Three people walked cautiously, suddenly, the power in the entire building was restored to normal, and the momentary brightness made the three of them squint. They pressed tightly against the wall, the sudden brightness temporarily affecting their vision. Shin reacted quickly, placing a hand on president's shoulder, quietly but firmly instructing her and Huang Renjie to crouch down, avoiding exposure in the corridor. The three of them quickly crouched in a nearby corner, carefully observing their surroundings.
The restoration of power seemed to have not caused any other commotion, the building remained silent, but this silence was unsettling. Shin scanned the surroundings, confirming no immediate threat, then whispered to president and Huang Renjie, "It seems there's no other abnormality, but we still need to be cautious."
president and Huang Renjie nodded in agreement, and the three of them slowly stood up, readjusting their vision to adapt to the new lighting environment. Shin carefully took the lead, continuing to guide president and Huang Renjie towards the president's office. Shin and Huang Renjie immediately reacted, swiftly and instinctively overturning the sofas and tables in the room to turn them into makeshift cover. Taking position behind the cover, the two quickly raised their guns, aiming at the door.
At that moment, the figure of Minister of National Defense appeared at the door of the president's office. A smug smile hung on his face, as if everything was under his control. Behind him, a large group of heavily armed soldiers stood guard, their expressions serious as they aimed their weapons into the room.
"Oh, it looks like we have an unexpected guest!" The Minister of National Defense's tone carried a hint of mockery and disdain as his gaze swept across the room, finally resting on the President sitting in the chair. The President's hand still tightly gripped the red telephone receiver, but now his expression was grave.
Huang Renjie and Shin stared closely at the door, knowing that every step from here on out must be taken with extreme caution, as any wrong move could lead to irreparable consequences. The room seemed to be filled with the smell of gunpowder, with the possibility of an explosion at any moment.

The Minister of National Defense hesitated at the door, observing the situation inside president's office. His hand shook gently, seemingly trying to explain something. A hint of sarcastic smile appeared at the corner of his mouth as he spoke with a tone of weariness and determination: "Madam president, you should be very clear that I grew up on the battlefield. There, fighting and survival are the only true existence in this false world. Everything I have done is just to let this country return to reality, to return to the primitive law of survival."
President showed disdain and disgust on her face, gritting her teeth and revealing deep anger in her eyes. Meanwhile, Huang Renjie and Shin continued to stare at the Minister of National Defense and the soldiers behind him, knowing that this standoff could erupt into an uncontrollable melee at any moment.
