Liendel absentmindedly said, "You're talking about Aivino."
He suddenly snapped back to reality and quickly stopped his words.
According to the order, he was the first personal guard of the Queen, and the military duties that originally belonged to him had been handed over to Aivino. Therefore, Aivino must return to Home Planet, but there was no need for the Queen to know this.
However, Laya had already obtained the most crucial information, "Why are you leaving? Where are you going?"
She rolled out of bed and stumbled toward the door.
"Hey."
Liendel paused for a moment before chasing after her, only to see Laya collide with the newly arrived Aivino.
"What's with the Queen? Why are you running so fast?"
Aivino flashed his usual bright smile, casually pressing one hand on Laya's shoulder while scratching his messy black hair with the other. This was the first family member Laya had seen since hatching who smiled at her so actively.
But Laya lowered her head in fear; she did not sense any goodwill from him. Instead, she felt a terrifying emotion hidden beneath his smile that seemed repressed.
"By the way, there are some things I almost forgot to tell you."
A cold glint flashed in Aivino's sea-blue eyes. "You'd better not wander around too much; otherwise, there won't be any Zerg here to guarantee your safety. For the next few days, it will be Liendel who stays with you, but after a while, it might be my turn. However, if possible, I hope you can avoid disturbing me as much as you can."
Laya listened blankly to these cold words with her little face tilted up.
"I have no objections to you, but you always move around in my line of sight, which can be quite bothersome."
The newly born Queen finally felt something intuitively: her family members seemed to dislike her, and Aivino had stopped paying attention to her.
Turning to Liendel, she said, "You will temporarily hand over your military duties to me. I am about to return. For the next month, keep a close eye on the Queen."
As Aivino spoke, there was a warning and depth in his gaze.
On the Starship, Aivino spoke while subtly observing Laya from the corner of his eye.
He admitted that he had been a bit impulsive earlier; if the Queen were to release her Mental Link in anger, it wouldn't be easy to resolve.
Noticing Laya's gaze upon him, he awkwardly averted his eyes.
"There are no nutritional supplements for the larval stage prepared on the Starship, so I found a nutrient solution with higher nutritional value."
At the same time, he cursed himself internally: Wasn't it better to let her go hungry? Why did he have to care about her?
Forget it; he was still counting on the Queen to help him calm his raging Psychic Power. Although the Queen appeared to have entered her adolescent stage, she had only just hatched. If something went wrong again, it would be troublesome.
Laya was unaware of Liendel's complex thoughts; she simply stared at the nutrient solution for a few seconds before speaking in a slightly hoarse and weak voice, "Liendel, you all hate me."
She used an affirmative tone, tinged with unmistakable sadness.
Liendel felt a tremor in her heart.
Seeing that Liendel did not refute her words, Laya continued, "I have no impression of this world and don't know what happened between us before. It seems you also don't intend to tell me."
Liendel felt a heaviness in her chest. She had done nothing to offend them; everything was simply because she was the Queen.
For a moment, he questioned whether it was really right to treat such a young girl this way. Her identity alone negated everything, subjecting her to unfounded malice.
Laya was unaware of his thoughts; she clenched her fists and spoke from her heart: "When I met Liendel and Aivino, I felt a sense of closeness. So during our time together, I want to get to know Liendel and Aivino again. Is that okay?"
Perhaps feeling a bit embarrassed by her own words, the girl's fair cheeks flushed slightly, but her dark eyes sparkled with unwavering determination.
After a few seconds of silence, Liendel was the first to look away. "Whatever."
He stood up and walked to the door, then paused again. "The past has nothing to do with you; there's no need to dwell on it."
Laya's eyes brightened, feeling that Liendel had awkwardly agreed. Her heart finally eased as she sipped the nutrient solution from her cup.
Meanwhile, Liendel entered the cockpit. Before him was a beautiful planet dominated by green and blue hues; it was Sky Star, a habitable planet on the fringes of the Human Federation. The management here was relatively lax, making it easy to navigate through murky waters.
If all went well, they would be living here with the Queen for over a decade.
