With a face marked by wounds yet filled with a gentle smile, her body was wrapped in a blood-stained shirt, revealing alluring curves.
Su Ruo began to lose her fear of him. "Alright, I believe you. But can you let my friend go? We can talk things over."
Yan Yi Bai shook his head firmly.
Su Ruo was speechless, but she seemed to understand that there was no way for her to leave this place. Although Yan Yi Bai had been somewhat unhinged before, he at least appeared normal now.
Gradually dispelling her inner fears, she stepped out of the car.
When the people standing at the villa's entrance saw the woman getting out of the car, their eyes widened in disbelief.
The butler hurried forward. "Heavens, am I seeing things? Sir, is this..."
"I'm Su Ruo," she quickly introduced herself before Yan Yi Bai could speak.
Afterward, the butler and the servants surrounded them as they entered the house, some pouring tea while others brought fruit, all exceedingly attentive.
For five years, the family had rarely seen the young master smile, yet they witnessed Yan Yi Bai's silent but warm smile like sunshine. Even though the woman before them claimed her name was Su Ruo, everyone still regarded her as Su Ruoyun in their hearts.
Su Ruo felt a bit awkward being treated with such affection; she had never experienced anything like this before.
Especially Yan Yi Bai's way of hosting was unprecedented.
"Go prepare the guest room that has been set up; Ruo Yun will be staying here, and there will be one more person for meals," Yan Yi Bai instructed.
The butler immediately went to make the arrangements.
Once everyone else had left, only Su Ruo and Yan Yi Bai remained in the large living room.
Su Ruo spoke up, "It's not appropriate for me to stay here; I'm really not the Su Ruoyun you mentioned."
"You are; you just forgot," Yan Yi Bai replied confidently.
Su Ruo rolled her eyes in disbelief. "Why are you so stubborn?"
Yan Yi Bai, however, began to laugh lightly, filled with happiness and excitement. She hadn't died; she was sitting right in front of her.
"What are you laughing at? I'm really not Su Ruoyun."
"I'll contact a doctor shortly to examine you and help you remember who you are."
But as she said this, Yan Yi Bai's expression froze.
If she truly remembered who she was and what happened five years ago, would she hate herself?
Would she still like herself?
Watching Yan Yi Bai's expression shift from excitement to despondency, Ruo Yun began to suspect that there was definitely something mentally amiss with her.
"What is your relationship with that girl named Su Ruoyun?" Su Ruo asked curiously.
Otherwise, why would he be so obsessed with himself?
"These questions don't need my answers; you'll understand everything once you remember."
Yan Yi Bai stood up. "You rest here for a bit; I'll go upstairs to change."
Su Ruo nodded and watched him head upstairs.
After Yan Yi Bai's figure disappeared at the staircase, Su Ruo hurriedly took out her phone to call Ouyang Su.
The call connected, but no one answered.
Su Ruo was very worried.

Ouyang Su was shoved into a car and taken to a high-end apartment.
At a glance, it was clear that this was likely Yan Yi Bai's place. Ouyang Su plopped down on the sofa, lazily watching the two bodyguards who had brought him here.
Suddenly, Ouyang Su's phone rang. He clearly saw that it was a call from Su Ruo. As he reached for it, one of the bodyguards snatched it away.
