Mario turned around, his voice echoing like thunder in the square, commanding, "Execution! Let justice be served!" His words instantly captured everyone's attention, turning the crowd's noise into a roar, with everyone holding their breath, their eyes fixed on every movement at the guillotine.
The executioner stood beside the guillotine, his figure appearing particularly solemn and ruthless in the sunlight. He tightly gripped the pull cord of the activator, feeling the weight of Mario's command. The surrounding air seemed to have frozen, leaving only the sound of heartbeats and breath echoing in the ears.
With a loud bang, the executioner pulled the rope with force, causing the huge and sharp blade to instantly slide down from above with overwhelming force and speed, heading straight for the old man's neck. In that instant, time seemed to freeze, and all eyes were focused on the impending blade.
The sound of the blade meeting wood echoed through the square, piercing and final. As the blade smoothly passed through, ending a life, it also left a deep impression in the hearts of the crowd. In that moment, it was not just the life of an old man being taken, but also another display of Mario's power and control.
The crowd let out bursts of screams and commotion in shock, some cheering, believing that justice had been served, while others silently questioned in their hearts, is this really justice? Princess Peach's reaction further reinforces this festive attitude, as her smile, even if concealed, reveals complicity and enjoyment of this atrocity.
Mario said to Luigi, "Damn, that was so awesome. With that old bastard dead, I feel so much better." This statement exposes their darkness and callousness. They view an old man's death as a game, a form of entertainment, reaching the extreme of disregard and indifference towards human life. This is not only the greatest disrespect for the deceased, but also a serious trampling of the moral and human bottom line of the entire society.
