The Underwater Light flickered rapidly, as if a connection had short-circuited. I slapped it hard twice, and it finally lit up again. I signaled everyone to hurry and leave. As we reached the hatch on the deck, my Underwater Light began to flicker once more, blinking on and off at an even faster pace than before. 0

What the hell? At such a critical moment, why was the Underwater Light malfunctioning again? I hit it a few more times with force, but this time it didn’t help; the Underwater Light continued to flicker incessantly, sometimes resembling a short circuit caused by water ingress, other times appearing as if it were out of power. 0

Li Xin gestured beside me and asked, "What's going on? Is the light out of battery?" 0

I glanced at her and gestured back, "It must be a short circuit." To be honest, I had no idea why the Underwater Light was acting this way. The only explanation I could think of was a short circuit because I clearly remembered that we had replaced all the lights before diving, and the batteries were new. We had only been underwater for about an hour; how could it possibly run out of power? 0

At that moment, Shunzi anxiously gestured, "Forget about that for now; let’s retreat." 0

The other sailors also urged us to evacuate. This wasn’t about whether it was dangerous or not anymore; our Oxygen Tanks were running low. If we delayed any longer, all seven of us would die inside this wreck. Whether the Underwater Light worked or not didn’t matter; we had seven lights in total and could afford to lose one. I nodded and signaled everyone to leave first. 0

But just then, all seven of our Underwater Lights began to flicker simultaneously, matching the speed of mine almost perfectly. Soon, the rapid blinking was so intense that it hurt our eyes. In the depths of the ship's cabin, the eerie sight of all seven Underwater Lights flickering together was terrifying. The sailors were momentarily stunned, exchanging wide-eyed glances and gesturing frantically; each of their expressions showed signs of panic. 0

The seawater in the cabin wasn’t particularly cold, yet I felt an inexplicable chill creeping over me, and cold sweat began to bead on my forehead. If only my Underwater Light had issues, it could be explained as a wiring problem. But now that all seven of our Underwater Lights were malfunctioning at once, how could that be explained? There was simply no reasonable explanation; it was too coincidental for something like this to happen. 0

We had been underwater for some time now; if there were problems with the Underwater Lights, they should have malfunctioned long ago. Why wait until we entered the cabin for issues to arise? Could this be an omen? Or perhaps a warning? 0

Since we started entering the wreck's cabin, everything had felt strange—the hatch on the deck was just one example, followed by those eerie sounds that seemed to drift around us. Now with the Underwater Lights malfunctioning again, it seemed this wreck was far more sinister than the previous Qing Dynasty Shipwreck. 0

The sailors were in a frenzy; the Underwater Light continued to flicker without stopping. No matter what we did, it kept flashing endlessly. We couldn’t turn it off; even the switch seemed to have failed us completely. This was truly bizarre. 0

Li Xin stared at me, her face filled with fear. She gestured, asking, "What... what is happening?" 0

I looked at her and gestured back, "How would I know?" 0

If only I could answer her question. I was starting to feel a bit frantic myself. If this continued, I might end up losing my mind. So many unbelievable things were happening in this environment; anyone would struggle to cope. 0

Shunzi seemed a bit flustered, waving his hands back and forth. "Brother Yi, what should we do? What should we do?" 0

My mind raced. In such a critical moment, I needed to remain calm. If I lost my composure, the situation would spiral out of control. I had to stabilize everyone's spirits; otherwise, something terrible would happen. 0

I quickly urged everyone to calm down. Although everyone was scared and anxious, as long as I kept my wits about me, I could manage the situation. With my hands gesturing continuously, everyone temporarily settled down, but the Underwater Light in our hands continued to flicker incessantly. 0

I set the Spear aside and gestured with both hands. "Everyone, calm down. Focus! Don't worry about the Underwater Light; let's open the Hatch first. We don't have much time." 0

I had just glanced at the Oxygen Tank; there was less than ten minutes left. If we delayed any longer, it would truly be disastrous. Just as I was about to pull out the Paratrooper Knife to pry open the Hatch, suddenly, the Underwater Light flickered even more violently. The entire cabin's Passage was flashing on and off so rapidly that I could barely see the people around me. What was happening? 0

At that moment, under the rapid flickering of the Underwater Light, I seemed to see many figures moving in the Passage—floating back and forth. They surged out from all directions of the cabin, crowding the entire Passage, moving quickly. 0

I couldn't make out their features; the Underwater Light flickered too wildly. I only caught glimpses of some shapes. What was happening to me? Was this a hallucination? But these images felt so vivid that I could almost see them passing right through me. 0

What were these things? What were they? At that moment, my blood felt like it was running cold; fear enveloped me completely. The Underwater Light continued to flicker, yet those figures did not disappear. My breathing quickened as I tried to calm myself down, but it was impossible now. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would never believe what was happening—where did these eerie figures come from? 0

Just as my thoughts spiraled out of control, suddenly a pale woman's face appeared not far from me. In the flickering light, I vaguely saw her staring at me with blood-red eyes, a sinister smile on her face as she slowly moved closer. 0

As she drew closer to my face, I suddenly realized how familiar her features were. My God, she was... the same as the previous Coffin Corpse. At that moment, I screamed in terror, instinctively reaching for my Spear. Suddenly, the entire cabin plunged into darkness; the Underwater Light went out, and we were all engulfed in blackness. 0

I quickly reached out to grab my companions, but I couldn't see Shunzi or Li Xin. Just as panic began to set in, the Underwater Light flickered back on, illuminating the space without any more flickering. 0

The cabin's Passage returned to its previous calmness, a silence so profound it felt lifeless. The drifting shadows had vanished, and the female corpse that had appeared before me was gone as well. Everything had disappeared as if nothing had ever happened. 0

My heart raced uncontrollably, cold sweat drenched my body. The Breathing Apparatus was bubbling away, and with the light came hope. I glanced at the others; Shunzi and Li Xin looked pale as ghosts, and the other sailors were no better off. Each of them wore a dazed expression, as if they hadn't yet recovered from the shock. 0

But this wasn't the time to be dazed; we needed to leave immediately. I took a deep breath and gritted my teeth to keep calm. I gestured for them to come over and open the Hatch. Except for Li Xin, Shunzi and the other sailors nodded stiffly. I glanced at the Oxygen Tank—we had less than ten minutes left. We had to get out now. 0

I drew my Paratrooper Knife, and just as I inserted the blade into the edge of the Hatch, I faintly heard something stirring outside… 0
