Prajna Valley 0

The valley was so serene that even the sound of my footsteps and the rustling of the wind through the trees were crystal clear. If it weren't for what Old Buddy had told me about the peculiarities of this valley, I might have completely forgotten about any supernatural beings and simply enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Flowers bloomed vibrantly, and lush green trees surrounded me, as if I had fallen into a Dream. A layer of white mist lingered among the trees, making the mountains appear even more ethereal and illusory. It felt as though everything here was alive, each entity living in a detached manner, unbothered by the world around them, moving slowly and rhythmically. I even had the strange illusion that the arcs traced by butterflies flitting among the flowers were preordained. I couldn't quite understand why I felt this way. 0

In my arms, Little White was not experiencing such illusions; it was excited as if returning to a long-lost home. It looked around eagerly, bouncing with joy. 0

Guided by Little White, we traversed through dense forests, crossed small streams in the mountains, and inhaled the fragrant flowers along the green banks. What appeared to be steep cliffs leading to a dead end turned out to reveal another world after passing through them. A vast expanse of greenery lay before me, open and built against the mountainside, with hundreds of steps leading up to various oddly shaped little houses. To be honest, they had a somewhat modern style—if they weren't made of wood and grass. I was alone on this journey, well, except for Little White; Little Seven had been left behind in Suaru City to complete a task I assigned before heading directly to Sword Sage Villa. Azure Thorn took the rest of our group ahead to meet with Jianxian and my master. Perhaps they could assist him in some small way. 0

As I watched a few figures emerge from one of the houses, dressed oddly with bizarre hairstyles, I knew I had reached my destination. This was indeed the lair of the Ten Monsters. I wiped away the beads of sweat forming on my forehead; it had been quite a trek. 0

Perhaps I should give them a surprise as a small greeting gift. Tilting my head in thought for a moment, I chuckled mischievously and stealthily made my way toward the wooden house down the mountain. 0

Before long, Nine Monsters suddenly discovered a body lying in front of their door—a remarkably handsome young man who could rival their stunning friend from long ago. No matter how much they pushed or shouted at the figure sprawled on the ground, there was no response. Suddenly, Nine Monsters had an idea: since he had fallen from the sky, he would make an excellent subject for their new experiment involving a peculiar itching pus rot solution. The thought of such a beautiful youth slowly succumbing to their poison filled them with anticipation—first becoming unbearably itchy in Dreamland, scratching until chunks of flesh fell away, followed by foul-smelling pus oozing out. The idea that this exquisite young man would helplessly witness his own flesh decay until only bones remained thrilled Nine Monsters. 0

Although there were doubts about whether an antidote could be developed in time, Nine Monsters couldn't resist the allure of having a free living specimen for their experiment. They eagerly imagined how delightful it would be to see the young man wake up from Dreamland only to find himself rotting into bones. 0

Just as Nine Monsters gleefully approached with their powder ready to sprinkle on the young man's delicate face, he suddenly opened his eyes and grinned eerily at them. Before Nine Monsters could react to that strange smile, they realized too late that all their cursed powder had already absorbed into their own skin. Damn it! They had designed this latest poison to dissolve upon contact with skin to avoid interference from wind or external factors. 0

Realizing that it was not just this mischievous beautiful youth who would soon rot but themselves sent Nine Monsters into a panic as they let out a sharp scream. The chilling cry startled not only the sparrows outside but also attracted other members of Nine Monsters (the abbreviation for Nine Monsters). 0

When the other Nine Monsters arrived at Ninth Brother's house, they were greeted by an astonishing sight: a beautiful young man in white sat gleefully atop a high stage watching as Nine Monsters writhed on the ground in agony while he laughed ominously at them. The other nine monsters glared at him fiercely, ready to interrogate him about what he had done or perhaps tear him apart or throw him into Dark Current (the place where divine beasts reside) to feed those beasts for dinner when Little White jumped from beside him into his arms and clarified their confusion. 0

"Divine Beast! An Jin?!" they exclaimed in unison. 0

I nodded calmly and jumped down from the platform, bowing to the group of Uncles. "Greetings, esteemed Uncles. Your nephew pays his respects." 0

Hearing my voice, a stern-looking old man with white hair in the front scoffed at me. "Stop pretending. Although I didn't teach that guy the Disguise Technique, those Voice-Changing Pills are all my invention. Little Girl, what brings you here?" 0

