When Jingxuan arrived at the entrance of the girls' dormitory on her motorcycle, she found the campus bustling with energy under the night sky. Students hurried to club activities and team training, each seeming to have their own purpose and passion. This campus atmosphere made Jingxuan feel a sense of belonging and warmth.
In the parking lot, many students had already left, leaving plenty of empty spaces. Jingxuan easily found a spot and parked Cai Ying's motorcycle. She took a large bag filled with barbecue from the motorcycle, feeling the warmth and aroma of the food inside, which made her mood even more pleasant.
Jingxuan walked slowly towards the dormitory, carrying the carefully selected dinner for her roommates. The night breeze was cool, but it brought a sense of tranquility and stability. As she entered the dormitory building, she was filled with anticipation of sharing the meal with her roommates. She imagined the surprised and joyful expressions of her roommates, which made her steps even lighter.
When Jingxuan gently pushed open the door of dorm B3104, she found Ruoxi, Xiao Ri, and Cai Ying already gathered together, chatting happily. On the table were various drinks and ingredients for cocktails, such as whiskey, red tea, cola, and lemon, apparently as if showing off her cocktail-making skills learned from bars and nightclubs.
When the three of them saw Jingxuan holding the barbecue, they immediately surrounded her happily and took the food from her hands. Jingxuan pretended to be angry and said, "Oh, so you only welcome the barbecue, not me?" The three of them laughed and quickly pulled Jingxuan to sit down.
Xiao Ri responded with a smile, "How could that be possible? We all miss you so much, darling!" The tone revealed their care and affection for Jingxuan.
Jingxuan was infected by their enthusiasm, sat down with a smile, opened the barbecue bag, and handed out the fragrant barbecue to everyone. The room was filled with laughter and joy as everyone sat around, sharing the barbecue and tasting the cocktails carefully crafted by Ruxi.
After Jingxuan sat down, the roommates eagerly brought the barbecue bag over and curiously looked at the delicious food inside. The fragrant barbecue emitted an enticing aroma, making everyone's mouth water. Ruxi picked up a particularly tempting piece of grilled meat and excitedly said, " Jingxuan, you really know how to choose. This looks super delicious!" At the same time, she demonstrated her cocktail mixing skills, creating a unique and delicious flavor by skillfully mixing whiskey, black tea, cola, and lemon.
Xiao Ri and Cai Ying were watching with smiles on their faces, occasionally casting admiring glances at Ruxi. Xiao Ri joked, "Our dorm has its own mixologist, we'll rely on you for future gatherings!" Cai Ying nodded in agreement, "Indeed, your mixology skills are on par with those of outside bars."
In such a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, Jingxuan began to recount her experiences of the day. She described what she had seen and heard at the Valley Rhyme dance troupe, as well as how she had reignited her passion for dance. Her story piqued the interest of her roommates, who listened with great enthusiasm.
At that moment, Ruoxi suddenly interjected, saying, "It's a good thing you skipped class this afternoon. The linguistics teacher was as incomprehensible as ever. I couldn't understand a thing." Her tone carried a hint of jest and relief.
Xiao Ri and Cai Ying both chuckled upon hearing this. Xiao Ri chimed in, "Yeah, that class was like a lullaby. I almost fell asleep in the classroom." Cai Ying added, "I thought I was the only one who couldn't understand. Turns out, we're all in the same boat."
In the warm dorm room, the atmosphere is filled with laughter and intimacy. Ruoxi suddenly said jokingly, " Jingxuan, that dance group sounds amazing. You can go there to dance and also complete your end-of-term field investigation report at the same time! How great is that!" She had a mischievous smile on her face.
Jingxuan listened, her eyes filled with anticipation. She responded, "Yes, you're right. I will go and give it a try on Saturday. If it feels right, I will join them." There was a hint of excitement and anticipation in her voice.
Xiao Ri Then, excitedly, she said, "So, does that mean we'll have the chance to see your wonderful performance on stage in the future? That would be amazing!" Her eyes sparkled with anticipation and excitement.
Jingxuan Hearing this, a shy smile appeared on her face as she softly said, "Well, if the opportunity arises, I will definitely work hard." Her heart was filled with anticipation for the future and a hint of nervousness.
Cai Ying also added dialogue, smiling and saying, "Then we must become loyal fans of Jingxuan in the future." Her words revealed support and encouragement for Jingxuan. When Jingxuan heard their words, she felt very warm and happy. She looked gratefully at each roommate, filled with hope and courage for the future.
As everyone enjoyed the fragrant barbecue and chatted, Xiao Ri began sharing her recent experiences in the cooking club. She proudly said, "Do you know, our cooking club's annual recruitment is super popular, especially among guys, there are so many!" Her words caused a stir in the room.
Xiao Ri asked with a questioning tone, "Really? So many guys are interested in cooking?" Her eyes showed curiosity.
Xiao Ri responded with a smile, "Actually, most of those guys are just using the opportunity to join the cooking club to meet girls. They're not really interested in cooking." Her words carried a hint of humor and sarcasm.
Cai Ying After listening, I couldn't help but laugh: "Haha, that's quite interesting. The cooking club has turned into a dating club," she said jokingly.
Just then, Xiao Ri suddenly seemed to remember something important and quickly took out some exquisite cupcakes and muffins from her bag, handing them out to everyone. As she distributed them, she said, "These are the back-to-school gifts from our club president today. She made these and they are super delicious. You guys should try them!" Her face was filled with pride and anticipation.
Jingxuan received a cupcake and savored it slowly. A satisfied smile appeared on her face as she exclaimed, "Wow, it's really delicious! Your president is amazing, Xiao Ri!" She sincerely praised.
