Although Reiko did not understand Jian Ming's deep love, since the person Jian Ming loved was someone else, she could only wish him well. 0

Jian Ming's confession had not been successful, but Reiko did not dwell on it. After feeling down for a few days, she returned to her usual self, joking and laughing with her classmates in the classroom or hallway, not letting heartbreak bring her down. 0

However, seeing Jian Ming becoming more and more solemn each day made Reiko a bit worried about him. She knew that Jian Ming was trying to gather information about Shaw Min and how to contact her. He had asked many high school classmates, but the answers were always the same: they didn't know; Shaw Min had not been in touch with them. 0

Reiko understood that this was Shaw Min's intention. Shaw Min had instructed almost every classmate who had contacted her not to share any information with Jian Ming. Yet, seeing him in a state of worry and anxiety every day made Reiko feel sympathetic. 0

That day, although winter had just begun, the streets of Beijing were already biting cold, the trees were bare, and the sunlight outside struggled to break through the clouds. 0

Reiko sat by the window, absentmindedly gazing at a Phoenix Tree outside. A withered leaf hung from a branch, swaying back and forth, much like Reiko's current mood. 0

She held a crumpled piece of paper in her hand. 0

As class time approached, Reiko finally mustered the courage to walk over to Jian Ming's seat. 0

"What's up?" Reiko's face flushed red as she stood in front of Jian Ming, whose expression turned curious. "You’re not going to confess again, are you?" 0

Reiko shot him an angry glare while still blushing in front of him. 0

He reached out his hand toward Reiko's forehead. "Are you sick?" he asked with a teasing smile. 0

He had never seen Reiko, who was as healthy as an ox, suffer from any serious illness. Occasionally she would have a headache or catch a cold, but a single sneeze would fix that. She had always been lively like a rabbit escaping from its cage. So Jian Ming did not believe that she was actually sick. 0

Sure enough, Reiko swatted Jian Ming's hand away with such force that it was clear she was not unwell at all. 0

"Can I just touch it? I'm checking if you're sick, you ungrateful person." Jian Ming exaggeratedly grinned, pretending to be in pain, and looked up at Reiko. 0

"You are the one who's sick! Lovesickness, the hardest kind to cure." As she spoke, Reiko tossed the crumpled note onto Jian Ming's desk. 0

Looking at the wrinkled paper in front of him, Jian Ming wore a mischievous smile and curiously asked, "What is this? A love letter? Or a confession? If it's a confession, I won't read it. Your confession is more like a challenge." 0

The classroom was noisy, but only a few classmates heard their conversation. Those few exchanged knowing smiles. They all knew that Reiko and Jian Ming were from the same place and were classmates. They also knew that Reiko liked Jian Ming, so they were somewhat entertained by the situation. 0

Reiko said nothing and walked away angrily after throwing down the paper ball. Jian Ming curiously opened the crumpled note and unfolded it. The note contained the words "Guangdong Province," "Shenzhen City," "Futian District," along with a message of blessing. Jian Ming was overjoyed! This was Shaw Min's address! He gratefully looked towards Reiko, who was also looking back at him. Jian Ming clasped his hands in thanks to Reiko and made an "OK" gesture before quickly jotting down the address. 0

As the year drew to a close, Shaw Min received a letter from Jian Ming. The letter was short, but its brief words conveyed everything Jian Ming wanted to express: he loved An Shaomin, and no matter what had happened in her life, he would not change his mind. Even if the road ahead was filled with storms and mud, he would walk through it with her. 0

After reading Jian Ming's letter with tears streaming down her face, Shaw Min carefully folded it back up and gently placed it in an envelope, tucking it under her pillow. 0

"Thank you, Jian Ming," Shaw Min whispered softly. Yes, in An Shaomin's heart, regardless of whether Jian Ming could walk through storms with her in the future, she believed that when he wrote this letter, his heart was sincere, and that was enough! 0

Not long after, Shaw Min was promoted to team leader. She wrote to An Shaojie to inform him that the Spring Festival was the busiest time at work and that overtime pay was particularly high. She decided not to go home for the New Year as she wanted to earn more money. She hoped An Shaojie would study hard so that he wouldn't have to worry about college tuition in the future; she would take care of everything. She also mentioned that outside places valued education and ability highly, and if An Shaojie went to college in Shenzhen in the future, he would surely achieve something. 0

Along with her letters, Shaw Min occasionally sent money to An Shaojie to help him focus on his studies. 0

During the New Year, Shaw Min even had classmates who were going home for the holidays bring back some money for her. 0

"How is Shaw Min doing in Shenzhen?" Bai Cuifen missed her greatly. Seeing her classmates deliver money from Shaw Min made her unable to hold back her tears. 0

"Don't worry, Your Highness, Shaw Min is doing well in Shenzhen. Among the classmates who went with us, her situation is the best now. The boss values her and has promoted her to team leader, and she even got a raise. Shenzhen places great importance on ability, and Shaw Min is the most capable among our classmates. She is meticulous and responsible, and everyone in the factory likes her." 0

"Really?" Bai Cuifen wiped her tears and smiled again. 0

An Shaojie, who was beside her, said, "Is that so, Mother? Sister is doing very well; she often writes to me." 0

"Oh, that's good, that's good." Bai Cuifen nodded repeatedly in happiness. 0

Shaw Min was the person An Shaojie cared about and worried about the most. Knowing that his sister was doing well in Shenzhen, An Shaojie devoted all his energy to studying. 0

The sophomore year quickly passed, and An Shaojie and Qinglan would soon enter their sophomore year. 0

Before entering sophomore year, there would be a summer vacation where the school conducted a division exam for arts and sciences. An Shaojie and Qinglan naturally chose to study science. Since their class (1) was a key Experimental Class, most of the students chose to study science as well, so their class did not get rearranged like other classes. 0

Thus, until they graduated from high school, Qinglan and An Shaojie remained in the same class. However, An Shaojie always ignored her and regarded her as a passerby. 0

After closing off his heart, An Shaojie opened his diary several times, wanting to write something or send a letter to Lin Xi. But each time he picked up the pen, he ultimately put it down again because he didn't know where to start or what to say, locking the diary back in the box. 0

Qinglan wasn't unable to think of what to say to Lin Xi; rather, she wanted to know Lin Xi's news too much and had so much to tell her. Especially since her relationship with An Shaojie had fallen into an irreconcilable deadlock, which made her very frustrated. She really wanted to confide in Lin Xi. However, she did not have Lin Xi's contact information. 0
