I closed my eyes for a moment of rest when I heard the voice of the Bearded Man coming from above, "Hey, hey, hey, that's enough. Get up, get up, get up." 0

I opened my eyes, took a deep breath, and wearily sat up. "Listen, brother, I'm about to collapse from exhaustion. Can't you let me rest a bit? How am I supposed to find Wreck for you later?" 0

The Bearded Man looked down at me and asked, "Why did you come back alone? Where's my brother?" 0

It was then that I remembered that the one called Landmine was already dead. I stood up and scanned the area. I saw Shunzi had returned, which eased my mind. Mai Lao and the others were still tied up on the deck, with several Marauders guarding them. Mai Lao's eyes were fixed on me; he probably guessed what had happened. 0

I put on a serious face and said, "Your brother... he’s dead." 0

After I spoke those words, the Bearded Man's expression didn't change, but his eyes were filled with a murderous intent. "What the hell did you just say? Say it again!" 0

I remained calm and replied, "I said your brother is dead." 0

"You’re dead meat," the Bearded Man instantly pressed his gun against my head, revealing a fierce look on his face. 0

"What do you want?" Shunzi and Jiao Ba were about to rush forward when they were held back by the guns of the Bearded Man's men. Mai Lao remained silent, quietly observing everything. This Old Man really knew how to keep his cool! It seemed he didn’t care about my life or death. 0

I slowly raised my hands and said, "Calm down; I didn't kill your brother." 0

"Do you think I'm an idiot? If it wasn't you, then who?" The Bearded Man pressed the gun hard against my forehead; the cold black barrel made me hesitate to move. Although I was fairly confident I could take him down, I was still afraid that a stray bullet might hurt someone on our side. After all, this Bearded Man wasn't someone to be trifled with. 0

I calmly stated, "I really didn't kill him. Besides, I know that if I killed him, you'd kill me too. Why would I do something so stupid?" 0

After hearing this, the Bearded Man seemed to soften a bit. He squinted at me and asked, "Alright then, tell me how he died. If you can't explain it clearly, I'll still put you down." 0

I frowned and said, "I don’t know exactly how he died. After we went into the sea..." I detailed everything that had happened to him. There was no need for me to lie; I wanted to know how that bastard had died too. If he hadn’t died first, it might have been me instead. 0

The Bearded Man immediately retorted, "Brat, are you trying to fool your grandfather here? What the hell is this nonsense? Is there really such a thing in the ocean?" 0

I explained seriously, "At first, I didn't believe it either, but now I have no choice but to. You've seen the Wreck we salvaged, but do you know what we've been through? If you don't believe me, you can go check out that Wreck yourself or come with me into the sea; I'll take you right to that dark area." 0

"What he's saying is true. If you don't believe it, just go inside the Wreck and you'll understand everything," Mike finally spoke up, looking at me with a determined gaze. 0

The Bearded Man continued to stare at me, and after a moment he said, "Fine, I'll temporarily believe you. Have you found that Wreck?" 0

"I told you already, the Wreck should be in that dark area," I replied helplessly. 0

The Bearded Man's eyes shifted as he said, "Hmph, you'd better not pull any tricks. Didn't you say there's treasure in that Wreck? Well then, tonight you’ll take me to see it. If you dare deceive me, don’t blame me for being rude." 0

"Don't worry, I only have one life." This guy could no longer hold back; seeing that the Ming Dynasty Shipwreck had not been found yet, he planned to first get the 'treasure' from the Qing Dynasty Shipwreck. Perfectly timed for tonight—he would ensure that they would have no place to bury their bodies... 0

As the sun set, the Bearded Man couldn't wait any longer. He started organizing people to search for the so-called priceless treasure in the Qing Dynasty Shipwreck. Damn it, these guys were all well-fed while we hadn’t eaten a single bite since last night! After such physical exertion, my body was about to give out. Thank goodness I had trained; otherwise, I would have collapsed by now. 0

"Can we get something to eat? We haven't had a single bite of food yet! We can't hold on much longer," Jiao Ba finally couldn't take it anymore and spoke up to the Bearded Man. 0

"Yeah! If we're going to work for you, at least let us eat enough! How can we work on an empty stomach?" I chimed in. This time the Bearded Man allowed a few of us to go with him: me, Shunzi, Jiao Ba, and Mai Lao. He brought along seven or eight others while the rest stayed on the ship to guard Jenny and the other sailors. 0

The Bearded Man impatiently said, "There's still a lot to do. Go get them some food quickly; let them eat well so they can work hard afterward." 0

A Marauder went to fetch us some bread and similar items. We quickly made do with what we had. During the meal, I quietly asked Jiao Ba, "Lao Ba, are you sure this will work?" 0

Jiao Ba replied without changing his expression, "Don't worry Brother Yi; once we go there, those guys will definitely be doomed." 0

Mai Lao suddenly interjected, "Jiao Ba, don't forget that we have to go with them too. If something goes wrong, do you think you'll be able to escape unscathed?" 0

"Yes! Mai Lao is absolutely right. That Bearded Man will definitely make us take the lead. What are we going to do if something goes wrong?" I said casually while eating. 0

According to Jiao Ba, that female corpse is what they call a Demon Worm Corpse. If it really gets released, I can't imagine the kind of power it would have. The last time, just looking into her eyes almost killed me. If we break that talisman this time, who knows what will happen. 0

Jiao Ba was more direct: "Let's leave it to fate! If that female corpse really goes wild, there's nothing I can do, unless..." 0

"Unless what?" we all asked in unison. 0

Jiao Ba glanced at the others but quietly whispered in my ear, "Unless that man in black shows up. Right now, he's the only one who can deal with this ghostly thing." 0

As soon as he finished speaking, my expression changed. I recalled the feline-like eyes of that man in black and the note he left me: "I don't think he'll show up easily." I replied softly. 0

The others were left puzzled because only I could hear Jiao Ba's words. Mai Lao's gaze was unfocused; this Old Man always gave me a sense of illusion. Sometimes he seemed like a fool, but other times he acted like an expert—sometimes even better than an expert. 0

Then I shrugged and said, "If we're going to die, we might as well take them down with us." 0

After finishing our meal, the Bearded Man had us lead him over. I set down the Lifeline, and the four of us entered the sea, slowly making our way toward the Wreck. That Bearded Man was quite clever; he lowered two small Lifeboats from our fishing boat. A group of us took our Submachine Guns and rowed toward the Wreck, laughing and joking along the way. 0

I cursed him silently in my heart again. As we got closer to the Wreck, a powerful Yin Qi enveloped the area nearby. The surrounding waters had turned black... 0
