Since learning that Yan Yi Bai was likely dating a woman, Su Xin'er had been acting like a madwoman, following him every day.
She was fuming inside, thinking that if he knew who this woman was, he would definitely not let her off easily.
That day, after finishing work at noon, Yan Yi Bai hurriedly left the company. Judging by his cheerful demeanor, he must have been going on a date with someone.
Su Xin'er drove closely behind him, muttering, "Hmph, I don't believe I can't catch you, you scoundrel."
Yan Yi Bai stopped in front of a restaurant, which was a very upscale establishment.
After getting out of the car, the valet immediately took his keys to park the vehicle.
Once Yan Yi Bai entered the restaurant, Su Xin'er parked her car at the entrance. After handing her keys to the valet, she stealthily made her way inside.
She glanced around the first floor but didn't see Yan Yi Bai. She headed straight to the second floor. As she reached the glass staircase, she spotted Yan Yi Bai sitting in a private booth on the second floor with a woman.
Su Xin'er gritted her teeth in anger but didn't rush over immediately; instead, she quietly sat down at a nearby table.
"What do you want to eat?"
Yan Yi Bai's tone was very gentle, completely different from how he spoke to Su Xin'er.
"I don't mind, anything is fine for lunch. Why choose such a fancy place? We can just find somewhere casual to eat," Su Ruoyun said casually.
Yan Yi Bai disagreed, "This is my first time having a meal with you, so of course we should choose a nice place. After lunch, I'll take you to explore some other places."
Su Ruoyun was slightly taken aback. During their time together, she felt that Yan Yi Bai was a decent person; at least he kept his promises, even if it meant 'house arrest' in the villa.
He had never done anything inappropriate towards her and had always shown her great respect. The other family members in the villa were also very friendly.
Now, Yan Yi Bai no longer seemed like the neurotic person he once was. Su Ruoyun knew she had lost some memories and was aware that those memories were related to Yan Yi Bai.
That was why she stayed in Yan Yi Bai's villa, wanting to understand what her past self was like, and she was increasingly curious about the memories between herself and Yan Yi Bai.
However, no matter how much Su Ruoyun asked Yan Yi Bai, he refused to tell her directly. He always said, "Your memories need to be recalled by yourself."
"Aren't you going to work this afternoon?" Su Ruoyun asked after hearing Yan Yi Bai's words.
"I've already handled everything for the day in the morning. This afternoon, I'll take you to some familiar places; maybe you'll remember something. Besides, the weather is so nice today; you can't just stay cooped up at home or you'll get sick from boredom," Yan Yi Bai said as he looked at the menu, speaking calmly as if these things were perfectly normal for him.
But for Su Ruoyun, his gentle demeanor made her smile sweetly.
Yan Yi Bai ordered all of Su Ruoyun's favorite dishes. After they finished ordering, Yan Yi Bai asked Su Ruoyun if there was anywhere she wanted to go.
Su Ruoyun shook her head.
"Then I'll decide the afternoon's itinerary," Yan Yi Bai said with a smile.
Their relationship appeared warm and sweet, but Su Xin'er, sitting not far away, found it particularly disgusting.
