Li Ming felt that his position in the company was becoming increasingly unstable. Xiao Li and Xiao Wang stood nearby, wearing smug smiles. Xiao Li walked over and patted Li Ming on the shoulder, feigning concern as he said, "Li Ming, you need to work harder; don't let manager Liu down."
"Yeah, we are really looking forward to seeing your progress," Xiao Wang chimed in, his tone dripping with sarcasm.
Li Ming suppressed his anger and replied coldly, "Don't worry, I will do my best."
"Do your best? With you?" Xiao Li scoffed. "Li Ming, you should face reality; no one in this company will wait for you to improve slowly."
Grinding his teeth, Li Ming was filled with anger and helplessness. He knew he had no place in this company anymore, but he was unwilling to give up just like that.
One afternoon, while eating lunch in the company cafeteria, Li Ming sat in a corner quietly eating his meal. Suddenly, he heard laughter and looked up to see Xiao Li and Xiao Wang approaching him with a few colleagues.
"Li Ming, eating alone?" Xiao Li asked loudly, his tone full of mockery.
Li Ming ignored them and continued to eat.
Xiao Wang walked over and deliberately spilled his drink into Li Ming's lunch box, laughing as he said, "Oops, sorry! My hand slipped."

Xiao Li and Xiao Wang were momentarily intimidated by Li Ming's presence and fell silent, leaving in frustration.
However, as time passed, Li Ming's situation at the company became increasingly difficult. His work was continuously reduced, and Liu Yi even began to find reasons to criticize his performance.
"Li Ming, this report is poorly done; rewrite it," Liu Yi said coldly, throwing a document onto Li Ming's desk.
" manager Liu, this report was done according to your requirements; why should I rewrite it?" Li Ming asked in confusion, feeling helpless.
"My requirements? Do you have a problem with comprehension?" Liu Yi sneered. "You should learn more from Xiao Li and Xiao Wang; their reports truly meet the standards."
Li Ming felt a surge of anger, but he knew he couldn't change Liu Yi's opinion and could only silently accept this unfair treatment.