I blinked innocently, looking at them with wide eyes, pure and aggrieved. "Little Bai missed all of you Uncles. As I happened to pass by, I thought I would come to visit. But when I arrived, I was so tired that I fell asleep in front of Uncle Nine's door. When I woke up, I heard Uncle Nine mumbling something about conducting experiments on me. In my panic, I blew my mouth and ended up like this." By the end, I was almost in tears. 0

The nine Uncles spoke in unison to the writhing Uncle Nine on the ground. "Ninth Brother, this is your fault. Your little nephew came all this way; how could you—" 0

I maintained a fearful expression on my face while secretly chuckling inside. They were so easy to deceive. These Ten Monsters were indeed simple-minded individuals; aside from their love for fun (though sometimes at the cost of lives), they truly had no understanding of the wickedness of human nature. 0

Uncle Nine, lying on the ground, gritted his teeth and said, "Little Demon." After that, he cried out in distress. 0

He pitifully pleaded with his brothers, "Help me, brothers." 0

The other nine Uncles looked troubled. "It's not that we don't want to help you; it's just that we're not skilled with this kind of poison. Isn't Ninth Brother the best at handling it? Didn't he prepare an antidote?" 0

The guy who brought this upon himself had a face full of despair. If only he had known—if only he had known— 0

Looking at his pitiful state, even though he was the one who caused trouble first, it seemed like I should be the one playing tricks first. So, I decided to let him off this time. After all, it was just a small greeting gift; it was unfortunate that he happened to be chosen to lie outside since his house was the most beautiful. 0

With that thought in mind, I sweetly addressed the Uncles. "Esteemed Uncles, I've previously researched this type of poison. How about giving me a few days to see if I can figure something out?" 0

Seeing me so endearing, several Uncles chuckled awkwardly. "Then we'll leave it to you." With that, they vanished in an instant. This was their quirk; they would only use poison to harm others and play tricks but dreaded saving people—even their own brothers. Now that this heavy responsibility had been voluntarily taken on by me, they were grateful indeed. 0

I strolled back to Uncle Nine, chuckling to myself. Even though I intended to heal him, I was determined to let him suffer a bit first. I wouldn't tell him that I already had a few Great Rejuvenation Pills, made with Azure Thorn, in my pocket—pills that could cure all poisons. 0

"Here, eat this," I said, pouring the concoction into his mouth regardless of whether he wanted it or not. This had been going on for several days. To be honest, the medicine was just some herbal brew meant to clear heat and detoxify; it would only alleviate his itching slightly. Watching him suffer brought me a sense of satisfaction. Let's see if he dares to think about ruining my looks again after tasting the bitterness of being disfigured himself. I was just returning evil for evil; after enduring such torment, would he still have the audacity to harm others? 0

By the way, my purpose for coming here was to give the Ten Monsters a complete makeover! While others had the Wild Boar Transformation, I was here for the Ten Monsters' grand transformation. 0

So, as Nine Monsters lay on the bed, he heard his brothers screaming in agony one after another. It was a pitiful sight as they fell victim to their own latest and most proud inventions—poisons they hadn’t even had time to create antidotes for. 0

This little demon always appeared as a savior, pretending to care for them while making them taste the bitter fruits of their own creations. Truly, it was worse than death! The ten helpless souls lying in bed lamented their fate. Sang Qin, oh Sang Qin, how unfortunate it was to have made such bad friends that led to today’s calamity! 0

This was no mere little demon; he was like Satan reborn. The Ten Monsters were nothing before him; they had become the very embodiment of the Ten Monsters. 0

Later generations referred to this figure who tamed the Ten Monsters and sought to reform them as "Satan." 0

Even amidst their suffering, this little demon grew bored and entertained them with many stories. The one that left the deepest impression was about this being called Satan, the God of Darkness. The ten men who dared not voice their anger thought to themselves: isn’t this a true reflection of this little demon? Thus came the name Satan. 0

After several days of playing the role of a standard housewife, my life finally returned to normal—sleeping at midnight and waking up at noon. A few days ago, my grandparents came to visit while my parents were at work, leaving me responsible for taking care of them. Each day began with a trip to a nearby community market to buy groceries, followed by some rest before cooking dinner for when my parents returned home. After dinner, I would wash the dishes. With Grandma unwell, I also had to take her to the hospital for treatment and injections before returning home to cook again. It felt strange being such a dedicated housewife—staying home and managing everything—but these ordinary days were still interesting; they were peaceful and fulfilling. 0
