"Did the sheep run away?"
Tang Jingshu's voice wavered slightly, causing Xu Hang, who had been silent until now, to stand up.
Gu Ze shook his head, while Deng Yinyin's face turned pale. She covered her mouth with her hands, struggling to suppress the urge to gag.
Xie Huai, usually the boldest among them, spoke in fragmented sentences.
"That sheep... in its belly, there were... there were fingers, and... and a humerus."
Xu Nuan could vividly imagine the Red-Eyed Sheep gnawing on a human arm.

Xu Hang nodded first, glancing at the few women who followed suit.
"Everyone take a break for now; we'll look for food later."
Deng Yinyin was still visibly shaken, her eyes pleading as she looked towards Gu Ze, only to notice that his gaze was directed elsewhere, where Xu Nuan and Tang Jingshu were.
The recovering Tang Jingshu suggested, "There are not only animals in the jungle but also plants. Many of them are edible. Xu Nuan and I will go look for some; you all have worked hard, so take a rest."
Suddenly called upon, Xu Nuan stood up in agreement and followed Tang Jingshu. They hadn't walked far when they heard Deng Yinyin's distinctive voice.
"Tang Jingshu is amazing; she's familiar with most plants and won't let us down."
Xu Nuan immediately turned her gaze to the elegantly walking Tang Jingshu beside her.
Tang Jingshu smiled shyly, her lips pressed together like a flower about to bloom, captivating despite being in the midst of a perilous jungle.
As Tang Jingshu picked up a long branch to swat at the rampant plants around them, she casually asked, "Can I call you Nuan?"
The familiar term caught Xu Nuan off guard for a moment, but she quickly suppressed her surprise and responded with an unusually calm tone.
"Suit yourself."
Tang Jingshu continued to identify the plants while asking, "Why did you come to this game? I heard from our HR manager that you've already been nominated at the headquarters. If all goes well, you'll be the manager of the Human Resources Department by the end of this year. You've worked hard for several years; why would you give it up so easily?"
In Tang Jingshu's mind, the HR manager at Heng Technology held Xu Nuan in high regard. Every time he returned from an external exchange, he would mention Xu Nuan in the department, praising her as a vibrant and sweet girl with a good temperament and solid abilities who deserved to be cherished. Since that manager was known for being strict yet handsome, wealthy, and talented, the women in the HR department took note of Xu Nuan, and her name quickly spread among the female employees at Heng Technology.
However, when she encountered Xu Nuan in the game, it felt as if she had become a different person. What could cause such a drastic change in someone in such a short time? Could it really be because of money? Tang Jingshu suddenly thought of her wealthy boyfriend and his parents' disdain for her family, causing her expression to darken.
After a long silence, just when Tang Jingshu thought Xu Nuan wouldn't respond, two simple yet heavy words reached her ears.
"Looking for someone."
Tang Jingshu suddenly remembered that Xu Nuan had a childhood sweetheart boyfriend, which was a piece of gossip frequently circulated among the female employees at the company.
