"What is our relationship? You tell me what our relationship is. Let me tell you, Ieyako, you are my Faisal's woman, until death do us part. No one else has the right to interfere with you, only I have that right!" She shouted, and he shouted even louder.
He had seen everything today, not just today; ever since he returned from England, her relationship with Shouya seemed to be very good. She often stayed in Shouya's lab for hours on end, and he truly wondered what they were doing in there.
"Shut up! Stop talking nonsense. We have nothing to do with each other, never have!" Just recalling his words from that day and that slap made her tears fall even harder.
"We have nothing to do with each other," those words made Faisal's eyes turn red with anger as he tightly held her in his arms and lowered his head to claim her soft lips.
"Mm..." His sudden action surprised Yezi. Didn't he hate her? Didn't he want to see her anymore? So why was he treating her like this now? What did he really want?
"Let go of me..." She struggled to say a few words, but Faisal showed no sign of releasing her, forcing Yezi to bite down hard on his lip.
"Ah... are you crazy?" The sudden pain made Faisal immediately release his hold on her.
"The crazy one is you... You said you didn't want to see me again, so what does this mean now?" Yezi wiped away the taste that belonged to him from her lips and turned away to avoid his gaze.
Her words left Faisal momentarily speechless. In the moonlit grove, they stood quietly like this, with Yezi's back turned to him, not saying a word.
A cool evening breeze blew by, making Yezi, dressed lightly, feel a chill. She shivered slightly and wrapped her arms around herself. This small detail caught Faisal's attention as he took a few steps closer and gently pulled her into his embrace.
"I take back what I said before, okay?" Faisal whispered uncontrollably in her ear.
Yezi was taken aback by his words; it seemed like he was saying he wanted to take back what he had said before. Was it about that day?
"You say too much; I don't know what you mean by this." Yezi stared blankly ahead, speaking so softly that only he could hear her.
"I want to see you every day, to watch you smile at me every day. I take back what I said that morning, my little Yezi. Will you forgive me?" Oh my God, Faisal actually said such things. After he finished speaking, he couldn't believe those words had come out of his mouth.
His words were sudden, like a ticking time bomb that exploded in front of her. Ieyako was already feeling confused; she didn't know how to respond to him. Her body stiffened against his embrace, and even breathing felt particularly difficult.
"My little Leaf, you are mine, just mine alone!" He had grown up with Rafas, and in many ways, they were indeed similar. However, when it came to feelings, he understood how to love a woman better than Rafas.
"You... I... I can't tell which of your words are true and which are false. So please, spare me. We are simply not suited for each other, and to you, I am just a temporary novelty!" Leaf's voice began to tremble; it wasn't that she didn't want to believe him, but his words were truly hard to trust.
Faisal furrowed his brows and turned her to face him, making her look into his eyes. "Why won't you believe me? Everything I say is true. I know best whether we are suited for each other. I, Faisal, would never lightly touch a woman. Once I do, it will never be just for fun."
"Fine, then tell me how many women you've been with?" It was hard for her to believe that such a powerful man could be so serious. He looked at least twenty-seven or twenty-eight; she couldn't believe he hadn't been with anyone else besides her.
Faisal paused for a moment before quickly answering, "Aside from you, there should be six or seven others."
Ieyako slightly turned her head; what could she say to such an answer? Even he wasn't sure. Were those six or seven women all ones he loved? That would make his feelings rather complicated.
Seeing her expression at that moment, Faisal realized she must have misunderstood. He held her tighter in his embrace and hurriedly explained, "Don't misunderstand. Besides you, I loved another woman before. We grew up together; she was an assassin. A few years ago during a rebellion, she didn't survive and was shot by those damned bastards. After she left, I fell into despair for a while and frequented chaotic places, which led to those other women. But eventually, I came out of it, and now years later, I've met you!"
Ieyako didn't know whether to believe him or not, but the expression on his face when he spoke told her he was being sincere.
"I'm... sorry for making you remember those unhappy memories!" After a long silence, she finally chose to believe him.
"It's okay; that happened many years ago. I've moved on from the past. Now all I want is to hold you and keep you by my side for the rest of my life!" This side of Faisal made Leaf feel suddenly nervous; he was so unlike himself that it felt strange... very strange...
