He kissed her smooth forehead, then got up and left the room, hurrying downstairs to the car to rush to the base. He had just received a call from Faisal, who said they had found the traitor within the organization. He was curious to know who this audacious traitor was.
The vehicle drove into a mansion surrounded by high iron gates and walls that were over ten meters tall, several stories high. The top was covered with shards of glass, and there was an electric fence surrounding it. Apart from this cold main gate, there was no other way to enter the estate. No one knew what went on inside; they only knew it was very mysterious... very mysterious!
Rafas stepped out of the sedan and walked steadily inside. This was his dark organization’s base; Monica represented the light, while this place represented the dark. The two forces formed a stark contrast, but the puppet master behind it all was Rafas alone.
"Si, you're here. The traitor has been caught. How do you want to deal with him? You decide," a man dressed in a black suit came out to greet him, standing before him and directly stating today’s main purpose. From his address, it seemed their relationship was not so simple.
"Let's go take a look together." His voice was cold, but there was no killing intent directed at the man before him.
The further they walked inside, the darker it became. After activating a mechanism, what appeared to be a white wall revealed an entrance. Rafas stepped inside; it was spacious, resembling a small gymnasium. In the distance, he saw a man bound and kneeling on the ground, his mouth slightly moving but showing no other expression.
Taking his seat in the position of utmost authority, he looked down at the man kneeling below. It turned out that the recent issues with transactions in their organization were caused by this guy sabotaging them, resulting in significant losses for him. How dare he oppose his dark organization? He should know what consequences awaited him.
"The leader has arrived. If you have anything to say, now is your chance. Don’t wait until there’s no opportunity left; then it will be too late," Faisal commanded the man on the ground.
The kneeling man, already battered and bruised, looked up upon hearing that the leader had arrived. Indeed, beside Faisal sat a man radiating an aura of authority—Rafas himself, the head of the North American dark organization.
Without question, he no longer had time to ponder this issue. If he could plead for mercy from Rafas, perhaps he could save his life. He did not want to be thrown into Serpent's Den; that place was not meant for humans. Once thrown in, it wouldn’t take even a minute for him to be torn apart by those vile creatures!
"Leader, please let me explain! I didn’t mean to do it! Solomon captured my wife and children; I was forced! You can check; my family really has been taken hostage by them! They said if I did something for them, they would release one family member! My wife and children were just released; my elderly mother is still being held as a hostage!" The man began to plead with a face full of despair. If not for being threatened, he wouldn’t have dared betray the organization even if he had a hundred lives.
Rafas raised an eyebrow as Faisal immediately whispered updates into his ear. So that’s how it was. He stood up and walked down the steps slowly, hands tucked into his suit pockets. His voice resonated like it came from hell as he looked at the blood-stained forehead of the man before him: "I understand your situation now. While it is indeed sympathetic, you must know that in my dictionary—Rafas's dictionary—there are no words like sympathy or forgiveness. You will pay for what you have done!"
