Kundalin led them through narrow alleys to a stone sculpture of Lord Shiva. The statue stood quietly on a small altar surrounded by candlelight and fresh flowers, its four arms holding different symbolic items, with a serene and majestic face. 0

Kundalin slowly approached, raising his hand to show everyone. His ring finger was missing, a ritual that every assassin must undergo, symbolizing the honor and burden of becoming an assassin. 0

"This is our faith and oath, as well as the symbol of our organization. The missing ring finger reminds us that some things cannot be made whole, just like truth and justice. But we will pursue them with our lives and prove them through action," Kundalin said solemnly. 0

Shiva and the other disciples, after listening, placed their hands on their chests and gazed firmly at Kundalin. Together, they slowly recited the ancient and sacred oath: "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." 0

This oath holds a special significance within the Assassin Brotherhood, reminding each assassin that the world is complex and ever-changing. Only by maintaining an open mind and not being bound by form can one approach the truth. 0

Kundalin nodded, seemingly satisfied with their performance. He turned around and once again looked at the statue of Lord Shiva, as if engaging in a silent conversation with it. 0

"Now, I will lead you through basic assassin training. Stay close to me and don't fall behind," Kundalin's voice had no fluctuation, but it was enough to make everyone feel a sense of tension. 0

Before everyone was ready, Kundalin had already swiftly moved. His body lightly jumped onto a low wall and then quickly flipped over. His movements were so smooth and precise that even the young, strong apprentices couldn't keep up with his speed. 0

Shiva and the other disciples gritted their teeth and chased after with all their might. They leaped onto rooftops, darted through narrow alleys, and even had to scale a few stone carvings and small lakes. The entire village seemed like their training ground, and they moved through it like phantoms. 0

Kundalin, despite his old age and snowy white hair, was unaffected in his stride. His speed and agility were unbelievable, as if he were a warrior who had already reached the pinnacle of his training. 0

After a tiring chase, Shiva and the other apprentices finally arrived at the secret training ground of the Assassin organization, panting heavily. As they looked up, they saw that Kundalin had been standing there for a while, looking unperturbed. 0

"It seems you still need more training. Youth does not mean everything; skill and experience are the key," Kundalin said calmly, his voice devoid of any mockery, only pure instruction. 0

The apprentices nodded one after another, knowing that Kundalin was right. Even youth and strength may not necessarily make up for lack of experience. 0

"Shiva, come and demonstrate a set of close-range assassination combos for us. Other apprentices, pay attention as well. This is also a learning opportunity for you." Kundalin looked firmly at Shiva. 0

Shiva walked up to a dummy, took a deep breath, and then swiftly launched into a series of movements. He first stabbed the dummy in the throat with a dagger, quickly withdrew it, then turned and forcefully struck the dummy's abdomen with his knee, and finally used all his strength to stab the dummy in the heart. 0

The entire process took less than three seconds, with smooth and rapid movements. 0

Shiva listened carefully to Kundalin's comments and nodded. "Overall, the movements are good, but there are a few areas that need improvement. First, you should pay more attention to controlling the force when striking the throat, as excessive force can provoke the enemy's counterattack. Second, the force of the knee strike could be stronger to effectively unbalance the opponent. However, overall, it's well done. Keep it up." 0

"Okay, let's have the other apprentices give it a try. Shiva, come with me, we'll do some sparring training," Kundalin said firmly. 0

The other apprentices walked up to the dummies for close combat practice, while Shiva followed Kundalin to another training area. 0

Two people stood in the center of the practice area, Kundalin smiled and looked at Shiva: "Are you ready?" Shiva nodded, and then the two quickly distanced themselves and began their sparring training. 0

Kundalin's movements are faster than Shiva's, but Shiva is not being overwhelmed. He blocked Kundalin's attack with a dagger and then launched a counterattack. 0

Kundalin easily dodged Shiva's attack and then lightly struck Shiva's shoulder, implying that if it were real, it would cause serious injury. 0

"Shiva, your performance has always been excellent, but I feel like your mind is elsewhere. Is something troubling you?" Kundalin dodged Shiva's sword attacks while expressing a hint of concern in his tone. 0

"Master, lately I've been feeling uneasy, like something major is about to happen. I don't know what it is, but it's been distracting me," Shiva revealed his confusion after blocking Kundalin's next attack. 0

Kundalin nodded, slightly deflecting Shiva's weapon with a dagger, then stepped back to create some distance. "I understand how you feel. Sometimes, intuition tells us things that reason cannot explain. But remember, an assassin must learn to control their emotions, to remain calm and focused even in the face of uncertainty." 0

Shiva, after evading a direct attack to the chest from Kundalin, respectfully responded, "I understand, mentor. I will strive to control myself and not let this feeling affect my judgment and actions." 0

"Very well. Let's continue," Kundalin said with a smile, then launched a series of rapid and deadly attacks, forcing Shiva to defend with full concentration. 0

The weapons of both sides cut through the air, emitting crisp metallic collisions. With superb martial skills and seasoned experience, Kundalin completely controlled the battle, but he was also satisfied with Shiva's performance. 0

The training was very intense, but Shiva felt that even in this highly concentrated state, he could not completely eliminate the unease in his heart. This made him more certain that the feeling of unease must be related to some major event that was about to happen. 0

Finally, Kundalin suddenly sheathed his sword and gave Shiva a reassuring look. "Well done, we'll stop here for today. But no matter what happens, never ignore your intuition; it may be one of your most powerful weapons." 0

Shiva nodded and sheathed his sword. He knew that this training held special significance for him, not only as physical exercise, but also as a stirring of the soul. He was more convinced than ever that there would be even more severe trials awaiting him in the future, and he must be fully prepared. 0