Faisal looked at the petite Leaf in front of him and couldn't help but lean down again to kiss her lips. This time was different from before; there was no dominance—only tenderness that made Leaf feel electrified all over.
Their lips were closely entwined; Leaf already had his presence in her heart. In a daze, her delicate arms wrapped around his shoulders as she closed her eyes, savoring the breath that belonged to him.
"My little Leaf, say you love me..." His soft and hoarse voice echoed in her ears as Leaf melted into his embrace.
"I... I love you..." Completely entranced in this moment, Leaf seemed unaware of what was happening; whatever he said was what she followed without question.
"My good girl..." In a moment of confusion, Faisal kissed her cheek, trailing down to her collarbone, leaning in to cover her with his body against the tree trunk.
He pried open her lips, the long-forgotten taste exciting him, drawing them into an intimate entanglement.
Yezi let out a muffled moan, her body trembling slightly in an unnatural way. Faisal would not miss any small detail about her; he held her gently, caressing her to prepare her for relaxation.
Under the enchanting moonlight, a pair of lovers embraced tightly...
In the dark little forest, ambiguous moans floated through the air, and it took a long time for the forest to return to its original calm.
Faisal carefully adjusted Yezi's clothes, a smile on his face as he carried her out of the forest and directly into his tent.
Looking at the tired sleeping face in his arms, he recalled how many nights he had been unable to sleep because of her fresh face. He turned to hold her tighter and silently said, "Ieyako, from now on, you can only be my Faisal's woman!"
Outside the tent, a campfire flickered as several trained assassins took turns keeping watch. When they saw their leader return with a drowsy Yezi in his arms, they understood what he had been up to. They exchanged glances; their leader had finally indulged!
Yan Wushuang had a restless night, her small hands tightly clutching Rafas's clothing. In her dreams, she saw Smith Annie pointing at her with a group of women, cursing her... vixen, trash, filthy, shameless scum...
"I'm not... I'm not..." In her nightmare, she repeated these three words over and over again, causing Rafas to furrow his brow as he buried her face in his embrace.
"Woo... I didn't... I didn't... I'm not a vixen... I didn't seduce Lefas... I didn't..." Her nightmare seemed to deepen as she cried out her innermost thoughts, further frustrating Rafas.
"Baby, wake up..." Rafas shook her gently. From what she said, it was clear she had dreamt of that despicable woman.
"Ah..." Yan Wushuang screamed suddenly awake, staring blankly at him.
"Baby, don't be afraid. I'm here; that woman wouldn't dare lay a hand on you." Rafas held her close, but Wushuang suddenly pushed him away in fear, looking at him as if he were a monster.
Crouching in the corner, she remembered his wife's warning to stay away from this man. If she dared to cling to him again, next time, she would bring a group of men to deal with her on the spot!
Seeing how terrified she was of him, Rafas felt a surge of anger. What had happened to make her suddenly act like this?
"Baby, come here, let me hold you!" He suppressed his anger and coaxed her gently.
Yan Wushuang glanced at him and immediately shook her head, her voice trembling and hoarse as she whispered, "No, she will bring many men to touch me. Please... let me go, I'm scared..."
"You little brat, you are my Rafas's woman. Who dares to touch you? Come here..." Hearing her trembling words, he angrily scolded her and pulled her into his arms tightly.
"Woo... why won't you let me go? Why...?" With tear-streaked cheeks, she cried out loud enough for the brothers on guard outside to hear clearly, but no one dared to intervene.
Rafas's expression grew darker. Even now, she still wanted to leave him. This heartless woman deserved to be scared!
"My Wushuang, remember this: until I get tired of you, you are mine. Do you understand?" He lifted her chin with his hand, wanting her to see clearly who she belonged to.
Yan Wushuang remained silent, only shedding tears quietly...
Smith Annie heard the low growl of a man from the nearby tent and thought that the woman must have provoked Lefas and was being taught a lesson... She deserved it!
She chuckled at the thought of how Rafas had angrily struck her and looked forward to seeing how arrogant she could be tomorrow.
