After that special night, Bai Huaiyu and Jiang NanJin decided to celebrate their engagement with a long-awaited dream trip. The chosen destination was a distant land they had both longed for, a mysterious country filled with exotic charm and ancient legends.
The next evening, they chose a uniquely styled café, sitting by the window where the city lights twinkled outside, while warm lighting and soothing music filled the interior. Bai Huaiyu took out a beautifully bound notebook and a pen, while Jiang NanJin brought his tablet, which was already open to maps and some travel reference materials.
Bai Huaiyu said with great anticipation, "We are finally going to the place we have always dreamed of. Is there anywhere special you want to visit or anything you want to do?"
Jiang NanJin smiled slightly, his gaze landing on a picture of an ancient castle on the tablet. He said, "I have always been interested in the ancient legends of this country, especially the one about the ancient castle that is said to hold endless treasures. We could plan to explore it."
Bai Huaiyu's eyes sparkled with excitement as she quickly jotted down the idea: "Exploring ancient castles sounds really fun. We can be like adventurers, searching for those forgotten secrets."
As their discussion grew more animated, Bai Huaiyu continued to add new thoughts and plans to her notebook, her face radiating childlike joy. Jiang NanJin occasionally swiped through his tablet, looking for more information about their destination, his expression a mix of anticipation and caution.
Suddenly, Jiang NanJin looked up at Bai Huaiyu, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "You’re not planning to take the whole household with you on this adventure, are you? With the way you're acting, it seems like you're going to settle down in an ancient castle."
Bai Huaiyu was taken aback by his words and quickly realized that she might have been a bit too enthusiastic. She couldn't help but chuckle lightly, feeling a bit embarrassed as she replied, "Maybe I really am a little too excited, but after all, this is our dream journey. We have to be well-prepared."
After hearing this, Jiang NanJin's smile deepened as he gently took Bai Huaiyu's hand. "Don't worry, as long as I'm here, even if we really get lost, I will help you find your way home. As long as we are together, we can adventure anywhere."
Bai Huaiyu responded with a smile. Then she added, "I also want to go to the beach there to watch the sunrise. I've heard that the beach is very beautiful, and the first rays of sunlight in the morning are especially enchanting."

Jiang NanJin looked at Bai Huaiyu's beaming expression, feeling warmth fill his heart. He suddenly said, "Since this is a journey of dreams, why don't we be a bit bolder and do some things we usually wouldn't dare to do, like skydiving or deep-sea diving?"
Upon hearing this, Bai Huaiyu's eyes lit up, but she quickly appeared a bit hesitant. "Skydiving? That sounds really thrilling. Am I going to be very scared?" There was a hint of nervousness in her voice.
Jiang NanJin reached out and gently held her hand, but he teased, "Who gets scared first? You're such a timid rice dumpling. Don't worry, no matter what happens, I'll be by your side. Just overcome your fear and enjoy that feeling of freedom that comes from above."
Moved by Jiang NanJin's words, Bai Huaiyu showed a determined expression on her face. "Alright, since this is a journey of dreams, let's do something different. I believe that with you here, I can be a little braver."

As his comic editor, she had visited Jiang NanJin's home countless times, but tonight her role was entirely different; she was his fiancée, which made her both excited and nervous. His voice was calm and magnetic, drawing her in effortlessly.
Bai Huaiyu gradually relaxed, captivated by Jiang NanJin's words and his unique insights about every place. She occasionally gasped in amazement and sometimes engaged in discussions about her own views, with their exchanges filled with joy and laughter.
As time passed, the moonlight outside grew softer, and the atmosphere inside became warmer.

Each time their eyes met, it seemed to convey a profound emotion without words. She gently lowered her eyelids to conceal the glimmer of tears that arose from her emotions, then lifted her head again, her bright eyes filled with tenderness. On such a night, their hearts drew closer in silence. Jiang NanJin slowly leaned toward Bai Huaiyu, each breath like a gentle spring breeze, tender and enticing. Bai Huaiyu's heart raced, a faint blush coloring her cheeks, and shyness sparkled in her eyes.
Finally, the two could not help but kiss each other, their kiss both passionate and tender, as if they were trying to entwine their souls tightly together. As the kiss deepened, the air seemed to boil, the heat gradually rising, almost making them forget everything around them.
In that lingering moment, Jiang NanJin's fingers inadvertently slid across Bai Huaiyu's waist, teasingly kneading. This touch made Bai Huaiyu let out a soft gasp, breaking the intensity of the moment. A deeper blush spread across her face, and her eyes sparkled with complex emotions, a mix of embarrassment and lingering daze.
Jiang NanJin realized that his actions were a bit excessive and immediately withdrew his hand, his eyes showing regret. He softly said, "I'm sorry, I lost my composure." His voice was hoarse, revealing his current agitation.
Bai Huaiyu shyly lowered her head and softly replied, "It's okay, I... I'm not angry." Her voice was as delicate as a whisper, yet filled with tenderness.
In this ambiguous atmosphere, Bai Huaiyu suddenly realized that it was getting late. Reluctantly, she stood up and said, "It's already so late; I should head back." Her voice revealed a sense of reluctance, mixed with a hint of shyness.
Jiang NanJin stood up and gently walked her to the door, softly saying, "I'll see you home." His gaze was firm, as if to tell her that he would always protect her, no matter when or where.
Bai Huaiyu nodded, feeling sweet and at ease in her heart. No matter how far the road ahead may be, having Jiang NanJin by her side brings endless strength.
