Vick the forsaken After telling his story, his skull turned towards Van Loon with a hint of anticipation in his eyes, as if waiting for some kind of reaction. Van Loon felt a bit confused, even speechless, and honestly replied, "No... that's not at all what I wanted to hear."
Upon hearing this, Vick the forsaken put on a wounded look, his tone filled with sadness, "I see... no one wants to hear the stories of old Vick?"
Van Loon looked helplessly at the skeletal warrior, knowing that in this situation, he might have to go along with the meaning of Vick the forsaken in order to continue the conversation. So, Van Loon reluctantly said, "Alright, alright, the ranger Vick, very impressive, very brave," he emphasized, and then asked, "So, what happened after you became part of Vick the forsaken?"
Upon hearing Van Loon's words, Vick the forsaken seemed somewhat satisfied. His skull slightly nodded as if preparing to begin the next part of the story. With exaggerated gestures and dramatic flair, he spoke, seemingly trying to create a certain atmosphere for Van Loon. His voice alternated between passionate and melancholic, displaying his unique personality and intense emotions from his past experiences.
"When I turned into a skeleton warrior, oh, you know what happened?" Vick the forsaken made a dramatic pause and then exclaimed loudly, "My friends, family, lovers, they all ran away from me like they had seen a ghost. Ha! They didn't even spare me a glance. Isn't it funny? A once glorious ranger turned into an ignored skeleton monster!"
There was a self-deprecating tone in his words, even with a hint of exaggerated humor. Vick the forsaken continued, "And then, I wandered into the Skeleton Desert, you know, the place filled with skeleton warriors and undead creatures. Oh, at least there, no one would be afraid of me being a skeleton warrior, after all, we are all the same!"
Van Loon Quietly listening, feeling curious about the transformation of this former handsome adventurer, but not feeling sad. He is more concerned about how Vick the forsaken adapts to his new life and how he finds his place in the desert.
"In the desert, I met many companions with similar fates. We lived together, fought together, but to be honest, life there was extremely boring. You know, the days of the skeleton warrior, not much fun at all." Vick the forsaken spoke with a tone of sarcasm and lightness, evidently having accepted his fate.
Van Loon asked about Vick the forsaken, "The Western Continent? What is that?" Vick the forsaken couldn't help but laugh when hearing Van Loon's question: "Hahaha, you don't know the composition of this continent? It's surprising! But it's okay, let me, who has lived for a thousand years, tell you about it."
He cleared his throat and began to talk incessantly: "This continent can be generally divided into three main areas: East, West, and Central. Eastern Continent is a place full of magic and ancient legends. There are magnificent black castles, vast demon territories, and huge elven forests, making it a region full of mystery and magic."
"Western Continent is the place where we are. Here, there are fertile lands, bustling cities, and the skeleton warrior and undead-controlled Skeleton Desert. The central and southern parts of Western Continent are the location of the human federal, while the aforementioned Skeleton Desert is located in the northern part of Western Continent."
"As for the Central Continent, it is a mysterious and unpredictable place, with many undiscovered secrets."
He continued to explain, "The geographical environment of the Central Continent is diverse, with abundant resources and diverse ecology. The Beastman Empire and the Bear Clan territory there are the most powerful and mysterious races on the Central Continent. They have their own unique culture and traditions, and they coexist harmoniously with nature, making it a true wilderness."
Vick the forsaken's eyes revealed a hint of longing, "The wilderness and forests of the Central Continent are beyond reach for a skeleton warrior like me. Every inch of land there is filled with the breath of life and the power of the wild. I have never had the opportunity to explore there in person, but I always dream of being able to adventure in those unknown lands."
Van Loon listened to Vick the forsaken's account of the continent and found it quite fascinating. Most of his knowledge had previously been focused on the situation in the Western Continent, and his understanding of the Eastern Continent and the Central Continent was very limited. This new information broadened his horizons and sparked a desire to explore the unknown world.
Van Loon nodded at Vick the forsaken and expressed satisfaction with the knowledge, encouraging him to continue: "Keep telling your story, Vick the forsaken."
Vick the forsaken felt a little proud, encouraged by Van Loon, he continued, "Hehe, since you are so interested, I will tell you more. After I became Vick the forsaken, I lived in the Skeleton Desert, a place full of death and silence, just mentioning it makes people feel cold. But I also learned how to survive there, how to find my place in this land of death."
His tone carried a hint of self-mockery: "There, I also met many skeleton brothers. Although we are all cursed beings, we also learned to support each other. Of course, these skeleton brothers are different from your flock of goat, they have no emotions, only cold bones and endless wandering."
Vick the forsaken flashed a hint of sadness in its eyes: "Sometimes, I think back to my days as a ranger, when I was carefree. Now I'm trapped in this immortal body. But meeting you, this special goat, might also be a kind of fate."
