Just as they were about to order another round of drinks, he suddenly frowned and said, "Wait, weren't we here to find the contact person for that mysterious figure? Where is he exactly?" 0

John awkwardly rubbed the back of his head and said, "Oh, right. He should be nearby. I forgot about the main purpose after coming in." 0

"Are you sure?" Taktron asked with doubt. 0

At that moment, a short man who had been sitting at the bar slowly turned around and said, "Is this Deathwing?" 0

The figure of the short man made John feel an indescribable unease, perhaps because of his outdated long robe or the unknown symbols tattooed on his brown skin. His hair was tightly pressed to his scalp, waxen yellow, and just long enough to cover his eyes. As he slowly turned around, his face was surprisingly calm, like a stone untouched by wind and rain. 0

Though his gaze was calm, it concealed a sharp and cold edge, as if everything was within his calculation. This demeanor made him particularly conspicuous in the dim light of the bar, like a stranger not belonging to this world. 0

"Calm down, we don't welcome any bloodshed here. I am the person you are looking for," the short man said slowly, his voice carrying a hint of authority. 0

John and Taktron exchanged a glance, both sensing the wariness and curiosity in each other's eyes. John still had his hand on the gun at his waist, feeling the cold hardness of the leather holster against his skin. He carefully observed every move the man made, searching for any potential threat. 0

"Who are you exactly? Why are you waiting for us here?" John asked, his tone filled with caution. 0

"I am Kiel. As for why I am waiting for you here, that is something we will discuss next. But first, you need to ensure that you can cooperate with me and not make this situation worse," Kiel replied. 0

Taktron couldn't help but ask, "Is all of this related to chaos?" 0

Kiel tightly closed his eyes, as if struggling with some inner turmoil, and then nodded slowly. 0

"Unfortunately, yes. And you—" he hesitated for a moment, then continued, "you may be the only hope to stop all of this." 0

At that moment, both John and Taktron understood that the mission was far more complex and dangerous than they had initially anticipated. They both had their doubts and fears, but they also realized that if they didn't take action, the entire Yakannix Planet, and even farther places, would face immeasurable threats. 0

"So, what do we do next?" John finally released his gun, apparently he had made a decision. 0

Kiel looked up, his gaze piercing through the dim light of the bar, and looked at John and Taktron. "The information I've received is not very optimistic. The Chaos Cult seems to have just completed a ritual. Our intelligence all points to them having summoned creatures from another world, but we're not sure where these creatures are hiding." 0

"What does that mean?" John asked, his tone filled with impatience. 0

"It means our top priority is to find their leader, a guy named Molochs (Morloxx), and kidnap him for interrogation. Only then can we understand their true purpose and find those summoned monsters for elimination," Kiel replied. 0

Taktron interrupted them, "If that's the case, I can try to infiltrate their communication network to see if I can find more useful information." 0

"Good idea," John nodded, "but it's risky. Once they find out, we'll lose the element of surprise." 0

"That's our only option," Kiel muttered, "If we don't act fast, who knows what they might summon." 0

John glanced at Taktron, then back at Kiel, "Alright, let's do it. Taktron, try to locate their leader. Kiel, you and I will coordinate the equipment and manpower. We need to be fully prepared." 0

John, after listening to Kiel's explanation, looked at him with a calm gaze, trying to detect any possible hidden information. He knew that in this dangerous line of work, one could not fully trust anyone, even those who paid them. 0

Kiel noticed John's suspicions and smiled, saying, "Oh, by the way, I have a way to solve your firepower issue. You don't have to worry during your reconnaissance and interrogation of the Molochs." 0

John furrowed his brow, "Oh? What's going on?" 0

"I've already been in contact with some weapons suppliers. Once the mission starts, they will provide the necessary equipment and ammunition. So, in terms of firepower, you can rest assured," Kiel explained confidently. 0

Taktron listened with great interest to all of this, and couldn't help but become even more curious about this Kiel. This person seemed to not only have abundant resources, but also appeared to be able to easily obtain various information and support. 0

Kiel continued, "In addition, about the down payment. The Phantom has already transferred two million funds to my account. If you don't believe it, you can check it now." 0

John glanced at Taktron, who immediately opened a small data tablet and quickly tapped a few times. In no time, Taktron nodded, indicating that the funds had indeed been received. 0

John turned back and looked at Kiel, "It looks like you're serious this time." 0

"I have always been serious, John," Kiel responded with a smile, but there was an unmistakable determination in his eyes. 0

John finally nodded and put away his doubts. If all of this was true, then this mission might be a rare opportunity for them. 0

"So, it's settled then. We'll proceed according to your plan," John finally said. 0

Kiel raised his glass with a smile, "Here's to a successful collaboration." 0

Three people clinked their glasses, each with different expectations and plans in their hearts, but at least in this moment, their goals were the same. 0
