There are many times when we often find ourselves trapped in the confusion of life. 0

Humans are emotional beings; emotions are like soft threads in our hearts that tightly connect us to the people and things around us. If a person disregards emotions, they become like a cold stone, lacking warmth, and will inevitably be seen as a heartless creature. 0

However, if everything is driven by emotions, it is like a ship without a rudder, left to be tossed about by the waves of feelings, often leading one to a state of weakness and vulnerability. Just like those who easily believe the lies of con artists out of sympathy, ultimately they can only swallow the Bitter Fruit themselves. 0

No one does not pursue perfection; perfection is like a distant castle shining with golden light, filled with infinite temptation. However, perfect things and perfect people do not exist, just as there are no two identical leaves in the world. 0

Overly pursuing perfection can be like a greedy hunter wanting to capture all prey, only to lose themselves in the multitude of targets and end up with regrets and troubles. 0

Therefore, we must learn to accept regrets and shortcomings. 0

There are no perfect people or things in the world, but there can be a perfect mindset. This mindset is like a mirror that reflects the beauty in life while calmly accepting the imperfections. 0

Whether it is young people just starting out or middle-aged individuals without much achievement, they often talk about fate. Just as one seeks a safe harbor when faced with difficulties, when things do not go well, they blame their misfortune on fate, as if fate were a demon that specifically torments them. 0

When life does not go as planned, they say their fate is bad, treating fate as a garbage bin for shirking responsibility. 0

In reality, what is fate? Fate is like an intangible shadow; it serves as an excuse for one's life or a pretext for one's existence. 0

If one misjudges their direction, it is like choosing the wrong path in a maze; choosing the wrong road is akin to boarding a train heading in the wrong direction; insufficient effort is like rowing without enough strength, which leads to failure and disappointment in life. Yet saying "my fate is bad" acts as a cover-up for these mistakes that rightfully belong to oneself. 0

This becomes a grand reason for life's failures, a hypocritical step up, and also a guide leading gradually toward despair and even degradation. At this moment, these individuals often resemble children yearning for warmth in the darkness, longing for understanding, sympathy, respect, or even assistance. 0

A reader looked at me with confusion and asked, "Why do philosophers say that life is a tragedy?" 0

In their gaze, there seemed to be a deep desire to explore the grand theme of life. I pondered for a moment and replied slowly, "The history of humanity is not a tragedy. Look at it like a long river winding through the landscape of time. If one era accidentally takes the wrong path, it's like a ship deviating from its course during a voyage. However, the next era often acts like an experienced sailor, learning from A Cautionary Tale, treating previous mistakes as reefs to be wary of, taking them as lessons to avoid the same pitfalls that caused predecessors to run aground. Thus, disasters often do not repeat themselves." 0

But humans are different. 0

Life is like a performance without rehearsal, with no room for assumptions and no chance for correction. Once the wrong path is chosen, it’s like stepping onto a treacherous road full of traps; making mistakes often feels like sinking into a swamp—the more you struggle, the deeper you get. Time will not be merciful like a deity, offering you a chance to start over. 0

Therefore, life is destined to be a tragedy, much like a flower blooming on the edge of a cliff—beautiful yet always facing the fate of withering away. 0

Someone listening immediately countered, "That's not true; everyone has the chance to start over." 0

His eyes reflected a stubborn defiance. 0

I gently shook my head and said, "That’s not a true fresh start; it’s merely patching up after losing sheep. Think about it: you are like a careless Shepherd who, due to negligence, has left a big hole in the sheepfold and lost many sheep. After suffering painful failures, you realize this and begin to repair the sheepfold. But those lost sheep can never return; the time you’ve lost is like those sheep that vanished into the wilderness—never to come back." 0

So for everyone, it's like being a captain steering through vast seas—constantly vigilant against making major mistakes and taking the wrong path. Because once you embark on this one-way journey of life, time rushes by like a howling wind—irreversible. 0

You see, many people achieve nothing in their lives, much like travelers lost in the desert who can never find their way out. 0

This happens because they choose paths unsuitable for themselves. It's akin to sending an Asuka deep into the sea to fish; even if they exert tremendous effort on an inappropriate path, it’s like groping in the dark without finding direction—all efforts are in vain. Meanwhile, some individuals ultimately become outstanding figures in human society, shining like the brightest stars in the night sky with their unique brilliance. 0

Although they also put in hard work, what matters more is that they chose the right path—like a seed falling into fertile soil and finding an environment suitable for its growth so it can thrive. 0

In fact, many people who experience setbacks in life do not realize that after they have hit rock bottom, a negative mindset only becomes a heavy burden, deepening their suffering. 0

They could adopt a different attitude that allows them to regain their dignity: bravely facing and acknowledging the consequences of their own actions, not shifting blame, not complaining about fate, and confidently taking responsibility. 0

Once they possess such a mindset, their difficulties often transform dramatically, like a light suddenly appearing at the end of a dark tunnel, providing another exit in their lives. 0

A strong person, or someone who has achieved remarkable success, never talks about fate. 0

They act as both the protagonist and director of their life’s stage, always keeping their lives firmly in their own hands and steering their own paths. 0

When things go smoothly, they believe it is the result of their diligent efforts, akin to a hardworking farmer reaping the rewards of careful cultivation; during life's setbacks, they assess the situation like an experienced explorer, calmly identifying their shortcomings and making necessary corrections to start anew. 0

In the face of success, those who stand tall in the world are serious, earnest, and diligent individuals who hold a deep respect for life and the world around them. They are like craftsmen who build magnificent structures, leaving no detail overlooked; while those who fail are often opportunists who fantasize about gaining without effort, much like those who wait for rabbits to hop into their laps from trees, ultimately ending up with nothing. 0
