Su Xingchen's voice stood out clearly in the chaotic gymnasium as fans gradually quieted down, anxiously looking towards the stage.
"What’s going on? Is there a power outage?"
"It seems like the sound system is broken. Is there a problem with the equipment?"
"Oh my gosh, I hope nothing bad happens! I'm so worried about Xingchen!"
Fans murmured among themselves, and a sense of unease spread through the crowd.
On stage, Su Xingchen felt the vibrations beneath his feet. He furrowed his brow slightly, a hint of worry flashing in his eyes. Ignoring the backup microphone handed to him by the staff, he raised both hands to signal for silence.
"Everyone, please don’t panic!" he raised his voice, calm and strong. "It’s just a minor incident. Please remain calm; we will resolve the issue shortly!"
His voice carried a reassuring power that gradually calmed the restless fans.
"Xingchen, are you okay?" Lin Xi rushed to the edge of the stage, looking at Su Xingchen with deep concern in her eyes.
"I'm fine," Su Xingchen gave her a reassuring look. "Go check on things backstage and have security maintain order. We need to prevent any stampede."
Lin Xi nodded and turned to run backstage. The stage lights flickered a few times before going completely dark, plunging the entire gymnasium into darkness.
"Ah!" A gasp erupted from the crowd.
"Everyone, don't panic!" Su Xingchen's voice rang out again, guiding the way in the darkness. "Please turn on your phone flashlights to light up those around you. Don't crowd together, don't panic!"
Fans quickly took out their phones, turning on their flashlights. Dots of light sparkled in the dark, gathering into a sea of stars that illuminated the entire stadium. Su Xingchen watched this scene, a slight smile appearing on his lips, his eyes filled with emotion.
He knew that no matter what happened, his fans would always support him.
In the audience, Tang Xiaotang tightly gripped her phone, tears glistening in her eyes. She raised her phone high and shouted, "Xingchen, we believe in you!"
Her voice was drowned out by the crowd's cheers, but she believed that Su Xingchen could hear her.
Backstage, Lin Xi anxiously questioned the staff, "What's going on? Haven't we found out the cause yet?"
"Lin Jie, someone tampered with the wiring; it was intentional sabotage!" the staff member replied, sweating profusely.
"Damn it!" Lin Xi cursed under her breath, a sense of foreboding rising within her. "Where are the security guards? Increase patrols; we must ensure Xingchen's safety!"
"They've already been notified and are on their way."
Lin Xi paced back and forth backstage anxiously, praying that Su Xingchen would be safe.
In the darkness, a shadow silently approached the stage, its eyes glinting with a cold light as it gripped a sharp dagger in its hand.
"Su Xingchen, your end is near..."
Su Xingchen felt a surge of killing intent approaching him from the darkness. He held his breath and silently moved his feet, quietly slipping into the shadows at the edge of the stage. The shadow, seeing that Su Xingchen was completely unaware, curled his lips into a cold smile. He tightened his grip on the dagger and lunged toward the center of the stage.
"Watch out!" The fans below shouted in alarm, but their cries could not stop the shadow's advance.
In a critical moment, Su Xingchen moved. He turned around with astonishing speed, accurately grabbing the shadow's wrist and twisting it forcefully. The dagger fell to the ground with a crisp sound.
The sudden turn of events left everyone stunned; the gymnasium fell silent in an instant, with only the flickering lights of mobile phones illuminating the two struggling figures on stage.
Fans, aided by the dim light, caught a glimpse of the shadow's appearance. It was a burly man wearing a black cap and mask that obscured most of his face, revealing only a pair of fierce eyes.
"Catch him! He wants to harm Xingchen!" Tang Xiaotang shouted anxiously, her voice tinged with a hint of tears.
"Xingchen, be careful!" Other fans also reacted, shouting loudly but feeling helpless.
