"Ma Jia, you can go back now." 0
Ma Jia shot him a glare. "Hey, I just helped you avoid a disaster." 0
"Is this how you repay me?" 0
Wang Zhan looked at him coldly. "Don't you want your sister's signed photo anymore?" 0
Upon hearing this, Ma Jia immediately stood up from the chair. "Fine, I'm leaving." 0
"Goodbye." 0
Ma Jia waved at me and left the hospital room. 0
I watched his retreating figure and couldn't help but sigh inwardly. 0
What a great guy. 0
Why doesn't Wang Zhan like him? 0
I went home to help Wang Zhan change his clothes. 0
"I washed all your clothes. Check if you need anything else, and I'll buy it for you." 0
"I'm good." 0
"Alright." 0
"Then let me wash your hair." 0
Wang Zhan didn't respond, which I took as consent. 0
I filled a basin with water in the bathroom and began washing Wang Zhan's hair. 0
The shampoo gently massaged his scalp amidst the rich foam. 0
His hair was thick and soft. 0
I lowered my head, carefully working through his hair. 0
Suddenly, Wang Zhan reached out and grabbed my wrist. 0
He held my right hand firmly in his palm. 0
I was taken aback for a moment. 0
Wang Zhan's hand was warm and dry. 0
Being held like this gave me an unexpected sense of security. 0
"Jiang Wan." 0
He suddenly called my name. 0
"Yes?" 0
"Nothing." 0

He released his hand again and returned to his original position. I knew he was just used to it this way. The next day, the chief physician came with a large group of doctors for rounds. I saw that young doctor from yesterday once more. He was wearing a white coat, standing out in the crowd. He glanced at me casually and then looked away. Wang Zhan's attending physician chatted with him for a moment and then asked, "When can this patient be discharged?" "The day after tomorrow." "Good." After finishing the rounds, the attending physician left with the others. However, the young doctor stayed behind. He walked up to me and extended his hand, saying, "Hello, my name is Xu Zheng." "Hello." I shook his hand. "I am the blind date that Yuan Yuan introduced to you." He smiled at me. I was taken aback for a moment, and my face flushed red. Wang Zhan looked at us coldly and asked, "Do you know each other?" "Yes, he is the blind date that Yuan Yuan introduced to me," I quickly explained. On the day Wang Zhan was discharged, Marin also came. She stayed by Wang Zhan's side, chatting non-stop. Wang Zhan listened patiently, nodding from time to time. Marin's hand rested on his arm, and he did not push her away. I was busy running around with his discharge papers, paying fees and getting medications. Watching their sweet interaction made me feel a twinge of sadness. I was working so hard here just to pave the way for their romance. As I squeezed through the crowd, I suddenly realized that my health insurance card was missing. 0

I suddenly panicked. What should I do? I looked around, not knowing where to find my insurance card. 0

"Jiang Wan?" 0

I heard someone calling my name. Turning around, I saw Xu Zheng. I felt like I had found a savior. 0

"Dr. Jiang, it seems I've lost my insurance card." 0

"Don't worry." 0

"I'll help you look for it." 0

Xu Zheng called over a few nurses to help me find the card. Soon enough, it was located. 0

"Miss Yao, is this your card?" 0

A nurse held up the card and asked me. 0

"Yes!" 0

I gratefully took the card from her. 0

"Thank you all." 0

"It's nothing," Xu Zheng smiled. 0

"I'll take you to handle the discharge procedures." 0

"Okay." 0

He led me around, helping me run back and forth to get the forms. His gentle consideration warmed my heart. I seemed to have developed feelings for this boy. 0
