“Lefas, as a brother, I advise you to find another place for Miss Wushuang. Keeping her locked in a cage like this really makes people uncomfortable, especially for a girl with her temperament.” A few days ago, Shouya had said the same thing, and because of this, Shouya had fallen out with him and hadn’t been seen for several days.
“Sharl, do you want to argue with me too?” Rafas flicked the ash from his cigarette, his face cold.
“Forget it, if you can’t listen, just pretend I didn’t say anything. But as a brother, I don’t want to see you regretting and suffering. Think about it; I’ve taken my woman away!” After saying this, Faisal left the study and appeared on the surveillance screen, taking Ieyako, who was still comforting Yan Wushuang.
Watching Faisal leave with the girl, she believed she would be happy. But what about her happiness? Where was her happiness?
With her head down against the bed, the door opened again. Rafas appeared before her with his usual indifferent expression, bent down to pick her up as she grew increasingly frail, not saying a word as he carried her out of the cage that confined her.
Yan Wushuang looked at the familiar surroundings; she was back in this room. Rafas personally changed her into a nightgown, and the butler brought in a bowl of millet porridge for her again.
Rafas brought the porridge to her lips, but Yan Wushuang still tightly shut her mouth and refused to open it. It had been five days; how long did she intend to play this game? He was running out of patience.
Slamming the bowl of porridge onto the table, he fixed his dark eyes on her and said, “If you want to die, that’s fine. But don’t let your stubbornness endanger the chef who cooked this porridge for you.”
Wushuang stared at him with tear-filled eyes. Did he really want to threaten her life again?
“Why do you always do this? What did they do wrong? What exactly did they do to be used as leverage against me?” This twisted man—did he have no means other than these despicable tactics?
Rafas lifted her chin with his long fingers, his seductive black eyes locking onto hers filled with anger: “Darling, their mistake was getting involved with you. If you behave and listen, I might consider letting them go. What do you think?”
Being so close allowed her to catch a faint scent of Ancient Dragon Fragrance on him. The fragrance was light and pleasant, but why did it make her feel so nauseous when it came from him?
Yan Wushuang silently avoided his gaze. Rafas was determined to see how many people would have to die before she would eat this bowl of porridge.
“Mike, bring all the chefs in from the kitchen.” With a roar, Mike’s response echoed immediately from outside the door.
Five minutes later, all the chefs working in the kitchen, along with the servants, were gathered and made to kneel in two rows of nearly ten people on the carpet, facing Yan Wushuang who was lying on the bed.
Yan Wushuang could not believe how extreme this situation had become. But Rafas was a man of his word; he took the gun from Mike and without hesitation shot through the head of a chef kneeling in the front row.
"Bang..." The gunshot jolted Yan Wushuang out of her momentary hope, and the others around her trembled in fear, terrified that they would be the next target.
"Stop it, you monster! You can't do this anymore. I will eat, I will eat, is that enough? Please let them go, don't hurt them anymore." She almost shouted, picking up a bowl of millet porridge from beside her bed and eating it with tears in her eyes.
The glaring blood-red in the room and the overwhelming stench made Yan Wushuang nearly vomit the porridge she had just swallowed. The brain that had been shot was oozing disgusting brain matter, causing those kneeling on the ground to be so frightened that they could hardly breathe.
"Now that's better!" After she finished a bowl of porridge, Rafas had some snacks sent over and personally fed her a few pieces before revealing a satisfied smile.
The room was quickly cleaned up as if nothing had happened, but the earlier scene was deeply etched in Yan Wushuang's heart; it was evidence of his cruel bloodlust that she would carry for life.
All the servants in the castle worked cautiously; this was already the fifth person shot by their master in recent days. Everyone was on edge, afraid to even breathe for fear they would be next. However, they knew that as long as Miss Wushuang could appease their master, their worries would dissipate.
Yan Wushuang lay weakly on the bed, looking at the familiar ceiling while recalling the scenes from earlier. If she were to die, perhaps this castle would be at peace again.
Her eyes slowly moved; it seemed that the man had left, leaving her alone in the room. Yan Wushuang smiled slightly because she knew she could soon end all this suffering.
She lifted the thin blanket off her body and stood barefoot on the carpet. Due to her weakness, she nearly fell when she stood up but managed to steady herself by holding onto a nearby table.
Taking one step at a time, she looked around but found no tools that could help her escape. It seemed that the man had removed any sharp or dangerous objects to prevent her from harming herself again.
