"Do as you wish."
I picked up the pen and swiftly signed my name before handing the Guarantee Letter back to her.
She smiled with satisfaction and turned to leave.
As soon as she was gone, I immediately called my assistant to have my brother's card suspended.
I had been giving my brother fifty thousand each month for living expenses for both him and our parents.
Since they had treated me this way, there was no need for me to be the fool any longer.
Moreover, I had originally planned to buy my brother a wedding house, but that was no longer necessary.
My assistant was efficient; by the next morning, I received a text from my brother.
"Sister, why did you suspend my card?"
I simply ignored it, too lazy to reply.
My sister-in-law was still messaging in the Family Group, reminding me to wake up at six and join them for a hike.
I ignored that too, turning off my phone and going back to sleep.
I finally got up at three in the afternoon.
When I opened my phone, I saw a message from my sister-in-law.
"Wang Zixuan, we're having dinner at a restaurant at five o'clock. Remember to come."
She even sent a location pin.
I smirked slightly, tidied myself up, and arrived at the restaurant on time.
They were already there, ordering food.
Upon seeing me, my sister-in-law's expression wasn't great, but she didn't say anything.
The dishes came out quickly; everyone was hungry and dived into their meals.
Halfway through eating, my sister-in-law suddenly looked up at me with a troubled expression: "Zixuan, did you bring any sanitary pads?"
"I think I'm on my period, but I didn't bring any."
I raised an eyebrow: "You can buy some using a mobile app."
"No way." She shook her head, urgency written all over her face. "I can't wait, Zixuan. Can you help me buy some?"
I looked at her deeply.
It was quite cool today, and she had only eaten half of her meal. Even if she was on her period, there was no way she would stain her pants. Besides, she had specifically worn a thick pair of jeans earlier.
Clearly, she was stalling for time, afraid that I would finish my meal and leave. However, if she wanted to spend money like this, I couldn't let her down, could I?
I nodded and stood up to leave.
"Wait." My sister-in-law suddenly called out to me. "What are you eating? You can order now; otherwise, when we're done, you'll only have leftovers."
"Right," my brother chimed in. "Sister, what do you want to eat? Hurry up and order."
I smiled lightly. "No need; I'll order for myself."
"Give me the menu."
The waiter immediately handed me the menu.
I glanced at it and ordered a lobster, a serving of caviar, and a steak.
"Zixuan, are you sure you can finish all that?" My sister-in-law's voice was sharp.
I smiled again. "I'll finish it; don't worry."
"Do you have anything else to add?" I asked my sister-in-law.
"No, nothing," she replied with an awkward smile.
I nodded. "Then enjoy your meal; I'm going to buy some sanitary pads."
With that, I left.
When I returned, they had nearly finished eating. I handed the sanitary pads to my sister-in-law and then began to order my food.
They sat beside me, watching as I ordered one expensive dish after another, their expressions growing increasingly grim.
My brother couldn't help but speak up, "Sister, are you really going to finish all that?"
"I won't," I replied honestly.
"Then why..."
"Because I like it," I said with a smile. "You guys can leave after you're done eating; I'll sit here for a while longer."
Their faces looked troubled, but they didn't say anything and got up to leave.
I sat alone by the window, leisurely enjoying my steak while watching the bustling traffic outside, feeling quite pleased.
After finishing my meal, just as I was about to leave, my sister-in-law sent me another message.
"Zixuan, we're going for a walk by the beach; you should come too. Parents are coming along."
It seemed that the conditions at the Youth Hostel were too poor for our parents to handle, which is why my sister-in-law agreed to take them along.
I replied, "No thanks, you all go ahead. I want to save my last day for shopping."
"Alright then, see you tomorrow."
