As night fell, the starry sky intertwined with the city lights, creating a captivating scene. Jiang NanJin and Bai Huaiyu stepped out of the publishing house building, ready to temporarily set aside their work worries and enjoy a romantic dinner that belonged solely to the two of them.
Jiang NanJin slightly turned to Bai Huaiyu and said, "Tonight, let's not talk about work or comics; let's just enjoy this leisure time. I know a great restaurant with a stunning view and an atmosphere perfect for us." As he spoke, his eyes sparkled with excitement.
Bai Huaiyu was a bit taken aback by his sudden proposal, but soon an excited smile appeared on her face. "That sounds amazing! I can't wait to check it out."
As the taxi wove through the bustling city night, the neon lights and crowded streets gradually faded behind them. Finally, the car stopped in front of a towering skyscraper, where the highly anticipated restaurant mentioned by Jiang NanJin was hidden. As the elevator slowly ascended, the sound of the wind seemed to herald an extraordinary experience.
As soon as she stepped into the restaurant, soft and soothing jazz music enveloped her ears, while warm yet elegant lighting created a relaxing atmosphere. Bai Huaiyu's gaze was drawn to a window seat with an excellent view, and in that moment, her spirits seemed to soar.
As she approached the window, her eyes caught the dreamlike cityscape outside. The dazzling lights resembled reflections of a distant galaxy, filling her with longing. Bai Huaiyu shifted her gaze from the menu to Jiang NanJin, her eyes filled with anticipation. "Do you have any recommendations? The dishes here all look so delicious."
Jiang NanJin glanced at the menu and then looked at her with a half-smile. "Since it's so hard to choose, why don't we pick some dishes we each like and then share them?"
Bai Huaiyu's eyes lit up, and he couldn't help but gently clap his hands. "Good idea! This way, we can taste more different flavors."
After some discussion, they chose a few dishes that both were interested in. The waiter smiled as he took the menu, leaving the two of them immersed in the anticipation of the upcoming meal. Her gestures were animated, as if she were trying to convey the indescribable mysteries of the universe to Jiang NanJin through body language. Jiang NanJin smiled slightly, seemingly touched by her enthusiasm, but with a playful tone he responded, "That sounds great. However, I'm more curious—if you were to travel to such a universe, would you get lost?"
Bai Huaiyu was taken aback for a moment, then burst into laughter. She playfully nudged Jiang NanJin and said, "Are you making fun of me? But to be honest, I really might get lost." Her smile carried a hint of self-deprecation, yet it was undeniably charming.
The atmosphere became even more harmonious with such lighthearted conversation. Jiang NanJin was not to be outdone; he shared a funny incident he had encountered recently about a cat he observed on the street, cleverly squeezing itself out of a narrow gap. His narration was humorous and vivid, with every detail brought to life.
"Don't you think that sometimes the world of animals is even more fascinating than ours?" Jiang NanJin said, mimicking a cat squeezing into a tight space, which made Bai Huaiyu burst into laughter.

Jiang NanJin lazily leaned back in his chair, revealing a hint of a smug smile. "Of course, my taste has always been top-notch." Despite his words, his eyes inadvertently showed concern and tenderness towards Bai Huaiyu.
They exchanged thoughts in a relaxed atmosphere, discussing everything from gourmet food to the little details of life, with each topic bringing them closer to understanding one another. This dinner was not only a feast for the taste buds but also an important moment for emotional exchange between them, deepening their relationship during this long night.
As dinner came to an end, Jiang NanJin and Bai Huaiyu left the restaurant. They strolled slowly in the night breeze, enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the moment. Jiang NanJin suddenly stopped, looking at Bai Huaiyu with a serious expression. "I'm really happy tonight. With you by my side, everything feels different."
