As soon as the Bandit Leader touched the orb, Li Ming felt a sudden surge of Spiritual Energy within him, as if he had been activated by some unseen force. That energy quickly coursed through his body, causing him to radiate a powerful wave of Spiritual Energy.
The Bandit Leader staggered back a few steps, fear etched on his face as he looked at Li Ming. "What the hell is this?"
Li Ming sensed the unusual abundance of Spiritual Energy inside him, feeling as though he had an endless supply of power. He realized that it was the orb's energy protecting him. He sprang to his feet, his eyes shining with fierce determination, and began to circulate his Spiritual Energy rapidly, fists clenched and ready for battle.
"You’re asking for death!" Li Ming shouted, gathering his Spiritual Energy into powerful beams of light that shot toward the bandits.
The Bandit Leader and another bandit stared in terror at Li Ming, feeling the overwhelming Spiritual Energy emanating from him. Their faces paled in disbelief; they never expected Li Ming to become so strong so suddenly.
"Attack! Let’s kill him together!" the Bandit Leader gritted through clenched teeth, swiftly forming hand seals as his own Spiritual Energy surged violently, launching himself at Li Ming.
The other bandit was equally unwilling to back down, brandishing his knife with Spiritual Energy coalescing along its blade, striking fiercely at Li Ming.
Li Ming quickly sidestepped the attack and countered with a punch, channeling his Spiritual Energy into a sharp beam of light that struck the Bandit Leader squarely in the chest. The impact sent the Bandit Leader flying backward, crashing heavily to the ground and spitting out blood.
"This is impossible... How did you become so strong?" the Bandit Leader gasped in terror, his voice trembling.
Li Ming coldly regarded him without answering. He knew he had to eliminate these bandits quickly and leave this place. He turned swiftly to face the other bandit’s assault.
The two engaged in a fierce battle, fists and feet colliding as Spiritual Energy surged around them. Li Ming felt an endless flow of Spiritual Energy within him, but he understood that it was the orb providing this strength; he needed to end this fight swiftly.
As the bandit's blade came slashing down, Li Ming dodged to the side and retaliated with a punch that struck the bandit's side. His Spiritual Energy surged into the bandit's meridians. The bandit cried out in pain, collapsing as his knife fell to the ground.
Li Ming didn’t give him a moment to recover; he unleashed another punch, sending a powerful beam of Spiritual Energy straight into the bandit's chest. The bandit was thrown back violently and crashed onto the ground, unable to rise again.
"You... you monster!" the Bandit Leader exclaimed in horror as he watched Li Ming, fear and despair filling his eyes.
Li Ming felt his entire body’s Spiritual Energy flowing rapidly, an inexhaustible source of power at his disposal. He knew this was his only chance; he had to eliminate these bandits to protect himself and the orb.
"This is what you brought upon yourselves!" Li Ming roared again, channeling his Spiritual Energy as he launched another barrage of powerful beams aimed directly at the Bandit Leader.
Realizing he could no longer evade, the Bandit Leader looked at Li Ming in desperation, attempting one last counterattack. But Li Ming's strikes were swift and fierce; beams of Spiritual Energy pierced through his defenses in an instant.
With a pained scream, the Bandit Leader was sent flying backward, crashing heavily onto the ground and coughing up copious amounts of blood. His gaze dimmed gradually until he finally succumbed to death.
Li Ming looked at the two corpses on the ground, filled with complex emotions. After defeating the two robbers, he stood in the night, feeling his strength rapidly fading. He gasped for breath, sensing his Spiritual Energy gradually calming down. However, when he glanced at the bodies on the ground, he was horrified to see them quickly turning into pools of blood.
"What is happening?" Li Ming thought in confusion, his gaze fixed on the spreading blood.
At that moment, two red orbs of light suddenly emerged from the blood, radiating a chilling malevolence. The red orbs hovered in the air for a moment before swiftly flying toward the Chaos Pearl on Li Ming's wrist.
"This..." Li Ming stared in astonishment at the bead on his wrist, watching as it began to emit a strong red light, as if absorbing the power of the two red orbs.
Suddenly, a sharp pain surged through him, and it felt as though all his strength was being drained away. He collapsed weakly to the ground, his consciousness starting to blur.
In his haze, Li Ming vaguely heard the bead emitting a deep voice, as if whispering something incessantly. The voice was filled with a thirst for battle and blood.
"Fight... more fighting... blood... we crave blood..." The whispers echoed in Li Ming's ears, sending chills down his spine.
"You... are about to become a Shura..." The voice carried an evil power that seemed intent on pulling Li Ming into endless darkness.
Li Ming felt his body weaken and become immobile. He knew he was in an extremely dangerous situation; if he did not wake up in time, he would be consumed by this evil force.
"I cannot... I cannot be controlled!" Li Ming shouted in his mind, struggling to stay awake.
"Prepare to become a Shura..." The voice continued with its sinister tone, threatening to drag him into eternal darkness.
Li Ming sensed his strength dissipating rapidly; his consciousness grew increasingly hazy as he lay helplessly on the ground, feeling himself slipping into an abyss of darkness.
Just as he was about to lose consciousness, he faintly heard a strange and surprised voice coming from nearby.
"This person... actually possesses the Chaos Pearl?" The voice was filled with astonishment and confusion.
Li Ming lay powerless on the ground, everything around him becoming blurry as the last remnants of his awareness faded away. He felt all his strength completely vanish, plunging him into boundless darkness.
Not far away at the alley entrance stood a mysterious figure clad in a black robe, intently watching Li Ming lying on the ground. A flicker of surprise and confusion crossed his eyes before he quickly approached.
The mysterious figure knelt beside Li Ming and leaned down to examine him closely. He noticed that the Chaos Pearl on Li Ming's wrist was emitting a faint red glow, as if warning of something. His brow furrowed slightly, deep in thought.
"Why does this person possess such powerful Spiritual Energy?" the mysterious figure murmured to himself, a hint of puzzlement flashing in his gaze.
He reached out and lightly touched the Chaos Pearl, feeling the evil and powerful force emanating from it. Quickly, he withdrew his hand, a glimmer of determination flashing in his eyes.
"No matter what, this pearl must not fall into the hands of the wicked," the mysterious figure whispered, then extended a hand to help Li Ming up, cradling him in his arms, ready to take him away from this dangerous place.
Outside the alley, the night was deep and the moonlight faint. The mysterious figure swiftly disappeared into the darkness with Li Ming. He knew that this young man harbored a great secret, and he had to uncover the truth behind it all.
Li Ming awoke in an unfamiliar room, feeling his strength gradually returning. He opened his eyes to find himself lying on a soft bed in a simple yet clean room. His memories quickly returned to the scene before he lost consciousness: the robbers, the red light of the pearl, and the whispering voice.
"Where... am I?" Li Ming thought, filled with confusion as he tried to sit up, but still felt weak all over.
At that moment, the door to the room was gently pushed open, and a familiar figure walked in. Li Ming looked up in surprise to find that it was Master Han.
"Master Han?" Li Ming asked in astonishment, a mix of surprise and confusion in his eyes.
Master Han smiled slightly and nodded. "Li Ming, we meet again. It seems we are truly fated."
"What... is going on? How did I end up here?" Li Ming asked in bewilderment.
Master Han approached the bedside and said softly, "I was passing by and found you unconscious in the alley, so I brought you here to heal. I never expected we would meet again; it truly is fate."
Li Ming felt a wave of relief wash over him, but his heart was still filled with questions and gratitude. "Thank you for saving me, Master Han. If it weren't for you, I might not be alive."
