Grandma An also knew that Xinya was accompanied by Morina to England, but she did not understand why Wushuang wanted Morina to go along. However, since she had asked Wushuang for help, there must be a reason behind it.
Anyway, Xinya knew in her heart who she loved; she was well aware of her own feelings and knew how to choose the person she loved correctly.
As she sat on the plane and looked down through the window, she saw the sky of Las Vegas, blue and transparent, clear and pure. She felt as if she were wrapped in a huge blue transparent cocoon, yet at that moment, her mood was devoid of any excitement.
This reminded her of the time Brother Shouya took her to New York. The first time she sat on a plane, although she couldn't see anything then, she could feel his meticulous care for her. She was tired and leaned on his solid shoulder, sleeping for a full hour and a half while he maintained that position for just as long.
On the day they returned to Las Vegas, looking out of the airplane window, she could see the sky of New York, as clear as a sapphire. Brother Shouya sat beside her, quietly watching her excited expression.
But now sitting next to her was not Brother Shouya but Morina; that feeling was completely incomparable.
Morina sat beside her, quietly observing her. She kept gazing out of the window with a thoughtful expression, a hint of melancholy in her brows. He knew clearly in his heart that she was thinking about Brother Shouya.
When would he be able to occupy even a small part of her heart?
This thought seemed somewhat extravagant; how could it be possible? If it weren't for Wushuang's suggestion, he would never have had the chance to be alone with her and accompany her to his country for a getaway.
Regardless of Wushuang's intentions, he only wanted to be with Xinya every day, making her happy. Perhaps there would be an opportunity for a turn of events where she might choose him as her boyfriend, become his wife, or even his princess!
In Las Vegas, Yan Wushuang already knew that An Xinya and Morina were on today's flight and that they had boarded the plane. So during this time, he walked into the base to properly talk to Brother Shouya.
He opened the door and walked in; inside there was still a strong and unpleasant smell of alcohol mixed with mildew. He could hardly imagine how long Brother Shouya had been inside.
"I told you not to bother me anymore! Why are you still..." A drunken Shouya turned around to see Yan Wushuang and panic flashed in his eyes as he quickly looked away. He thought it was Faisal and did not expect it to be Yan Wushuang. He drunkenly asked, "What are you doing here?"
"Brother Shouya, can you please stop drinking? If you keep this up, you'll die..." Yan Wushuang frowned tightly as he looked at the bottles scattered all over the floor, on the table, in the cabinet, and on the bed. How could he treat himself like this?
"I don't need your sympathy; just leave me alone!" Shouya swayed forward a few steps, grabbed a bottle from his hand, tilted his head back to take another swig, and growled.
"Do you know that Xinya cries every day at home? She doesn't eat or drink; her eyes are swollen from crying. Can you bear to see her sad every day because of you?"
Hearing Wushuang's words, Shouya was taken aback. He thought of Xinya, who had cried into her noodles, and his heart ached. But remembering how she had treated him at the banquet only deepened his pain, making him feel as if his heart were being twisted by a knife. He said nothing and continued to drink, trying to drown his sorrows.
"Xinya loves you; she and Morina are just friends. Look at yourself! What are you doing? You're not even a man. When faced with a little setback, you fall apart so easily. Are you really going to hand over the woman you love to someone else so easily?" Yan Wushuang couldn't stand seeing him like this and shouted.
"Get out! I told you to leave..." Shouya, heavily intoxicated, couldn't comprehend her words and hurled the bottle in his hand against the wall.
Yan Wushuang gasped in shock at his behavior. Seeing him in such a state pained her deeply and filled her with anger. If it weren't for Rafas calling her back, she might have continued talking until he sobered up and stopped being so despondent.
"Xinya, Xinya..." After Wushuang left, Shouya continued drinking day and night, intoxicated and repeatedly murmuring Xinya's name.
In England, a Black Rolls-Royce was parked outside the airport entrance. The driver hurriedly got out of the car, took Morina's luggage from her hands, opened the trunk, and placed the luggage inside.
Morina opened the car door and gestured for An Xin Ya to enter with an elegant smile on her lips, looking at her with gentle eyes.
An Xin Ya calmly glanced at Morina before getting in. The interior was luxurious and high-end, exuding a faint fragrance of jasmine—the scent she loved most because it reminded her of someone special.
Following closely behind, Morina also got in with a smile on her lips. Looking at An Xin Ya sitting beside her, he thought that now that they were back in their own country, he would treat her well and ensure she had a beautiful and unforgettable time.
As they drove along, An Xin Ya gazed thoughtfully out of the window, oblivious to the scenery rushing by outside. Memories of Brother Shouya surfaced in her mind along with fragments of their time together. She wondered how he was doing now—was he still at the base drinking alone?
