I smiled as I watched her leave, and after dusk, Mai Lao began organizing our descent into the sea. Aside from Shunzi, it was still the eight of us, each equipped with a spear and a light. As I donned my gear, an inexplicable sense of tension washed over me. I hoped something would appear at the wreck's opening, yet I feared what that something might be; my feelings were in conflict. 0

"What's wrong, Brother Yi? You look pale," Jiao Ba asked beside me. 0

"Oh, it's nothing. It might just be something I ate recently," I replied dismissively. 0

"If you're not feeling well, don't force yourself to go down. I can go with Mai Lao and the others," Jiao Ba said earnestly, gripping my arm. 0

I smirked and said, "Don't worry, I'm fine." 0

At that moment, Jenny and Li Xin approached us. "Everyone, please be careful and stay safe. Mai Lao, if there's any danger, surface immediately. It's crucial to ensure everyone's safety first." It seemed Jenny still had a soft heart; whether her words were genuine or not, they at least sounded comforting. 0

Mai Lao nodded and said, "Don't worry; everything will be fine. Now, everyone get ready to dive." After he finished speaking, he donned his breathing apparatus and was the first to leap into the water. 0

Soon after, Jiao Ba and the others followed suit, diving in one after another. The sea tonight was somewhat murky, with waves larger than yesterday's. The visibility underwater was low; without our underwater lights, we could hardly see anything. However, since we had dived three times yesterday, we were somewhat familiar with the dark waters and the wreck's location. Mai Lao led the way as we quickly descended; the old man seemed full of energy today. 0

In less than twenty minutes, we reached the edge of the Dark Sea Area. Mai Lao stopped first, and we followed suit. Each time we approached this area of the sea, an inexplicable anxiety gripped me; this cursed place left a terrible impression on me—nothing but death and darkness remained. 0

Mai Lao turned to us and gestured for caution: "Everyone stay safe and be aware of your surroundings." 0

I nodded and signaled back: "Don't worry; I've been prepared." I gripped my spear tightly, adjusting myself into the best combat state for any unforeseen events. 0

With a wave of Mike's hand, the eight of us marched in, and a chill swept over us. This sea area remained as calm as ever, with no signs of waves, despite the chaos that might be happening outside. Here, everything felt serene, but this tranquility was laced with an air of death that sent shivers down our spines. 0

As we entered the Dark Sea Area, visibility was nearly nonexistent; it was pitch black. Jiao Ba signaled for everyone to remain still for a moment before proceeding. After about ten seconds, our eyes began to adjust to the darkness. Although it was still dim, we gradually started to see our surroundings. 0

This matched what I had been told; visibility in this sea at night was significantly better than during the day. Outside, the waters were murky and unclear, while here it was surprisingly calm and visibility was relatively high. 0

At that moment, Mai Lao urged everyone to move forward. We switched on all the Underwater Lights, illuminating the area around us. While we could see our surroundings, having the Underwater Lights on was necessary for safety in case of any unexpected events. 0

We moved steadily toward the Wreck. After about ten minutes, the outline of the Wreck appeared before us. It lay on its side at the ocean floor like a sleeping giant—strange and mysterious—surrounded by a chilling aura. The white elongated Plankton still drifted nearby. 0

Jiao Ba quickly signaled for us to slow down. We approached the Wreck cautiously, moving at a snail's pace, which began to irritate me. I thought about speeding up slightly, but as soon as I moved, those white elongated creatures came back toward us. I quickly slowed down again, and they returned to their original state. 0

Once we passed through those white beings, we dared to accelerate again. Mai Lao turned back and gestured for us to head to the bow and check the breach. 0

We swiftly made our way to the right side of the bow's bottom. After about ten minutes, we reached the front of the ship. I led another sailor who had spotted the breach toward it, and soon enough, the massive gap came into view. 0

I waved for everyone to come over. We gathered around the edge of the breach while Mai Lao shone his Underwater Light inside. It remained dark; nothing could be seen—like an abyss with no bottom. 0

He gestured for us to direct all our lights toward the breach. Even with all eight Underwater Lights focused there, it was still pitch black inside; wherever the light shone, it revealed only darkness. Just how deep was this breach? We were using powerful lights that could illuminate vast areas around us, yet here they seemed utterly ineffective. 0

I gestured to Mai Lao and asked if we should go in and take a look. 0

Mai Lao nodded and gestured back cautiously, "Yes, but be careful." 0

I was holding the Spear, ready to lead the way inside when, illuminated by the light, I suddenly saw something moving in the gap. It flashed before the light and disappeared in an instant. I couldn't make out what it was, but it scared me so much that I immediately hesitated to move forward. 0

Mai Lao noticed that I had stopped and nudged me, asking what was wrong. 0

I slowly backed away and glanced at Mai Lao, gesturing to him that there was something inside that had just moved. 0

At that moment, Jiao Ba hurried over and gestured as well, "Yeah, I saw it too." 0

Mai Lao quickly signaled for everyone to be cautious. The eight of us readied our Spears, all aimed at the gap. I looked at Mai Lao again; he nodded, indicating we should go in and take a look. My heart raced with anxiety. What the hell was that thing? It could very well be the shadow that killed Landmine. But what kind of creature could it be? 0

As my mind raced with thoughts, Mai Lao and I took the lead and slowly ventured into the gap. Once we entered, I felt a warmth enveloping us; it was genuinely warm here. The water temperature was significantly higher than outside the gap. This area of the sea felt cold and eerie, yet here it was so warm—clearly something unusual was going on. 0

Mai Lao and I paused for a moment, using our lights to observe our surroundings. We didn’t detect any immediate danger. Just as we were about to move forward again, suddenly, there was a powerful surge in the water. I quickly shone my Underwater Light ahead and saw a massive creature charging towards us with its mouth wide open… 0
