The group continued to follow the old man's beam of light, and the journey deeper into the underground gradually revealed its danger.

Xiao Jin immediately directed the team to launch the rescue operation, but at that moment, the figure in the black robe sensed the intrusion. He stopped chanting, turned around, and revealed the controlling black mist.
The figure in the black robe was clearly no ordinary enemy; his spells were both evil and powerful. Whenever an attack was about to reach him, he used the black mist to dispel it. He sneered and summoned more Necromancers from the black mist to resist the advancing rescue team.
The battle became unusually intense, and each confrontation made the tension in the air even more palpable. Xiao Jin's arrows were incredibly precise, hitting Necromancer's vital points every time, yet the cloaked figure seemed to continuously control the black mist and Necromancer, as if his power was endless.

Liufei's swordsmanship was agile and swift. He darted between Necromancer, like threading through the edge of death, striving to create opportunities for the team to break through.
Xiao Jin saw the situation was critical and decided to take a risky strategy. She shouted to Iron bull and Liufei, "Cover me, I'm going to shoot through that black mist!"
Iron bull and Liufei immediately intensified their attacks, drawing the attention of the cloaked figure, giving Xiao Jin the chance to prepare her ultimate arrow. Xiao Jin took a deep breath, focused all her spirit and strength, and placed the specially crafted arrow on the bow, which began to shimmer with an unusual light.
In a tense atmosphere, Xiao Jin released an arrow, which streaked across the battlefield like a meteor, heading straight for the dark-robed figure and his black mist. The arrow was filled with powerful celestial energy, instantly tearing through the black mist and striking the dark-robed figure in the chest.
The dark-robed figure looked on in terror as the arrow approached, attempting to cast a spell to block it, but it was all too late. The arrow pierced through his defenses, and the powerful impact knocked him to the ground, causing the black mist to dissipate.
As the cloaked figure fell, the power controlling the Necromancer also dissipated, causing the remaining Necromancer to lose control and become chaotic. The rescue team took advantage of the situation to suppress the remaining Necromancer, finally stabilizing the situation.
Liufei and Iron bull quickly stepped forward to restrain the cloaked figure.
Xiao Jin rushed to the stone platform and used her proficient unsealing technique to gradually remove the energy barrier array on the platform. Before long, Yunyi and Willow branches who were trapped on the stone platform were finally rescued.
Although Yunyi had sustained some minor injuries, upon waking up, he immediately checked on Willow branches' condition. At the critical moment when they were about to leave, Willow branches suddenly realized that her legs could not bear weight, and every step she took was excruciatingly painful, showing a look of agony on her face.
She tried to hide her discomfort and attempted to walk alone, but it was obvious that every step she took caused her unbearable pain.
Yunyi immediately noticed the abnormality of the Willow branches, disregarding his own fatigue and pain, he squatted down and said firmly, " Willow branches, don't force yourself, I'll carry you."

Iron bull and Liufei closely followed, staying alert and vigilant for potential dangers along the way. They ran through the winding underground passage and finally saw the light shining through the ground ahead.
On their way out of the underground cave, Yunyi quietly said to Willow branches, "Don't worry, we will soon be safely back on the surface. What you need most right now is rest."
Willow branches leaned against Yunyi's back, feeling his firm and warm support, and softly replied, "Thank you, Master Yunyi. With you here, I am not afraid."
The team quickly retraced their steps, but this time they were even more cautious to avoid another ambush. Yunyi and Willow branches were in the middle, escorted by Iron bull and Liufei, while Xiao Jin was responsible for guarding the rear.
After they left, a figure slowly rose from the floor, cloaked in black robes, with a mysterious face shrouded in shadow.
His eyes gleamed with indifference and disdain, holding a crystal ball emitting colorful light, murmuring to himself, "Everything is going according to plan."
