Rafas knew what she was thinking. He did not stop her thoughts, but the only condition was that she could not stay in the Studio for too long; it was too exhausting. As long as there was any threat to her and the baby, he would not allow it. 0

On the first day, Yan Wushuang prepared her colors and books, starting to find inspiration in the Studio. 0

By the second day, she had selected the illustrations from the books and began sketching them on pure white rice paper. However, Rafas did not allow her to stay in the Studio for long periods. It took her an entire day to outline the base drawing with a Sketch Pen. 0

On the third day, she started coloring the picture she had drawn yesterday. Although she could have directly used ink wash techniques, she chose to lightly outline the base drawing on rice paper before adding color for a more refined result. 0

Early on the fourth day, Yan Wushuang hurried to the Studio. The colors she applied yesterday had completely dried overnight. Looking at the vivid depiction of the two figures on the rice paper, Yan Wushuang smiled with satisfaction. 0

Both were dressed in traditional Japanese wedding kimonos, with vibrant red as the main color of Misa's wedding attire. Misa's clean and delicate face wore a happy smile as she held onto the man behind her. General Longze stood beside Misa in a black and blue kimono, his expression stern yet gentle next to Misa. She loved this painting that represented her blessings; they would surely appreciate it. 0

Rafas understood her feelings and had Mike take the painting to a gallery for framing before packaging it to send to Japan. Since everyone had recognized their future paths, Rafas decided that for Wushuang and the child's sake, he would no longer seek trouble with Yamaguchi-gumi; they would keep their distance from each other moving forward. 0

“Lefas, has my painting been sent out?” The painting had been taken by Mike three days ago, and she was worried it wouldn't arrive in time before March 3rd. 0

“Don't worry, Mike even took a photo of it for you. Let me see where I put it,” Rafas searched through his briefcase for a moment and casually handed her a photo. 0

Yan Wushuang held the photo in her hands. After being packaged by the gallery, the painting looked even more lifelike. Seeing her work turn out so well made her feel happy inside. 0

“Mike already sent out your painting yesterday. If all goes well, they should receive your gift tomorrow,” Rafas embraced her, allowing her to rest comfortably against him. 0

“Mm, thank you, Lefas…” 0

In Japan. 0

Yamaguchi-gumi was indeed the leading force in organized crime in Japan, so Yamamoto Ryuichi and Yamamoto Misa's wedding was naturally going to be grand. 0

Misa was trying on the kimono she would wear for her wedding when a servant knocked at the door: “Miss, there's a package sent from Las Vegas in America for you and your husband. It seems to be a painting.” 0

A painting? Misa was taken aback, unsure of what was happening. 0

"Wait a moment, I'll change my clothes and come out." After thinking for a while, she quickly changed out of her clothes and walked outside. 0

The servant placed the package in the hall. Yamamoto Ryuichi was still at the club, and Misa, having changed her clothes, walked out and approached the package, asking the servant to tear off the paper on the outside. 0

When a complete artwork appeared before Misa's eyes, she felt so excited that she didn't know what to say. She stepped forward and gently touched the woman in the painting. Is this really her? 0

The man and woman in the painting were happily holding hands, smiling brightly. Their traditional Japanese wedding kimonos further highlighted the meaning of the artwork. 0

Misa immediately recognized that this was a painting created by Wushuang herself. She was so thoughtful, even while pregnant, to prepare such a gift for them. 0

"Please hang this painting in our new house carefully; don't break it!" Misa loved this painting very much and wanted it to be hung in their new home so that she could see it every day upon waking. 0

Yamamoto Ryuichi had just finished a meeting at the club when he received an urgent call from Misa: "Misa, what’s going on? Why did you need me back so urgently?" 0

Seeing him return, Misa immediately took his hand and led him to their new house, pointing at a painting on the wall. "Look, this is the painting we just received this afternoon. It's a wedding gift from Wushuang. It's really beautiful; I love it so much. What do you think?" 0

Yamamoto Ryuichi looked in the direction Misa was pointing. On the originally white wall, there suddenly appeared a vividly painted garment. Upon closer inspection, he realized that the main characters in the painting were none other than him and Misa. 0

"Is this really a painting done by Wushuang herself?" He seemed somewhat incredulous, standing there in a daze. 0

"What do you mean by how Wushuang's paintings look? Can't you tell?" Misa reminded him intentionally. Didn't he buy a Scenic Landscape Painting painted by Wushuang at the New York auction earlier? How could he not recognize it? 0

Misa's implication was clear to Yamamoto Ryuichi; he just didn't want to admit that Wushuang would generously create a painting for him and Misa as a gift. 0

