Ouyang Su could feel how much pain he was in, but all of this was self-inflicted.
"Leave this place. She no longer needs you; she doesn't need anyone now," Ouyang Su's tone became calm.
Yan Yi Bai, however, refused to leave and was becoming emotionally unstable.
He even lashed out at Ouyang Su, who had come forward to pull him away.
"Why? Since you are Ruo Yun's doctor and know all of this, why didn't you tell me earlier?"
Faced with Yan Yi Bai's questioning, Ouyang Su thought he was acting like a madman.
He pushed Yan Yi Bai away forcefully and shouted, "Are you out of your mind? If I had known you were the young master of the Yan Family, if I had known you had the money to save Ruo Yun, would I have not sought you out? At that time, I thought you were just a pauper from the mountains. How was I supposed to find you?"
After cursing, Ouyang Su tried hard to calm himself down. "I don't have the mood to argue with you here. Just get out."
Ouyang Su glanced at the time and felt anxious; he needed to make sure Yan Yi Bai left quickly.
Seeing that he couldn't control Yan Yi Bai, Ouyang Su had no choice but to call two doctors and bring a sedative to give him an injection forcibly.
Soon, Yan Yi Bai calmed down and eventually fell into a deep sleep. The hospital doctors and nurses then moved him to another ward.
When Yan Yi Bai woke up, he was lying in a special care room in the hospital.
In the room, besides a few bodyguards beside him, there was also Su Xin'er.
"Yi Bai, you're finally awake. How do you feel now?" Su Xin'er hurriedly approached when she saw Yan Yi Bai open his eyes.
Yan Yi Bai's head hurt, and the light in the room made it even worse.
"Get everyone else out."
Without Su Xin'er needing to say anything, the other bodyguards left the room, leaving only Su Xin'er and Yan Yi Bai together.
Su Xin'er helped Yan Yi Bai sit up and carefully placed a pillow behind his back.
At this moment, Yan Yi Bai's mind started to clear up a bit.
Seeing that the person in front of him was Su Xin'er, Yan Yi Bai frowned. "What are you doing here?"
"I've been looking for you," Su Xin'er said with a hint of grievance. "I called you countless times, but you didn't answer. Then I went to your house and found out from your family that you were in the hospital, so I rushed over."
Seeing Su Xin'er reminded Yan Yi Bai of what happened last time at the themed bar.
He had actually made Su Ruoyun strip in front of everyone; her embarrassed expression was still vivid in his memory.
Yan Yi Bai pressed his head hard, feeling as if it would split open.
"Yi Bai, are you in a lot of pain? Let me give you a massage," Su Xin'er said as she approached to help him, but he pushed her away in disgust.
Su Xin'er looked hurt; he had never treated her this way before. "What’s wrong? Did I do something to upset you?"
She gazed at Yan Yi Bai with a pitiful expression.
His eyes lingered on her face. Although Su Xin'er and Su Ruoyun were half-sisters, they shared many similarities in their features.
At that moment, Yan Yi Bai finally understood why he had chosen to be with Su Xin'er in the first place.
"Yi Bai, what’s wrong?" Su Xin'er asked again.
"Do you know about your sister's situation?"
Su Xin'er was taken aback, not expecting him to suddenly bring up Su Ruoyun, and he seemed genuinely worried about her.
Though she cursed that bitch in her heart, she put on a pained expression. "I know. My sister is so pitiful. It's just that I gave her too little money back then; otherwise, I could have helped her get the surgery."
