The morning light slowly filtered through the gaps in the curtains, casting a warm glow in Jiang NanJin's studio, a space filled with paper and the scent of ink, welcoming the start of a new day once again. Bai Huaiyu entered carefully, carrying a large bag of fresh ingredients she had just purchased from the market, and gently pushed the door open, only to find Jiang NanJin sitting in front of his easel, completely absorbed in his latest comic sketch.
"Jiang NanJin, good morning," she greeted softly, afraid to disturb his creative process.
Jiang NanJin looked up, a faint smile crossing his face as he replied, "Just in time, help me take a look at this sketch." His tone was laced with excitement.
Bai Huaiyu set down the bag she was holding and walked over, her eyes carefully examining the sketch. Her gaze revealed a professional judgment, but soon, she was distracted by a travel guidebook nearby.
"What's this?" She curiously picked up the brochure and started flipping through it.
"Well, it's about the journey we are about to embark on," Jiang NanJin got up and walked over to her, explaining, "I think before we set off, we should have a deeper understanding of the destination."
Bai Huaiyu's eyes sparkled with excitement as she couldn't help but laugh, "We're really going to that land filled with mysterious legends! I can't wait to experience the local customs and culture there."
Jiang NanJin smiled at the corner of his eye but couldn't help but lightly criticize, "I hope you won't get lost on the first day after we arrive."
Bai Huaiyu pretended to be displeased and patted his shoulder, "I wouldn't do that. At least I have you as my clever guide."
The lighthearted exchange between the two added a touch of warmth to the studio in the morning light. They then sat down together and began to seriously discuss the various details of the trip.
Jiang NanJin took a notebook off the shelf and opened its pages, revealing some plans he had made in advance. "According to our itinerary, we will first arrive in the capital, and then take an inland flight to that ancient city."
Bai Huaiyu listened intently, occasionally interjecting with questions or sharing his thoughts. "Shouldn't we visit that famous museum on the first day after we arrive? I heard it houses many precious historical artifacts."

Bai Huaiyu pouted in dissatisfaction. "Am I that weak? I guarantee I'll be full of energy and won't hold you back."
Jiang NanJin gently shook his head with a light smile, his eyes filled with affection. "I know, you are the best." His voice was soft, instantly dispelling Bai Huaiyu's dissatisfaction.
Sunlight streamed through the half-open curtains, illuminating the cozy living room where Bai Huaiyu and Jiang NanJin sat around a coffee table that exuded a faint scent of wood. The table was covered with travel brochures, maps, and various notebooks. They were planning a trip to a mysterious land filled with exotic charm and ancient legends.

Jiang NanJin, while looking at the map, occasionally shot her a relaxed smile, his voice tinged with teasing. "Are we going on a trip or an adventure? Are you planning to have us search for lost treasures in those ancient temples?"
Bai Huaiyu stopped what he was doing, looked at him, and a sweet smile appeared on his lips, though worry lingered in his eyes. "Don't you think that's romantic? But we must be careful not to get lost."
Jiang NanJin gently shook his head, feigning seriousness. "As your personal bodyguard, I certainly won't let you get lost. But we also need to be practical; let's first confirm our accommodation. Do you prefer a seaside cottage or a hotel in the city center?"
Bai Huaiyu thought for a moment and then said cautiously, "A seaside cottage sounds beautiful. We can watch the sunrise by the sea; that must be very romantic." Her eyes were filled with anticipation, as if she could already see the enchanting scenery.
Jiang NanJin smiled slightly and nodded, "A seaside cottage it is then. It seems I need to start practicing how to take the most beautiful sunrise photos." With that, he began to study the map and travel guide, planning their itinerary.
The conversation shifted to local cuisine, and Bai Huaiyu's eyes lit up. "We definitely have to try the local specialties! I've heard the seafood there is incredibly fresh, and then there's that thing... oh right, volcanic stone barbecue!"
"Well, it seems our trip will not only be an adventure but also a culinary expedition," Jiang NanJin pretended to sigh, but his eyes revealed his excitement for the upcoming journey.
In a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, they meticulously planned every detail of this trip, from choosing accommodations to crafting an exciting itinerary, and indulging in delectable cuisine. "Speaking of which," Bai Huaiyu suddenly frowned, looking at the maps and travel brochures scattered on the table, "we haven't discussed what to do if we encounter a language barrier locally. I only know basic phrases like 'thank you' and 'where is the restroom?'"
Jiang NanJin glanced at her, a hint of a smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "So you plan to solve all your problems with 'thank you' and 'where is the restroom'?"
Bai Huaiyu's cheeks flushed slightly, a mix of embarrassment and cuteness. "At least... at least I can politely ask for directions, can't I?"
"Well, that's certainly polite," Jiang Nanjin nodded seriously. "It's just that we might end up being directed to every public restroom in the city because of your 'Where is the bathroom?' instead of the destination we actually want to go to."
Bai Huaiyu couldn't help but laugh, giving him a light punch. "You rascal, always teasing me."
Jiang NanJin pretended to be in pain as he covered the spot where he had been hit, but his eyes were filled with a gentle smile. He suddenly stood up, took a small language learning book from the bookshelf, and handed it to Bai Huaiyu. "To avoid you leading us to every restroom, let's learn some practical vocabulary," he said.
Bai Huaiyu accepted the book, a look of gratitude flashing in her eyes. Jiang NanJin always cared for her in his unique way.
For the next hour, the two of them immersed themselves in the joy of learning the local language. Jiang NanJin pronounced the words accurately, while Bai Huaiyu occasionally mispronounced some, prompting Jiang NanJin to chuckle softly. However, he always patiently corrected her and encouraged her, gradually building her confidence.
After their study session, Bai Huaiyu suddenly stood up and stretched. "We need a break from studying. Come on, let's do something else."
Jiang NanJin looked at her curiously, "For example?"
"For example..." Bai Huaiyu blinked and suddenly ran to his side. Using her somewhat unskilled technique, she began to give Jiang NanJin a shoulder and neck massage. "Just to help the one I love relax a bit."
Jiang NanJin was amused by her sudden action, but soon he felt the gentle strength of her hands, causing him to involuntarily close his eyes and enjoy the delicate care from his beloved.
After the massage, Jiang NanJin turned around and gazed softly at Bai Huaiyu, "Thank you, darling. You always manage to bring me unexpected surprises."
Bai Huaiyu smiled slightly, revealing her signature cute expression. "As long as it makes you happy, I'm willing to do anything."
