Kevin's gaze wandered around the endless hall, bathed in a pale light, reflecting boundless fear and confusion in his deep eyes. The golden walls of the hall shimmered with a faint halo under the white light, seemingly mocking him in hushed tones. His heartbeat echoed unusually clear in this vast space, like a giant drumbeat, rhythmically reminding him of his loneliness and helplessness. 0

Each of his steps seemed unusually heavy, the sound of his shoes rubbing against the floor reverberating in the desolate hall, as if summoning some mysterious power. The lights and pillars in the hall seemed to form an eerie melody, repeating endlessly. Kevin often felt like he had walked a long way, only to find himself back at the starting point in the blink of an eye, as if the entire space was teasing him. 0

Just as he began to feel despair, thinking he might never escape this place, his eyes suddenly caught sight of two familiar figures not far away. He quickened his pace and discovered that they were Alan and Mary. However, they were no longer the way he remembered them, but had transformed into block forms from " Minecraft ". 0

Alan, who usually had a scholarly appearance, had now become a cube with blocky glasses, while Mary's golden long hair had also turned into a golden block. Both of them lay quietly on the ground, as if they had lost consciousness. 0

Kevin couldn't help but hold his transformed hand in front of his eyes and observe it closely. He saw every detail, every block, as if they were all telling him: this is not a dream. 0

He quickly crouched down and gently tapped Alan and Mary on their backs with his block-shaped hand, attempting to wake them from their unconsciousness. " Alan! Mary! Wake up!" His voice was filled with urgency and concern. 0

Alan slowly began to react. His body moved slightly, and a faint glimmer appeared in his eyes behind the glasses. He tried to lift his head, looking at this unfamiliar world, then back at his own body. "This is...?" His eyes revealed deep confusion. 0

Mary took a few seconds to react. She breathed lightly, and her square-shaped eyes gradually began to flicker. She tried to sit up, her hair swaying as she moved, emitting a golden glow. "This is... where is this? Kevin, why... have we both become like this?" 0

Kevin looked at the two of them, took a deep breath, and tried to calm himself. "I feel like... we've really entered the 'backroom' space in Minecraft. And, the way we look now, it's like we're characters in the game," his voice carried a hint of shock and disbelief. 0

Alan and Mary looked at each other, although their faces showed no expression, the fear and confusion in their eyes were evident. In that moment, all three of them deeply felt the helplessness and confusion of being surrounded by an unknown environment. 0

Deep despair filled Mary's face, and every inch of her skin seemed to tremble. Her breathing was rapid and deep, as if an invisible hand was covering her mouth and nose, making each breath a struggle. Her once innocent eyes were now filled with fear and confusion, constantly wandering between her own body and this unfamiliar environment. 0

She slowly raised her square-shaped hand, seemingly trying to discern and understand the incredible things before her. Every square, every detail felt like a blade, piercing her soul. Her breathing became more and more rapid, as if a huge stone was pressing on her chest, making it hard to breathe. 0

"Oh... my God, why... why has it come to this?" Mary's voice was filled with tears, as if she had reached her limit. The despair in her eyes was like a ship in a storm, constantly tossing in the raging waves. The terrifying scenes echoed in her mind, a world of blocks, a distorted reality, all too much for her to bear. 0

Suddenly, Mary burst into loud sobs, her sadness and despair flowing endlessly like a spring. "I don't want this! I don't want to be like this! How could I become like this?!" She cried heartbreakingly, each cry shaking the air around her. She desperately rubbed her face, her body, hoping it all was just a nightmare. But no matter how hard she tried, that blocky sensation followed her like a shadow, refusing to leave. 0
"I... I don't want to be a square person for the rest of my life..." Mary's voice gradually became weak, tears falling down, each drop filled with her despair. "I don't want to be trapped in this place! I want to get out!" She screamed frantically, almost on the verge of collapsing, the deep despair almost causing her to lose her sanity. She trembled, not knowing how much more terror this horrifying world would bring her. 0

Alan stood aside, facing Mary's breakdown. Although his heart was also filled with shock and confusion, he still maintained a hint of calmness. His eyes were firm, not completely out of control like Mary. Those eyes behind the glasses shone brightly in this block world, like the brightest stars in the night sky, illuminating everything around. 0

He took a deep breath, adjusted his emotions, and quietly walked over to Mary, gently patting her back in an attempt to comfort her. "Mary, I know you're very scared right now, but we must stay calm." 0

He recalled the urban legends he had read online about the backroom in the game "Minecraft." The residents mentioned in those legends were mostly not benevolent beings, but rather like bugs in the game, incomprehensible and unable to communicate with. Provoking them could have serious consequences. 0

"I've heard some urban legends about this game before," Alan said in a low voice. "In this backroom, there are some residents who are not friendly. We have to be careful not to provoke them." 0
