Gu Chenyu sat on the big chair in the office, holding a pen in his hand, with several sheets of paper scattered in front of him, densely filled with plans and details. His brow was slightly furrowed, and his eyes revealed a rare anxiety. His personality always led him to pursue perfection in his work, especially this time when he wanted to give Su Jinyu an unforgettable romantic night, so he personally checked every detail.
Gu Chenyu picked up his phone and dialed the reservation line of the city's top restaurant. During the call, his tone was calm and firm: "I need to reserve the best table at your restaurant, yes, the one by the window with a view of the entire city at night. Yes, for next Saturday evening."
After hanging up the phone, Gu Chenyu began arranging the details of a private concert. He contacted a well-known violinist and arranged for a special melody to be played for Su Jinyu after dinner. As he checked performance clips of the violinist on his computer, he murmured to himself, "This should give her a surprise. I hope she will like it."
After confirming all the details, Gu Chenyu leaned back in his chair, took a deep breath, and a look of satisfaction flashed in his eyes. Although he usually gives the impression of being reserved and taciturn, for Su Jinyu, he was willing to spend all his thoughts planning this special evening.
He made another phone call, this time to the flower shop, requesting them to prepare the most beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers to be arranged on the restaurant table. His tone left no room for negotiation: "I need the best roses, yes, the deep red ones. Remember, I will come to pick them up that day."
After completing a series of arrangements, Gu Chenyu stood up and walked to the window, gazing at the city skyline. A rare relaxed smile appeared on his face, seemingly anticipating the arrival of that special evening. All the efforts were worth it, as long as they could make Su Jinyu feel happy and romantic.
That night, when Su Jinyu arrived at the agreed location as instructed by Gu Chenyu, she was stunned by everything in front of her. The restaurant was exquisitely decorated, with every detail exuding elegance and luxury. Under the soft lighting, each table was beautifully adorned.
Gu Chenyu was already waiting there, and when he saw Su Jinyu, his eyes were filled with tenderness. He gently approached her, extended his hand to Su Jinyu, and said softly, "Jinyu, tonight belongs to us."

They walked out of the restaurant and stepped into the bustling city streets illuminated by lights, the surrounding scenery forming a sharp contrast with the joy in their hearts.

"Tonight is really beautiful," Su Jinyu couldn't help but exclaim, her voice filled with excitement and emotion that was hard to conceal.
Gu Chenyu turned his head to look at her, a faint smile playing at the corner of his mouth: "As long as you're happy, then all the hard work is worth it." Despite his calm tone, his eyes were full of tenderness.
As they passed by a shop with a uniquely decorated display window, Su Jinyu couldn't help but grab Gu Chenyu's hand, her eyes sparkling as she looked at the items inside. "Chenyu, look at that! Isn't it special?" Her voice was filled with wonder.
Gu Chenyu was infected by her enthusiasm, and a faint smile unconsciously appeared at the corner of his mouth. He quietly accompanied her, allowing her to explore and discover to her heart's content. Although he didn't speak much, his indulgence towards Su Jinyu could be seen from his eyes.
Later, Su Jinyu discovered a unique small shop in a hidden alley. Although the storefront was small, it exuded a distinctive atmosphere. She excitedly pulled Gu Chenyu inside to explore and found many interesting handmade crafts. As Su Jinyu cheered inside the shop like a child, the tenderness in Gu Chenyu's eyes deepened.
At a picturesque bridge, they stopped in their tracks. Su Jinyu leaned against the railing, gazing at the shimmering lights not far away, looking somewhat absent-minded. Gu Chenyu stood quietly by her side and gently asked, "What are you thinking about?"
Su Jinyu turned to look at him, her eyes shimmering with complex emotions. "I'm thinking that sharing such an ordinary yet beautiful night with you makes me truly happy."
Gu Chenyu listened and felt a warmth in his heart. He gently reached out and hugged her shoulder, saying, "Jinyu, as long as you are happy, I am satisfied."
Although Gu Chenyu usually gives the impression of being calm and somewhat distant, under the influence of Su Jinyu, he gradually let go of his guard, allowing this sense of relaxation and joy to fill his heart. Their conversations were not many, but every word was filled with deep affection and understanding.
When they passed by a flower stand, Su Jinyu suddenly stopped in her tracks, drawn to a delicate bouquet of white carnations on the stand. She gently touched the petals, her eyes filled with contemplation.
Gu Chenyu noticed her fondness and smiled, asking, "Do you like it? If you do, then bring it home."

After speaking, he bought the bouquet of carnations from the stall owner and carefully placed it in Su Jinyu's hands. Su Jinyu took the flowers and felt full of happiness and sweetness.
They continued to stroll along the street, passing through the bustling crowd, enjoying the quiet time that belonged to the two of them. Although the city's nights were always bustling, in their hearts, it was so calm and satisfying.
They walked until late into the night, until the city lights gradually became sparse, and then they reluctantly ended this romantic stroll. Gu Chenyu carefully escorted Su Jinyu back home, and gently kissed her goodbye at the door.
"Goodnight, Jinyu," his voice was low and gentle, like the softest whisper in the night breeze.
Su Jinyu looked up with reluctance in her eyes and softly responded, "Chenyu, good night. Tonight was truly wonderful, thank you."
Their eyes met in the night, and for that moment, it felt as if the whole world had stopped. Then, Gu Chenyu turned and left, while Su Jinyu stood at the door, watching until his figure disappeared into the night before closing the door with lingering reluctance.
