A few days later, as the Mo Chen incident came to a close, the city returned to calm once again. In a secluded cottage, Lin Xiaoxiao and Gu Sha held a simple yet special celebration to commemorate their victory. The room was filled with all sorts of snacks and drinks, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.
Lin Xiaoxiao held a bottle of wine and shook her head, "To be honest, I never thought we would be able to sit down quietly like this and celebrate. I always felt like the battles would never end."
Gu sha gently picked up a glass of wine and smiled in response, "Yes, but it's all finally over. We should be happy about that. At least now, we can enjoy this peace."

Gu sha quickly stood up and supported her, "Be careful, don't fall down."

In the late night, Lin Xiaoxiao's drunken state revealed a rare vulnerability. She leaned against Gu sha, her steps unsteady, each one seeming like a struggle against gravity. Gu sha wore a helpless smile on his face, his arm securely holding Lin Xiaoxiao, ensuring she wouldn't fall on this path.
"Gu sha, do you know, I feel like you... you're really good," Lin Xiaoxiao slurred, her words disordered but sincere.
Gu sha responded softly, "Is that so? If I'm really fine, then you should obediently go to sleep now."
Finally reaching the small bed, Lin Xiaoxiao half leaned on the edge of the bed, while Gu sha gently helped her take off her shoes, making sure she could lie down comfortably. Suddenly, Lin Xiaoxiao looked up, staring at Gu sha with her hazy eyes, and then unexpectedly, she gently kissed Gu sha on the cheek.
Gu sha was stunned for a moment, then could only helplessly smile and say, "Xiao Xiao, what are you doing?"
Lin Xiaoxiao giggled tipsily and said, "Because... because I'm happy. Gu sha, you're not angry, are you?"
Gu sha gently stroked her head and comforted her softly, "It's okay, go to sleep. You might have a headache when you wake up tomorrow."
Finally, Gu sha tucked Lin Xiaoxiao in, making sure she could feel warm in this cold night. He sat quietly by the bed, with a gentle smile on his face. At this moment, his heart was filled with a strong desire to protect.
The night grew deeper, with only the gentle breathing of two people in the room and the occasional sound of the wind outside. This night, because of that sudden kiss, felt particularly warm and unforgettable.
Lin Xiaoxiao's face wore a satisfied smile as she quickly drifted into dreamland. Gu sha gently tucked her in, then sat at the edge of the bed, quietly watching her until he was sure she was sleeping soundly. Only then did he gently get up, turn off the light, and lay down on the other side.
The night slowly passes by, and the light in the cabin is still warm. This night is a new beginning for them, a small celebration of their own, and a hope for the dawn of peace.
