Leaving Louisiana Restaurant, Morina drove Xinya back. Along the way, she seemed to be in a good mood, as it appeared that Shouya would be returning in a few days. However, she was not afraid of him; An Xin Ya was determined to have him. 0

Three days later, Shouya finally flew to Las Vegas. As soon as he got off the plane, he dragged his suitcase out of the airport parking lot, got into his car, and drove back to his private residence. He hadn't informed Xinya about his return; he just wanted to surprise her. 0

Recently, he had been busy investigating Xinya's background and had gained a little insight, but it was still quite elusive. Therefore, staying in China was of no use, and he had to send someone to investigate secretly. 0

Having not seen Xinya for several days made him miss her greatly; he couldn't wait to return home and see her the next moment. 0

“Xinya, I’m back!” As soon as Shouya got out of the car, he pushed open the door and walked into the house. In the large living room, he didn’t see Xinya but noticed a vase on the glass tabletop filled with roses, with petals scattered around. 0

The color of the roses hurt his eyes, and his smile vanished instantly, replaced by a dark expression. Who could have sent roses to Xinya? 0

In her room, Xinya heard Shouya's voice in the living room and happily rushed out. Seeing Shouya suddenly appear in the living room, she exclaimed, “Brother Shouya, you’re back!” 0

She ran up to him and threw herself into his arms, holding him tightly. It had been a long time since she had embraced him like this. 0

“Why are there so many roses in the living room?” Shouya asked coldly. 0

Hearing his tone, An Xin Ya froze for a moment; her smile faded gradually. She looked up at him and then at the roses on the glass tabletop. She had no idea Shouya would return suddenly; she had planned to throw them away before he came back but hadn’t gotten around to it. 0

She felt a bit flustered but managed to maintain her composure. Smiling slightly, she said, “I don’t know who sent them; there was no name on the card. Since they were delivered and I didn’t want to throw them away—what a waste—so I just…” 0

Shouya didn’t want to hear her explanation; without saying another word, he walked upstairs and slammed the door shut. 0

An Xin Ya stood there in shock, unsure of what was wrong with him. She knew it was her fault for accepting those roses; she had told the staff at the flower shop not to send any more, but they seemed to ignore her request and continued delivering them directly to her doorstep. 0

That night when Shouya stepped out of his room, he didn’t see any roses on the table. Surely Xinya must have cleared them all away! 0

Seeing Xinya cooking dinner in the open kitchen, he approached her from behind and hugged her, saying, “Xinya, today it was my fault; I shouldn’t have lost my temper with you.” 0

“Then you know what you should do now?” 0

“I’m sorry! I won’t do it again next time,” Shouya vowed, raising his right hand in promise. 0

That night, after they finished dinner, they sat in the living room, resting while watching TV and chatting. It had been several days since he had desired her, and he felt restless. Shouya leaned close to her ear and whispered, "Let's do it later... Hehe!" 0

An Xin Ya felt shy, her face turning red to the roots of her ears. She smiled slightly without speaking; it had been many days since she had felt warmth. 0

Shouya stood up, picked her up horizontally, and carried her into the bedroom. He gently tossed her onto the bed and pounced on top of her, gazing into her bright eyes with a flicker of shyness. He lowered his head to kiss her lips... the heat within him had built up significantly. 0

An Xin Ya also felt a surge of warmth throughout her body. 0

"Ah..." she let out a soft moan, closing her eyes to savor the feeling of being loved. 0

He leaned down, kissing her mouth and swallowing all her moans. 0

With a flushed face, he lay contentedly in front of Xinya's rising chest, panting heavily. He lifted his head and smiled at his woman, nibbling on her earlobe as he softly said, "Xinya, I love you!" 0

Every time they engaged in this act, he would whisper this phrase in her ear, making it feel somewhat unreal. She wished that every morning he would kiss her forehead and gently say "I love you," at which point she would feel incredibly happy and sweet. 0

Shouya got up, holding her naked body as they walked into the bathroom. They sat in the bathtub together. Xinya washed his back, her fingertips gliding over his skin before she wrapped her arms around him, resting her face against his back as she asked, "Brother Shouya, do you really think I should spend my life with you?" 0

"What do you think?" Shouya turned around and looked at her gently. "I will take care of you for a lifetime. Come on, stop overthinking." 0

The two embraced tightly once more. 0

"Uncle Shouya! It's great to see you! Long time no see!" Yuga exclaimed as she just walked out of Maria Music Training Class. From a distance, she spotted Uncle Shouya who had come to pick up Sister Anxi and excitedly ran towards him. 0

"Yeah, long time no see! You've grown taller!" Shouya said as he reached out to pat her little head with a smile. 0

