As the sun gradually climbed to its zenith, Jack and the dogs finally arrived at the main road to Rado City. This once busy thoroughfare was now desolate. The scene before Jack made him inhale deeply; there were numerous abandoned vehicles scattered around, lying silently on the road like silent witnesses, recounting the chaotic scene of fleeing before the nuclear explosion. These vehicles were covered in rust and dust, as if time had left scars here, bearing witness to the past despair and panic.
The road surface had cracked due to years of neglect, with weeds growing in the crevices, silently telling the tale of the disaster that had befallen this land.