Wushuang walked toward the bathroom because she knew he would know if she did anything in her room. Pushing open the bathroom door and standing in front of the sink, she looked at herself in the mirror. This was hardly how a princess should look!
After glancing around in the bathroom, she pursed her lips; perhaps this item could help her!
Yan Wushuang picked up the hairdryer in the bathroom and looked at her reflection in the mirror. Suddenly, she swung the hairdryer with all her might against the mirror, which shattered with a loud bang, scattering countless shards across the sink.
Wushuang gazed at her handiwork with satisfaction, dazed as she picked up one of the smaller pieces and turned to step into the bathtub. She turned on the faucet, allowing the cold water to flow in and engulf her body.
With her right hand, she held the glass shard and found the sharpest edge. Smiling gently, she pressed it firmly against her delicate, pale wrist, drawing a deep cut. Blood gushed out from the wound instantly. Yan Wushuang stared blankly at her wrist as blood continued to spill out; it felt like it was flowing too slowly.
Raising her right hand again, she made several more deep cuts on her wrist…
Watching the blood pour out vigorously, she felt an unusual joy, completely unaware of any pain. She discarded the glass shard from her palm and lay quietly in the bathtub, allowing the rising cold water to submerge her battered body.
A large amount of blood flowed from her body, causing her bodily functions to decline rapidly, and her vision began to blur. Yet, a smile of sheer happiness remained on her face; she was finally free…
As the last glimmer of light faded from her eyes, Yan Wushuang closed them heavily. The blood on her wrist stained the entire bathroom red. Naturally fragrant, she filled the space with a unique scent due to the massive loss of blood.
Rafas did not leave; he simply wanted to avoid seeing her and having her affect his thoughts. However, sitting in his study, he felt an unsettling sensation swirling in his heart that he couldn't quite identify—just something that made him uncomfortable.
He activated the camera in the room and saw that the comfortable double bed was empty. What was that woman up to? Where had she gone?
Frowning deeply, he kicked open the study door. He couldn't afford to take his eyes off her for even a moment. But as he approached the front of the room, a strange fragrance hit him hard in the chest, causing him to gasp for breath for a second. His mind raced—what was happening inside?
Rafas pushed open the door and stepped inside. The carpet was soaked with water flowing from the bathroom. What on earth was she doing in there?
At this point, he sensed something must have happened inside. Without thinking further, he kicked open the bathroom door. The floor was covered in water mixed with some bright red liquid. When he looked into the bathroom, he could hardly describe what he felt.
Yan Wushuang's petite body lay lifelessly submerged in the bathtub. Her small face was devoid of color, frighteningly pale; even her lips had turned white. Her fair wrist was covered in cuts, and blood continued to drip out without any sign of stopping!
Rafas rushed in with red eyes, lifted her out of the bathtub, and wrapped a towel around her wounds, desperately trying to stop the bleeding while shouting for Mike to prepare a vehicle to take her to Shouya immediately.
At Solomon Base, a group of professional medical staff was busy surrounding the woman at the operating table. Rafas's white shirt was stained red with her blood, and Ye was sitting sadly to the side, his eyes swollen and red like walnuts from crying.
"Heaven, you must protect Wushuang. She is such a kind person; how could you be so cruel to her?" Rafas glared at Ieyako, feeling very displeased. If she talked any more, he would have shot her on the spot.
Faisal sensed his unfriendly gaze and immediately shielded his beloved woman. Who was to blame for this outcome? It was all due to his own excessive actions.
In the operating room, Shouya was performing surgery on Yan Wushuang, connecting the blood vessels in her wrist. Looking at the depth of the wound, it seemed she had truly been pushed to a dead end by Lefas!
In Japan, Yamamoto Ryuichi suddenly felt a sharp pain in his chest, which caught the attention of Misa passing by. She rushed into the study to support him and shouted for someone to prepare a car to take him to the hospital.
"Misa, I'm fine; there's no need to go through all that trouble to go to the hospital." After about five seconds of pain, it gradually returned to normal.
Yamamoto Misa looked at Long Yi, who seemed to have recovered. Just moments ago, he had been pale and sweating profusely; how could he now claim he was fine?
"No way! You were in so much pain just now; there must be something wrong with your body. If you don't go to the hospital for a check-up, I won't feel at ease." Misa's insistence left Long Yi speechless.
At a hospital in Tokyo City, Long Yi underwent a full-body examination due to Misa's insistence. However, when the report came back, it showed that he had no issues at all, which made Misa extremely uneasy.
He had been in such severe pain earlier; how could the examination report show no problems? Was it possible that there had been a mistake?
