Following Leng Junyu, Le Yao Yao was immediately captivated by the carriage parked at the entrance of the royal mansion.
This carriage was adorned with four large rubies at each corner, crafted from the finest Black Sandalwood. The curtains, embellished with Golden Tassels, swayed gently in the breeze, shimmering under the sunlight and giving the entire carriage a dazzling, luxurious appearance.
No wonder people said being born into the Imperial Family was a blessing earned over several lifetimes; even a single carriage was made so extravagantly that wherever it went, it drew envious glances from all around!
And then there were the magnificent horses pulling the carriage. Although Le Yao Yao didn’t know much about horses, she could tell just by looking at their build.
With strong limbs and bright Eyes, it was clear they were far superior to the average horses owned by commoners!
Though ancient times were not as advanced as modern days, this carriage's opulence would surely place it in the same league as a Lamborghini if transported to the present!
Le Yao Yao gasped in her heart, her Beautiful Eyes sweeping over to the several guards following closely behind the carriage, each wearing heavy armor and carrying swords at their waists. Their expressions were serious and vigilant, their cold gazes matching that of their master!
Just as Le Yao Yao was lost in thought, she suddenly felt a heavy shove on her Shoulder, snapping her back to reality. Turning to look, she met the warning frown of the Chief Eunuch.
"What are you standing there for? Hurry and assist the prince onto the carriage!"
"Ah? How do I assist?"
Le Yao Yao felt a bit dazed upon hearing the Chief Eunuch's words.
"Get in the carriage, how else do you expect to serve?"
Seeing Le Yao Yao still stunned by his words, the Chief Eunuch's expression darkened further.
"You really are a foolish servant! The carriage is so high; how do you expect your master to get up? Naturally, you need to squat down and let the prince step on your back!"
"Ah!"
