"You killed Li Xingyu; do you think the Li Family will still recognize you?"

But no one paid him any attention.
Li Xingyu and I left the interrogation room.
"Should we go see Wang Qiling?" I asked.
"No," Li Xingyu replied indifferently.
We both fell silent.
I felt a bit awkward, not knowing what to say.
"You said yesterday that you would take me home for dinner?" Li Xingyu suddenly asked.
"Yeah," I nodded. "But my dad is furious about your family situation. He told me to quietly break up with you and not hold the wedding."
"No way," Li Xingyu frowned. "How can I quietly marry you?"
"Don't rush," I patted his hand. "Let's wait until my dad calms down."
"No," Li Xingyu shook his head again. "I need to make some arrangements."
"What arrangements?" I asked, confused.
"Nothing, let's talk about it in a few days," Li Xingyu said.
"What can you arrange now?" I couldn't help but retort. "You should be taking care of yourself!"
"You know how I am right now," Li Xingyu said pitifully. "It makes me sad when you say that."
How could I feel sorry for him?
I was worried about myself!
If something happened to him, I'd be left alone!
"Okay," I took a deep breath and smiled. "Once you're better, you can arrange whatever you want."
"Alright," Li Xingyu nodded. "I will get better as soon as possible."
