The man's face grew even darker as he glared at Ji Zhenyan and left with a parting remark: "You will regret this."
Ji Zhenyan watched him leave with a cold smile. He knew that rejecting Century Entertainment would bring trouble his way, but he had no regrets.
Meanwhile, Gu Yan Shen was sitting in a lavishly decorated office, carefully reviewing a document in hand.
"Mr. Gu, here is the information you requested regarding the land auction in Jing City," the secretary said respectfully as she placed a file in front of him.
"Mm." Gu Yan Shen responded lightly, signaling for the secretary to leave.
He set down the document and began to read through the materials about the land auction. The government was publicly auctioning a large piece of land located in the suburbs of Jing City. This land was spacious and well-connected by transportation, and the government had very favorable development plans for it, attracting many businesses' attention.
Gu Yan Shen had been keeping an eye on this piece of land and had developed a bold idea in his mind: he wanted to build a large theme park on it. He understood that to establish a foothold in Jing City, he needed unique features and advantages, and a theme park was a breakthrough he was optimistic about.
In Gu Yan Shen's view, not only could a theme park bring substantial profits to SDS Company, but more importantly, it could serve as a calling card for SDS Company—a symbol representing its strength and image.
Gu Yan Shen set down the document as Ji Zhenyan's calm yet determined gaze flashed through his mind. This small arcade and that young man who rejected Century Entertainment's acquisition piqued his interest greatly.
"Interesting, truly interesting," Gu Yan Shen murmured to himself with a playful smile. He picked up his phone and dialed a number. "Help me look into this 'Pixel World' Arcade owner named Ji Zhenyan."
A few days later, Gu Yan Shen drove to the Pixel World Arcade. Today, he was dressed in casual attire, lacking his usual sharpness, looking like an ordinary customer.
"Welcome!" Xiao Li greeted him warmly.
Gu Yan Shen nodded slightly, scanning the Arcade before his gaze finally landed on Ji Zhenyan, who was busy behind the counter. He stepped up to the counter and said, "Boss, your business seems good."
Ji Zhenyan looked up and saw a stranger standing in front of him. He smiled politely and replied, "It's going well. What would you like to play?"
"I'm not really interested in games," Gu Yan Shen said as he pulled out a business card from his pocket and handed it over. "I'm interested in your Arcade."
Ji Zhenyan took the card and glanced at it; it only had a name and a phone number on it—Gu Yan Shen.