Yamamoto Ryuichi took a few steps forward and quietly gazed at the painting on the wall. The brushwork was unmistakably Wushuang's style; his last glimmer of hope faded away. It seemed that Wushuang had long since moved on from him. Well, as long as she was happy in the future, he had nothing more to say. 0

Misa stood beside him and actively wrapped her arm around him, just like in the painting... 0

November 3rd. 0

The weather gradually turned cold, and today was a good day for the Yamaguchi-gumi. All business locations were closed for the day to celebrate the wedding of the leader and Miss Misa. 0

Like all Japanese wedding ceremonies, Misa wore a red kimono and knelt on the floor to receive blessings. Yamamoto Ryuichi tenderly cared for her. She was already nearly three months pregnant, so he simplified many of the complicated rituals. Since neither of them had parents present, they had a simple ceremony and then took Misa to rest. 0

Of course, there would be a banquet afterward. Leaders from gangs across Japan gathered at the wedding banquet, along with many collaborators from other countries who came to congratulate him. 0

Misa rested in their room, quietly looking at the paintings on the wall, hoping that her future life would be as happy and sweet as the people in the paintings. 0

As night fell, Yamamoto Ryuichi drunkenly returned to their new home. Misa helped him to bed and changed his clothes so he could sleep comfortably. 0

"Shuang'er... Shuang'er..." In his drunken state, Yamamoto Ryuichi called out repeatedly, causing Misa to lower her head and look at her hands, unable to face him. 0

"Shuang'er, why can you be so heartless? Why could you love Rafas so openly? But do you know how much my heart hurts... Shuang'er..." He shouted, completely unaware that tonight was their wedding night. 0

Misa looked at the man on the bed with pain. Even at this point, his heart still couldn't let go of Wushuang. But Wushuang no longer loved him; why was he still so obsessed? Why wouldn't he give himself or her a chance? 0

"You fool, you are the biggest idiot in the world!" Misa cried as she collapsed onto his chest, her eyes red with tears. 0

She had once fantasized about her future, imagining how romantic her wedding night would be and dreaming of spending a lifetime with the man she loved starting tonight. 0

But she was wrong; fantasies were always just fantasies and could never come true... 0

Yan Wushuang had a sleepless night last night and didn't know why. Perhaps it was because last night was a great day for the general and Miss Misa; she was too excited and couldn't sleep. 0

"Baby, I saw you didn't sleep well last night. Why don't you sleep a little more? How will you have the energy to go to the hospital for your check-up this afternoon?" Rafas changed his clothes and prepared to go to a meeting at the company. 0

Yan Wushuang turned around and tightly hugged him, playfully asking for the first time, "Honey, can you stay home with me? I don't want you to go to the company; I want you with me, okay?" 0

Her call of "honey" made Rafas feel weak all over, but today's meeting was very important, and he had to attend in person. 0

"My dear, if it were a regular administrative meeting, I could skip it, but today's meeting is connected with the UK, so I have to be there in person. I noticed you didn't rest well last night. Why don't you take a nap in bed? By the time you wake up, I'll be back from the meeting. How does that sound?" He gently reassured her. Today, she particularly stirred his affection, and he felt a strong urge to stay home with her. 0

Yan Wushuang looked into his eyes; she knew he wouldn't lie to deceive her, so she chose to trust him. She nodded obediently and agreed to wait for him at home until he returned at noon. 0

He helped her lie down on the bed, and Rafas stayed by her side until she closed her eyes. Only then did he leave the room to rush to the company for the meeting. 0

As she heard the car drive away downstairs, Yan Wushuang immediately opened her eyes. She hadn't actually fallen asleep at all; she had been wide awake all night without any sense of fatigue. 0

During the meeting, Rafas frequently glanced at his watch, wondering how she was doing. Normally, he wouldn't feel time passing during long meetings, but today, after just over two hours, he couldn't contain himself any longer. As soon as the meeting concluded, he assigned today's tasks to his assistant and sped back to the castle. 0

After he left, Yan Wushuang quietly got out of bed and went upstairs to the studio to paint because she simply couldn't sleep. She casually ate some of the breakfast that had been left on her bedside table, leaving the room empty. 0

"Is Madam awake?" The first thing Rafas asked upon returning to the castle was about her. 0

"I haven't seen Madam come downstairs yet, nor have I heard any messages from her room. She might still be resting," Band respectfully replied. As soon as he finished speaking, Rafas had already passed him and rushed toward the upstairs bedroom. 0

He hurriedly pushed open the bedroom door; it was indeed very quiet inside. However, this silence was unsettling—there was no sign of life within. Taking a few steps inside, he found no trace of the Little Woman on the bed. 0

"Shuang'er... where are you?" Rafas called out several times from the doorway before heading up to the studio and dance room. 0

Since the butler said she hadn't come downstairs, it was likely that she was upstairs. 0
