After I finished speaking, Mai Lao and the others exchanged glances. Jiao Ba suddenly asked me, "So who is going to take care of all these things?" 0

I knew this would happen. Since it was my idea, I should be the one to take the lead! "I'll do it, but I need someone to help me lure the Sting Horse Colt. I think that creature is probably still at the gap in the bow of the ship. As for everything else, Mai Lao, you can handle that." 0

In the end, Mai Lao decided that he and I would be responsible for luring the Sting Horse Colt, while Jiao Ba would wait outside the Hatch to assist us. Shunzi, Li Xin, and other sailors would be inside the cabin to secure the Hatch. Once our plan succeeded, we would directly swim from the Wreck and see if we could bring it to the surface. If that worked out, our next step would be to salvage the Wreck. 0

After we finalized these arrangements, Jiao Ba suddenly said, "By the way, Mai Lao, I must remind you that there should only be one usable coffin in that forbidden area; the other two are useless." 0

"Oh? How do you know that?" Mai Lao looked at him suspiciously. 0

Jiao Ba smiled and said, "I'm just guessing. Logically speaking, it's unlikely that all three coffins contain corpses. Moreover, I suspect that one of the coffins from the Qing Dynasty Shipwreck is somehow connected to one of these coffins. What do you think, Mai Lao?" Jiao Ba didn't tell the truth but spoke in a vague and casual manner. 0

Before Mai Lao could respond, Shunzi suddenly interjected, "I don't think so! What connection could there possibly be between them?" I couldn't tell if he was pretending to be clueless or if he genuinely hadn't thought of it. 0

Jiao Ba intentionally glanced at me. I pretended to cough lightly and said, "I think Lao Ba has a point. After all, the previous Coffin Corpse was from the Ming Dynasty, and this time we discovered a Ming Dynasty Shipwreck with coffins inside. There might really be something significant here." 0

After I spoke, I looked directly at Mai Lao. The Old Man nodded and said, "It's not impossible. So Xiao Ba, which coffin do you think we should open?" 0

Jiao Ba feigned a troubled expression and said, "Well... I can't say for sure right now! It's too difficult to analyze since I'm just guessing. How about this, Mai Lao? I'll check my notes first. If we can't salvage the Wreck, we can think of another way later. What do you say?" 0

I stifled a laugh on the side; he was quite good at deceiving people! This guy really knew how to play dumb; he looked completely calm as if no one could tell he was lying. 0

"Alright then," Mai Lao agreed. "By the way, how about we take a break today? Are you guys interested in going fishing together?" 0

The three of us quickly waved our hands in refusal. "No, no! We're not interested in fishing at all." After I finished speaking, Mai Lao laughed and patted my arm before turning to leave the deck. 0

Once Mai Lao left, Shunzi lingered for a moment before heading back to the Rest Cabin. As soon as he left, I turned to Jiao Ba and asked, "Why didn't you tell Mai Lao the truth about what’s in that forbidden area?" 0

"There’s no need for that. I just need to remind them which things are safe and which are dangerous," Jiao Ba replied casually. 0

I sighed and said, "But I feel like he already suspects you. Didn't you notice?" 0

"Let him doubt, then. Some things are better left unsaid. As long as you and I know, it doesn't matter if we tell them or not. Besides, everything related to Coffin Corpse is in our hands. We can't say much now; we can discuss it once we retrieve the other coffin." 0

"Do as you wish! Just don't let anything major happen." 0

While we were talking, Jenny and Li Xin walked out from the cabin. Jiao Ba, feeling bored, chimed in, "Oh look, two beautiful ladies have come to see you." 0

"Shut up! Why don't you say they're here to see you?" I retorted, still vividly remembering what happened last time. Jenny clearly had no interest in me, and I didn't want to embarrass myself again. 0

"I don't have your charm," he replied with a grin as he waved at them. 0

I intentionally greeted Li Xin while ignoring Jenny. "Good morning, Li Xin." 0

Li Xin was taken aback for a moment, probably surprised that I would initiate a conversation with her. She casually nodded and said, "You too." 0

Jenny shot me a glance, and I quickly turned my head away, pretending to look at the sea outside. I didn't want to say anything more to her. Li Xin was cold on the outside, while Jenny was cold on the inside; these two really complemented each other. 0

After they approached, Jiao Ba said, "I'm going to find something to eat. You guys take your time chatting." As he left, he nudged me with his elbow. 0

I continued to play dead, leisurely smoking a cigarette while humming a tune. One leg kept tapping rhythmically, and occasionally I would burst into song, making it all feel quite relaxed. 0

"Not saying anything when you see me—what does that mean?" Jenny's voice came from beside me. 0

I turned to glance at her and replied, "Are you talking to me?" 0

"Of course! If I'm not talking to you, am I talking to a ghost?" Jenny's face flushed red; she seemed a bit annoyed. 0

I chuckled and said, "Well, Li Xin is right next to you! How am I supposed to know who you're talking to?" 0

Li Xin looked back and forth between us, her expression becoming slightly awkward as if she had discovered something. Yet she smiled and said, "Um... Jenny, I'm going to find something to eat too. You two can chat slowly." 0

"Hey, don't go!" Jenny tried to call her back, but Li Xin was quicker and dashed back into the cabin. 0

I glanced sideways at Li Xin's back and smiled. "What are you laughing at? Is it that funny?" Jenny shot me a glare. 0

"Are you looking for trouble? I can laugh if I want! Should I be crying instead?" I replied irritably. 0

"Jin Zhongyi, I've noticed you're quite dull! Did I offend you? You’re deliberately pretending not to see me," Jenny asked, looking straight into my eyes. 0

I felt a bit guilty under her gaze. "I didn't mean it that way. You were the one who said I don't take things seriously and didn't want to joke with me, so I thought I'd just keep quiet. Now that I'm not saying anything, you're still unhappy. You women are really hard to please." 0

"Hey, I just said not to make 'random' jokes. I didn't say anything else. You're really something..." 0

"Alright, alright, let's just say I misspoke. Do you have anything else to say? If not, I'm leaving. I've got to go out to sea tomorrow and need to rest," I said, putting on an impatient expression. 0

Jenny's sharp eyes fixed on me as she stared for a few seconds before saying, "It's fine, you can go." 0

I shrugged and turned to head into the cabin, but just as I took a couple of steps, I heard Jenny call out from behind me, "Wait a minute." 0

I stopped but didn’t turn around. Jenny continued, "Be careful tomorrow..." 0

In that moment, I waved my hand behind me without looking back and strode confidently toward the Rest Cabin. At first, I thought I looked cool doing it, but once inside the Rest Cabin, I realized how foolish I was for missing yet another opportunity... 0