If it weren't for her actions, perhaps none of this would have happened. Maybe they could have reconciled and spent each day happily like before.
Her stubbornness had led to all this unhappiness.
Seeing her frown deeply while lost in thought, Morina realized she was reflecting on those unhappy memories again.
He silently resolved to pull her out of her sadness and bring back her beautiful smile. However, he also harbored selfish thoughts; he hoped that through this outing, his gentle charm could help her forget about that boy Shouya and turn towards him instead.
Yes, they have gone through many trials and tribulations, and this touching love is something that no one can tear apart. However, there seems to be nothing wrong with him pursuing the girl he likes; he has the right to chase after what he desires.
The car drove into the inner courtyard of the palace, and An Xin Ya finally came to her senses, looking at the magnificent scenery outside.
The entire British Palace is surrounded by iron railings. Outside the railings facing the main building of the palace, there is a square with the Victoria Gilded Statue Monument standing in the center, surrounded by four groups of stone sculptures.
The car came to a smooth stop, and at that moment, a well-dressed male guard approached to open the car door. An Xin Ya stepped out of the car, gazing at the luxurious and grand palace.
Soon after, a servant came out and retrieved luggage from the trunk, following behind Your Highness.
As Morina walked into the palace, the white lounge was decorated in white and gold. The interior featured exquisite furniture and luxurious carpets, mostly crafted by artisans from England and France.
A crystal chandelier hung in the throne room, with murals depicting scenes from great wars of the fifteenth century adorning the walls at the top.
The central throne is the one used by the current Queen during her coronation in 1953, along with her consort, the Duke of Edinburgh. The room also preserves Queen Victoria's coronation throne and four large chairs used during King George IV's coronation.
An Xin Ya curiously observed everything inside the palace, never expecting to witness such a spectacular and historic place.
Morina looked at An Xin Ya's curious expression and couldn't help but smile faintly.
Morina temporarily arranged for her to stay in the palace. They went up to the second floor, turned a corner, and entered a spacious, luxurious, and bright room where the servant placed her luggage.
"Xinya, this is your living space. If you need anything or have any requests, just let the servants know," Morina said gently to An Xin Ya.
"Thank you, Your Highness!" An Xin Ya replied respectfully and sincerely.
Morina looked at An Xin Ya; he did not want her to address him this way as it created distance between them. Ever since he confessed his feelings for her, she had begun to pull away from him, which he could sense.
For Morina, this was only temporary. Once she truly understood him, this distant relationship would gradually close in, making her want to know him even more. He thought confidently to himself.
"After a long day, you must be tired. Please rest well!" Morina said, then called for a servant to come in and gave her a few instructions before turning back to glance at An Xin Ya, finally willing to leave.
Once Morina exited the room, An Xin Ya felt her tense heart relax. She looked around the room, amazed at how spacious, bright, and luxurious it was. She had not expected the residence of Royal Nobility to be so beautiful.
At that moment, a woman dressed in a lovely maid's outfit entered and approached An Xin Ya respectfully. "Hello, Miss. My name is Kelly, and I am responsible for taking care of your daily needs."
"Kelly?" The name sounded so elegant and pleasant to An Xin Ya. Looking at Kelly, she appeared to be only about twenty-five years old, with snow-white skin and brown eyes; British people often had beautiful eyes. She smiled warmly and introduced herself, saying, "Hello, I am An Xin Ya. You can call me Xinya."
Kelly smiled back at An Xin Ya. This woman was truly beautiful—sweet and pure, with skin that was fair with a hint of pink, elegant eyebrows, and sparkling eyes—a stunning Eastern face.
She had returned in the carriage with Your Highness and was now residing in the royal palace, indicating that her relationship with the Third Prince was quite special.
"Miss Shinya, you must be tired as well. Why don't you take a bath first and then rest?" Kelly said as she walked into the bathroom to prepare water for An Xin Ya.
An Xin Ya smiled lightly as she looked around the splendid room adorned with gilded frames and tea tables, beautiful cushioned chairs, and footstools. Sitting on the comfortable soft bed, she felt overwhelmed by the luxury but sensed something missing in her heart—she couldn't quite put her finger on it. A hint of melancholy reappeared on her brow.
The water was ready, and Kelly came out to inform An Xin Ya that she could undress and bathe.
An Xin Ya stepped into the bathroom, which was also decorated in a classical luxurious style—with a crystal chandelier and an elegant combination of the bathtub and window curtains that showcased the bathroom's nobility!
This was indeed a place where royal nobles lived; even a simple bathroom resembled a living room.
