The Dao focuses on understanding the heart, seeking what the mind desires without forcing, indulging, or coveting falsehoods.
Confucianism teaches gentlemen the study of rites, dividing people into three classes: the officials, the commoners, and the outcasts.
Buddha can resolve all kinds of worldly conflicts, help others do good deeds, save lost souls, save wronged souls, and save confused people.
The teachings of the Three Dao are often discussed by people in the world. People are students of Confucianism, but they hold Buddha in their hearts. Throughout their lives, they encounter many hardships and seek Dao for eternal life.
The Buddhist tradition teaches that disciples should follow the nine precepts:
1. Do not kill.
2. Do not steal.
3. Do not engage in sexual misconduct.
4. Do not lie.
5. Do not consume alcohol.
6. Avoid extravagance.
7. Avoid indulging in sensual pleasures.
8. Avoid speaking idly.
9. Avoid indulging in entertainment.
In short, discipline oneself, control external desires, and keep the mind pure.
Guide all beings, enlighten the world, and save sentient beings with a Buddha's heart.
The world is moved, burning incense to build temples, singing praises of merit, leaving a lasting legacy for generations.
But Dao is its alternative.
The concept of Dao originated from sorcery, its age is ancient and immeasurable.
Daoism originated in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, created by the person known as Master Zhang Zhang Daoling, with the initial idea of immortality.
This idea, from the beginning of time to the present, has been rarely broken.
Taoism has a branch called metaphysics.
"The Book of Changes," "Laozi," and "Zhuangzi" are three books that establish the profound and speak the truth.
Looking through the annals of a thousand years, there are countless seekers of immortality and questioning of the Dao by kings, yet not a single person has asked about achieving the Dao.
From Qin Shi Huang to the present year, the times have changed, and all things in the world are constantly changing. It can be understood that everything is just an illusion.
But why do people still have such illusions?
A well-known Dao cultivation system, mostly focused on Cultivation, with the potential to ascend to the heavens after reaching a high level of achievement.
From Cultivating qi, Foundation building, Golden core, Yuanying, out-of-body experience, Fen Shen (Transformation of the divine), Union, Transcending tribulation, to the Mahayana phase, these nine levels of cultivation can each handle all things in the world.
Each level is further divided into nine levels, taking the supreme number, but can also be divided into three levels, taking Dao as the main focus.
The Dao creates one, one creates two, two creates three, three creates all things.
Early stage, middle stage, peak stage.
This system of practice originated from Inner Alchemy, initially expounded by Su Yuanlang, also known as Qingxiaz, during the Sui Dynasty. It is known as the Internal Alchemy Theory by the people, and it flourished during the Golden Tang period.
The practice of Dao ing with this system is not restricted, involving cosmology, theories of time and space, philosophy, and even blending some philosophical ideas with Confucianism.
"Daoti Theory" describes the original meaning of Dao, believing that Dao is the essence of all things, which is also the common "cultivation" concept of "cultivating change to seek the unchanging" in later Cultivation literature.
Obtaining Dao from all things, and finally returning Dao to the world is considered as Dao resolution (corpse resolution).
Perhaps the paths of cultivation are different, but the ultimate goal is the same, seeking immortality and longevity.
"The Tao Te Ching" is widely known among the people of the world. It was written by an Lao Tzu during the Spring and Autumn period, and is divided into two parts: the upper part is called "The Dao Scripture," and the lower part is called "The Book of Virtue."
This book mainly discusses the method of cultivating Dao. Virtue is the foundation of cultivating Dao, and Dao is the sublimation of virtue.
All things have different paths but lead to the same destination. Dao gives birth to all things, yet Dao also exists within all things.
This was the earliest clear exposition of Dao by people.
In the later generations of the late Tang Dynasty, people also continued to improve the system of Internal Alchemy Theory and Taoism.
In many domestic and international Nanxiandao interpretations, the Unity of Heaven and Man ideology, as well as the Yin and Yang Five Elements theory, are frequently referenced, and these academic theories are more or less part of the Internal Alchemy Theory.
During the Northern Song Dynasty, many emperors were also obsessed with cultivating the Dao, and the practice of talisman Dao flourished, leading to the establishment of " San Shen Charm ".
Mao Mountain, Longhu Mountain, Gezao Mountain, the Mao Mountain Dao is the strongest among the martial arts sects, spread all over the world, and most of the later generations have encountered Mao Mountain Dao. Like the movies starring Lin Zhengying, they are mostly about this type of Dao.
Longhu Mountain mostly appears in the sects of Dao, and it is not fictional, but a real thousand-year-old sect.
Gezao Mountain is also known as the sacred place of the " Ke's Dao " due to the two people, Ge Xuan and Ge Hong, being regarded as the founders of Daoism. Apart from these three sects, other movements such as the Shenxiao Sect and the Tianxin sect also emerged during this time.
Shenxiao Sect The Five Thunder Talisman corresponds to the Five Elements Talisman in the Cultivation text, and they are interconnected, with metal, wood, water, fire, and earth all linked together.
Tianxin sect is divided into two types of disciples, lay and monastic. Lay disciples are required to take refuge in the Three Jewels, while monastic disciples are further divided into lineage and dharma disciples. The main lineage of the sect is the Sanqing Taoism lineage.
Regarding Internal Alchemy Theory, it later gave rise to Neidan.
Fu Yao Zi Chen Tuan once said the twelve-word Neidan mantra: "Refine essence to transform qi, Cultivate qi to transform spirit, refine spirit to return to emptiness, and return to the infinite."
May this mnemonic help all Dao friends to break through the fog and achieve great Dao s soon.
