I was puzzled. "What's wrong?"
He smirked at me, "Sister, I can't hold back anymore."
"?"
I was taken aback for a moment, still processing his words when he suddenly leaned in and kissed my lips.
I was startled and quickly pushed him away. "Xiao Huai, what are you doing?"
"Kissing you," he said without hesitation, leaning in again.
This time, his kiss was deeper.
I struggled to breathe as he kissed me, my lips even getting bitten.
In a fit of anger, I pushed him away with force. "Are you out of your mind?"
He squinted his eyes, a lingering smile on his face:
"Sister, you're just too delicious."
My face turned bright red. "Who taught you this?"
"I learned it myself," he tilted his head,
"Sister, I've held back for six years; I got too impulsive."
My cheeks were burning, and I had no idea what to say.
Six years...
He took me out to eat and then drove me home.
At my doorstep, just as I was about to go inside,
he suddenly grabbed my hand:
"Sister, I have nowhere to go."
"?"
I looked at him in confusion.
"I have no place to stay," he said with a pitiful look,
"Can you take me in?"
I frowned. "You're lying."
"I didn't lie to you," he said, lowering his gaze. "Because of the engagement, I had a falling out with my family, and they kicked me out."
I was half convinced. "Sister, we are both pitiful people and should rely on each other." He looked at me with intense eyes.
After thinking for a few seconds, I finally nodded. "Then you can sleep on the sofa."
"I don't want to," he shook his head. "Sister, my back is injured; I can't sleep on the sofa."
I glared at him. "Then go to a hotel."
"But..." he blinked, "I don't want to sleep alone."
I was speechless for a while before asking, "How can you sleep alone?"
He tilted his head and thought for a moment. "Sister, why don't you hold me while I sleep?"
I considered it and finally nodded. "Okay."
His eyes lit up as he pushed me against the wall.
I gasped, and in the next second, he kissed my lips.
"Mm..." I couldn't catch my breath and pushed him away with all my strength.
His eyes were misty as he said, "Sister, I'm feeling uncomfortable."
Following his gaze downward made my cheeks flush instantly.
"Sister, please help me, okay?" His voice was hoarse.
I bit my lip and reached out my hand.
"Ah..." He gasped, "Sister, be gentle."
A few minutes later, I really couldn't take it anymore and just threw the thing to him.
He smiled and said, "Sister, I feel so happy."
"Shut up!"
"Sister, I haven't done this in six years."
I suddenly felt a bit guilty.
He held my hand and said, "Sister, could you take the initiative?"
After some back and forth, he finally let go.
He held me contentedly and fell asleep shortly after.
I looked at his sleeping face, feeling a wave of softness in my heart.
At that moment, it felt like I was embracing a late blooming youthful romance.
Xiao Huai's words struck me like a jolt, as if an electric current had passed through me, leaving me frozen in place.
His words carried an undeniable seriousness that I couldn't easily dismiss. I turned to face him and saw the determined light in his eyes.
In that moment, time seemed to stand still; everything around us blurred until it was just the two of us.
His gaze made my heart race and filled me with unease. I didn't know how to respond to this sudden confession and could only stand there, overwhelmed with mixed emotions.
