The moon tonight is truly full, just like on a night of a full moon, and the Moon Goddess seems to have heard her prayers. A silvery light shines upon the jade pendant, and after being illuminated by the light, it condenses into a golden glow that slowly rises. Everyone watches in awe as this miracle unfolds, especially Yamamoto Ryuichi, whose heart swells with excitement as he gazes at the Dragon Pendant surrounded by golden light in mid-air.
Yan Wushuang watches as the pendant performs this miracle, closing her eyes and praying with her hands clasped together...
Suddenly, after swirling in mid-air for a moment, a force from the pendant refracts onto Yan Wushuang's forehead, enveloping her completely. Long Yi attempts to reach out to her but is repelled by this powerful force.
"Shuang'er... Shuang'er..." He rushes forward several times, but the force is too strong for him to get close to Shuang'er.
At the moment Yan Wushuang is illuminated by the light, she feels weightless, and familiar images unfold clearly before her eyes. She sees her past and recalls everything—why it is this way, why reality is as it is.
Rafas, I hate you...
The light suddenly vanishes, and the pendant falls to the ground, shattering into two pieces. Yan Wushuang collapses unconscious on the ground, causing Long Yi to rush forward and pick her up in fright. The pendant is broken; their hopes of returning are shattered. What will they do now?
Rafas feels a sharp pain in his heart. What has happened? Something must have happened to Wushuang. Where could she be?
He closes his eyes and searches through his mind. Suddenly, he senses Wushuang's presence from somewhere. Perhaps that guy has found something: "Mike, prepare the helicopter!"
Under the night sky, Rafas takes a helicopter to the mountain peak where Yan Wushuang had intended to leave this world. It is eerily quiet around, as if no one has ever been here.
"Mike, look around for any signs that someone has been here!" His instincts are usually accurate; they must have come here, perhaps nearby.
As soon as he gives the command, one of his subordinates shouts: "Master, there are traces of a helicopter landing here!"
Rafas and Mike rush toward the sound and indeed find clear signs that someone has recently left. It seems he has arrived too late...
Japan.
Yan Wushuang had been unconscious for over ten hours. After she fell into a coma, Yamamoto Ryuichi kept the broken jade pendant, which was split in two, with him as he left Las Vegas with Wushuang overnight.
The split jade pendant was perfectly divided so that each of them could wear one half. Looking at Wushuang's peaceful sleeping face, she was still as beautiful and captivating as ever.
His gaze moved downward to her flat abdomen, where a fragile life was growing. Unfortunately, the arrival of this small life filled him with hatred. He hesitated, contemplating whether to take advantage of Wushuang's unconsciousness to eliminate the small life within her that represented shame.
“Hmm… Hmm…” Wushuang murmured in her daze, her fingers slightly reacting, causing Long Yi, who had been by her side, to stand up excitedly. “Shuang'er, Shuang'er, how are you? Wake up!”
Under his urging calls, Yan Wushuang slowly opened her hazy eyes. Seeing the man beside the bed, she sat up excitedly and threw herself into his arms, holding him tightly. “General, is it really you? I didn't expect we would have a chance to meet again.”
Long Yi was taken aback by Wushuang's words. Did she just call him General? Yes, it was General. She had regained her memory; his princess had returned!
“My princess, my princess has come back! Have you finally remembered me?” He looked at her with red-rimmed eyes. Although he couldn't leave this world, he was grateful that she had finally regained her rationality.
Wushuang buried her face in his chest, tears wetting her cheeks as she nodded. She remembered everything—everything!
The two embraced tightly together. This scene happened to be witnessed by Misa. Now that Wushuang had regained her memory, where would she go from here?
Knocking on the door awkwardly, Misa walked in. The two who were tightly embraced heard the knock and turned to look at the door. It was Misa carrying food. “Wushuang, you’ve been unconscious for over ten hours. You should eat something; otherwise, the baby will be hungry.”
Wushuang's expression suddenly stiffened at the mention of the baby. Her small hand touched her flat abdomen as she almost forgot that she was carrying that beast's child. How could this happen? Had she done something wrong in her past life that warranted this punishment?
Seeing her sudden change in expression, Misa understood why she reacted this way. She took Wushuang's hand and said with concern, “Wushuang, don’t think too much. The mistakes of adults shouldn’t be placed on children. He is just an unformed child; he is innocent, do you understand?”
The child is innocent, she repeated this phrase in her mind while looking at the long-lost Misa and General Longze standing beside her. Was the child truly innocent? But his father was a demon—a devil! Did she really want to keep him?
