Jiang Liuying would not come all this way every day to see Mosen. Mosen immediately grinned and said, "Then how about I come over to see you every day?" 0

"Please, with your lazy self," Jiang Liuying scoffed. "Starting next semester, I’ll be busy reviewing for the graduate entrance exam. Where would I find the time to run back and forth?" 0

"Then, would you be willing to be with me every day?" Mosen still wore a playful grin, wrapping his arms around Jiang Liuying's waist. "As long as you agree, we can figure something out." 0

Jiang Liuying elbowed Mosen: "Please, everyone knows about your little tricks and schemes." 0

Mosen pulled Jiang Liuying into his embrace and sat on the edge of the bed, placing her on his lap while teasingly asking, "So what do you think of my little tricks and schemes?" 0

Jiang Liuying blushed and quickly escaped from Mosen's arms. "Bad tricks and bad schemes." 0

Mosen burst into laughter; he loved teasing Jiang Liuying. Despite her usual icy demeanor that suggested she understood the ways of the world, she was actually quite a shy and innocent girl at heart. She was especially unaccustomed to sweet talk; whenever Mosen said something slightly flirtatious, she would blush and shy away, making him feel both love and frustration. 0

What made Mosen feel even more conflicted was that due to her shyness and conservativeness, she had almost never said a sweet word to him. Sometimes this made him feel like he wasn’t experiencing the sweetness of being in a relationship, yet he thoroughly enjoyed her carefree approach to love. 0

"Are you willing to be with me?" Mosen persistently asked. 0

"Well, I won’t come here every day looking for you," Jiang Liuying indirectly answered Mosen. 0

"So if I came to see you every day, you'd still want to be with me?" Mosen teased with a mischievous smile in his eyes, as if he was determined to extract her true feelings. 0

"I wouldn't want to be with you and still be in a relationship! You idiot!" Jiang Liuying shot him an angry glare while making the bed. 0

Feeling a rush of affection, Mosen sweetly hugged Jiang Liuying's waist and whispered in her ear, "I have a great idea that doesn’t require us to go through such a long journey but can solve our problem of seeing each other every day." 0

"What a good idea, let's take a look." Jiang Liuying was somewhat skeptical that Mosen would have any good ideas. 0

"Let's rent a house," Mosen said. "We can rent a place near the campus, so you won't have to run back and forth every day. I can handle the commute since I have fewer Professional Courses and more outdoor sketching. My schedule is flexible, so I have time to travel." 0

Mosen looked at Jiang Liuying with hopeful eyes. 0

Liuying paused her actions, seemingly contemplating and weighing the options. 0

"Also, starting next semester, we need to review for the graduate entrance exam. By senior year, we’ll be in full preparation mode, and we definitely need a stable place to study. It wouldn't work if you're studying at the main campus while I'm here," Mosen added quickly as he noticed Liuying hesitating. 0

"If I study like that, I won't do well because I'll be thinking about you. Is that okay?" Mosen pouted playfully. 0

Liuying turned around and pushed Mosen away. "You're always scheming with your little tricks." 0

Mosen scratched his head and chuckled, "You figured out my little plan." 0

While continuing with her tasks, Liuying said seriously, "Let's discuss this later. I'll come over to your place for a while first, and if it really becomes too difficult, we can reconsider." 0

Hearing that Jiang Liuying would come over to him, Mosen's heart soared. It was clear that she still liked him. 0

At the same time, he silently told Liuying, "Let it go, darling. I won’t make you run over here every day; if anyone has to suffer, it should be me. I'd rather come see you every day." 0

After returning from Mosen's place, Liuying did not head straight back to her dorm but wandered around near the school. 0

Mosen was right; next semester they would both be preparing for the graduate entrance exam. If they weren't together, it would indeed make them miss each other. If they wanted to be together every day, running back and forth would not be worth sacrificing either of their time. Renting a house nearby for studying was indeed a good idea. 0

The reason she didn't agree to him earlier was that she indeed had some concerns in her heart. 0

Having been in a relationship with Mosen for so long, she knew his thoughts well. However, in Jiang Liuying's heart, there was always an insurmountable bottom line: love could only be love. As long as they had not entered the hall of marriage, that bottom line she upheld could not be crossed. 0

Usually, their relationship was fine; they would hold hands and stroll around campus, occasionally finding a dark corner for some intimate gestures like kissing or hugging, which she did not reject. But any further transgressions were not only due to her insistence and refusal but also because there were no opportunities that aligned perfectly. 0

However, if they rented a place, then the chances would increase. Liuying was concerned that she might lose control under Mosen's advances, which was an outcome she did not want. Rational as she was, she never liked situations that were beyond her control. 0

Although there were some contradictions in her heart, Mosen's words still held some reference value. After getting off the car, Jiang Liuying began to implement his plan. At the very least, she should first scout out a place and reserve an apartment; they could reassess the situation next semester. Otherwise, when the new semester started, many students preparing for exams would be renting places outside, making housing around the school scarce and difficult to secure. 0

Jiang Liuying walked through the streets until night fell and finally found a rental property. After negotiating a price with the landlord and stepping outside, the lights had already begun to glow. 0

Just as she entered the cobblestone alley, she received a call from Mosen asking if she had eaten yet. 0

Eating? Liuying thought to herself, not even knowing where to put it! 0

She wedged her phone between her shoulder and ear while weakly talking to Mosen and rummaging through her bag for her gloves. 0

Outside was silent, the air cold as if it had frozen over, but under the dim light, snowflakes were gently falling. 0

Her hand holding the phone felt painfully cold. After pulling out her gloves, Jiang Liuying continued to hold the phone with her ear while hurriedly putting her hands into the gloves. Suddenly, around a corner, two people appeared out of nowhere. Jiang Liuying nearly collided with one of the men; she quickly sidestepped to avoid him, but his body brushed against her elbow, almost causing her phone to slip from her ear and fall to the ground. 0