"Uncle Shouya, I heard you went to China not long ago?" 0

"Yes!" It must have been Xinya who told her. 0

"I heard that not long ago, a man named Morina drove a really long Lincoln Car to our training class's entrance to pick up Sister Anxi and even brought a huge bouquet of roses!" Yuga said animatedly. 0

“Morina?!” Upon hearing the name Morina, Shouya's expression darkened, his eyes narrowed, and a cold light flickered in his gaze as he instinctively clenched his fists. 0

No wonder he returned yesterday to find the living room filled with roses. When he asked Xinya, she deliberately evaded the question, stammering in her response. Thinking of this, an inexplicable anger ignited within him. 0

So it’s you, Morina, taking advantage of his trip to China to get close to Xinya... 0

“Brother Shouya!” Xinya cheerfully walked out. 0

Seeing this, Yuga quickly said to Shouya: “Shouya Uncle, please don’t tell Sister Anxi that I said anything! I’m leaving now, bye!” 0

Yuga slipped away like a little loach! 0

Xinya approached Shouya, curiously watching Yuga dash off at the sight of her, and asked Shouya: “What’s wrong with Yuga? Why did she run away as soon as she saw me?” 0

Turning back, she noticed Shouya’s dark expression, completely different from his usual demeanor. She looked at him in confusion and asked, “Brother Shouya, what’s wrong?” 0

Flames spread in Shouya’s eyes, but he couldn’t confront her about it on the road. Without saying a word, he turned and walked to the car, opening the door and sitting inside. 0

Xinya looked at him in confusion; it was only the second day back and he was already giving her the cold shoulder. She pouted and got into the passenger seat, buckling her seatbelt without acknowledging him. 0

Starting the engine, Shouya slowly drove onto the road, maintaining a steady pace. Remembering what Yuga had just told him, he directly asked her: “Have you been getting close to Morina lately?” 0

“What?” Xinya blinked in confusion, not understanding what he meant. 0

“I’m asking if you’ve been spending time with that Morina. He drove over to pick you up from Maria Music Training Class and even brought you roses. Are those roses you receive every day from him? Don’t think I don’t know anything; I know everything. I told you to stay away from that Morina, so why didn’t you listen…” The flames of anger consumed him entirely as he glared at Xinya, shouting that he could not tolerate her lying to him. 0

An Xin Ya was stunned. Seeing him so furious over this matter made her feel wronged. Tears welled up in her eyes; not wanting to explain further, she shouted at him: “Stop the car!” 0

Shouya had no intention of stopping; he kept driving, his head clouded with rage that wouldn’t subside. 0

“I said stop the car! Didn’t you hear me?” With tears filling her eyes and blurring her vision, seeing that he wouldn’t stop, An Xin Ya shouted again. 0

Shouya glared at her angrily without saying a word, pulling over to the side of the road and letting her get out. 0

An Xin Ya cried as she pushed the car door open, stepped out, and slammed the door shut. He drove away, leaving her feeling both heartbroken and furious. 0

Why was he always like this? It had been the same last time and this time, leaving her unsure of what to do. She pressed her lips together and wiped away her tears with her hand, aimlessly walking back. 0

She didn't know how long she walked until it was dark, the city lights shining brightly in the bustling streets filled with people and cars. At that moment, she was sitting in a square in Las Vegas. She took out her phone to check the time; it was already nine o'clock at night. 0

He hadn't called or sent a single message, which only made her feel more wronged. Her eyes became moist again as she looked up, trying hard not to let the tears fall, and slowly walked back. 0

When she returned home, the lights were on inside. At that moment, she saw him coming out of his room, holding a bottle of drink. Upon seeing her, he wore an icy expression and walked past her to sit on the sofa, engrossed in watching the news. 0

An Xin Ya felt a surge of anger inside her. Furious, she rushed back to her room, slammed the door shut, and locked it. That night, he didn’t come back to sleep with her but instead took a pillow and blanket to sleep on the sofa in the living room. An Xin Ya couldn't sleep at all that night, tossing and turning until around four or five in the morning before finally falling asleep. 0

The next day, a flower delivery person rang the doorbell again. Shouya, who had been sleeping on the sofa, was startled awake. Rubbing his sleepy eyes, he went to open the door. It was roses again along with a card that contained another cheesy poem that stung his eyes; it must have been sent by Morina. A surge of anger ignited within him as he grabbed the delivery person and fiercely warned him not to send any more flowers or he would beat him up. 0

The delivery person fled in fear. 0

Fuming with rage, Shouya turned around and was taken aback to see An Xin Ya standing behind him. Without saying a word, he returned to his study; he had matters to attend to at the base today. 0

An Xin Ya was preparing to go to Maria for piano lessons when she saw his earlier fierce demeanor and felt disheartened. How could he treat others like that? The delivery person was just doing their job; they had done nothing wrong—how could he resort to violence? 0

Seeing his attitude made Xinya even angrier as she stormed out of the house. 0