Long Yi calmly reflected on Misa's words; she was right—the child was innocent. The mistakes of adults should not be placed on children.
"Shuang'er, eat something. Misa is right; although this child's father has committed a heinous crime against us, he knows nothing about it and is innocent. Once he is safely born, I will treat him as my own child," Long Yi said calmly, but these words made Misa's heart ache.
Wushuang nodded with tears in her eyes; she would be a good mother!
"Shuang'er, hurry up and eat. We need to leave soon," Long Yi said as he peeked into the courtyard to check that everything was ready for their departure.
Yan Wushuang had just taken a few bites when his words drew her attention.
"Japan is too dangerous; Rafas could come looking for us at any moment. That's why I want to take you to China, our homeland. Don't you want to go back and see our homeland?" He had everything arranged; as long as Wushuang was not there with him, he believed Rafas would not trouble Misa, a girl.
"I think I would rather return to the land of the Great Yan Kingdom!" Tears filled her eyes; China was the place she longed for, the Eastern capital that belonged to them.
Misa had been silently enduring her pain without saying a word, watching as they completely left her behind. What could she do? She had always been an unwelcome third party between them. Perhaps in China, they could find true happiness.
Without much lingering sentiment, just a brief farewell, Yamamoto Ryuichi took Wushuang away from Japan. Misa watched his departing figure; he really left, abandoning her and forsaking his promise to his father...
"Master, we have confirmed that Yamamoto Ryuichi was in Japan today but left shortly after. His current whereabouts are unknown, but we will track them down!" Mike reported the news to Rafas. Rafas had anticipated that he would make a trip back to Japan but knew he wouldn't stay there long.
Upon reflection, there was only one place they were most likely headed... China!
His deep, dark eyes revealed a glimmer of light. Long Ze/Yamamoto Ryuichi, no matter where you take Shuang'er, she will always be my woman and the mother of my child.
"Prepare yourselves; we are heading to Hong Kong, China!" His woman—no matter how much effort it took—he would definitely bring her back.
Faisal and Shouya were surprised by this news. It seemed that Lefas was not just playing around this time. To lighten his burden, Shouya reluctantly stepped into Monica Tower to temporarily manage all affairs of Monica, while Faisal would handle Solomon's responsibilities. However, his task seemed even more challenging; Monica posed certain difficulties for Shouya, so he needed to assist him closely!
Rafas felt fortunate to have these two partners by his side. No matter the time or situation, whenever he needed their help, they would step up without complaint, allowing him to proceed without worries.
"Lefas, we agreed that my stay here with Monica is only temporary, at most half a month. If you don't come back after that, I won't be responsible anymore. And one more thing, I hope you can bring Shuang'er back with you. You understand what I mean. I'm enduring all this hardship for Shuang'er, not for you!" Shouya said, hands on his hips. He had been observing how Shuang'er was doing during this time and believed that they had developed feelings for each other.
"You little brat, shut up and go back to the office to look at the documents!" Rafas shot him a glare before boarding the plane, refusing to give him a pleasant expression in front of everyone.
Faisal had always shared the same thoughts as him; there was no need for explanations as he understood his intentions. He handed him a bag, which was something Yezi had asked him to give to Lefas for Yan Wushuang.
Inside the luxurious and comfortable cabin, Rafas suddenly noticed a small bag that Sharl had just handed him. She had insisted that he take her things with him. What could it be?
He opened it and saw a cute photo pop into his mind. Taking out his personal phone, he realized it was the dress she had worn when she took a picture for him just before she went missing.
"My darling, do you miss me? I'll be there soon!" he murmured while looking at the beautiful woman smiling in the photo.
In this ancient civilization, Long Ze brought Wushuang to this historic land, searching for their familiar memories. Ever since he left Japan with Wushuang, he had returned to his true self—not the leader of the Yamaguchi-gumi, Yamamoto Ryuichi, but simply Long Ze!
So this is China; everyone's eyes are black, and everyone speaks the same language. There were no more diverse people around. In just a few minutes, she fell in love with this place.
"Shuang'er, this is Beijing, the capital of China. If you like it here, we can stay and live here from now on, okay?" Long Ze said, looking at her smiling face and knowing she would love it.
"Um, but is this land part of our Great Yan Kingdom?" Wushuang asked eagerly.
"This isn't it; I still need to verify the exact location. However, this place has experienced many dynasties' stories. Once we settle down today, I'll take you to see those ruins tomorrow, okay?" He tried his best to satisfy her because Great Yan was just a small country in ancient times, so there were very few historical records about it. He would have to put in some effort to learn more.
