At this critical moment, Shunzi was causing trouble for me. I instructed Big Guy to support Mai Lao and asked Jiao Ba to lead the others away from the Wreck. 0

As I turned to go inside and look for someone, Changshan grabbed my shoulder and gestured to me, "I'm coming with you." 0

I looked into his eyes, which were filled with sincerity. After a second, I nodded vigorously. We quickly made our way back through the passage, heading straight to the innermost part. In just a few minutes, we arrived in front of the Underwater Light and found Shunzi. 0

He seemed to be entangled by something, struggling fiercely. Bubbles were escaping from his Breathing Apparatus, clearly indicating he was in distress. Changshan and I hurriedly swam over. 0

As we got closer, I saw that Shunzi's feet were ensnared by a white, seaweed-like substance that was emerging from a pile of Bones. It looked like those long white creatures that had been around the Wreck earlier. 0

Changshan reacted quickly; he swiftly drew his Diving Knife and began cutting through the strange things while I pulled on Shunzi with all my strength. This was bad—the collapse was about to reach us. 0

I shouted urgently, signaling Changshan to hurry up; otherwise, Shunzi would truly be lost. In that critical moment, Changshan dashed in front of Shunzi. We both exerted ourselves simultaneously and managed to drag Shunzi up from the seabed just as the collapse passed beneath us. It was sheer luck. 0

Dragging Shunzi along, Changshan and I quickly retreated. The Wreck shook violently, and debris fell from above as if it were about to collapse at any moment. Several times, we narrowly avoided being struck. 0

The situation felt dire; we had to dodge and weave our way through multiple hazards. Any slight mistake could have cost us our lives, but fortunately, we managed to escape through the gap in the Wreck and emerged into the Deep Sea Maze. 0

Once outside, I noticed that Jiao Ba and Mai Lao hadn’t left; they were waiting for us above the Wreck. When Mai Lao saw us three emerge, he waved us over urgently. 0

We hurriedly swam towards them. I gestured to Mai Lao, indicating that we had made it through without serious issues. 0

Mai Lao seemed to smile and nodded but quickly turned his gaze back toward the Wreck. I saw his expression change instantly; it became dark and grave. 0

I turned to look in the direction of the Wreck as well, unable to believe my eyes. The sight before me was unimaginable— the Wreck was completely ruined, and the collapsed opening had expanded beyond comprehension, threatening to engulf the entire structure. 0

In just a few minutes, the area of collapse had grown nearly as large as the Wreck itself. At that moment, however, the collapse seemed to have stopped; the bow and stern of the ship barely supported its weight while creaking ominously. 0

Then came a loud crash—the Ming Dynasty Shipwreck split directly in half. It broke apart forcefully, with one half sinking vertically into the opening and slowly disappearing from view. 0

A massive Underwater Abyss appeared before us, the size of the opening was beyond description. I floated above the entrance, looking down; it was unimaginably vast, as if it had been bombarded by meteors. 0

We were all a bit dumbfounded, exchanging glances with one another. I gestured to Mai Lao, asking, "What is this?" 0

Mai Lao shook his head, looking somewhat pale, his eyes filled with disbelief. He couldn't make any sense of what was happening; it defied all logic. How could such a huge chasm suddenly appear on the ocean floor? 0

I glanced at Jiao Bayi; his expression was grave as he stared intently at the opening. I nudged him and waved my hand to ask for his opinion. 0

Jiao Ba gestured simply with two words: "Strange." 0

Shunzi and the other sailors collectively shook their heads. No one could explain this bizarre opening; they were either stunned or in shock. 0

What the hell was this? It had been no bigger than a bowl's mouth, yet in less than ten minutes, it had transformed into something enormous, like an endless abyss, exuding an eerie aura. 0

Suddenly, Mai Lao issued a command for us to go down and take a look. The seven of us slowly descended to the edge of the opening, stopping just a few meters above it because no one dared to get too close. 0

None of us knew whether there was anything inside. If a giant monster were to suddenly burst out, it could wipe us all out in an instant. 0

I didn't know about the others, but I felt a bit anxious. A huge Wreck had been swallowed up in an instant; clearly, this opening was bottomless. 0

All seven Underwater Lights were turned on to probe into the abyss, but unfortunately, they were utterly useless. The light shone down only to be instantly consumed by darkness. The level of blackness inside was indescribable. 0

Seeing that the Underwater Lights were ineffective, Mai Lao gestured again and asked, "Who will go down with me?" 0

This question posed quite a challenge. Descending into that hole felt like asking for death. Jiao Ba was the first to wave his hands frantically, signaling, "Don't go! It's too dangerous!" 0

Mai Lao ignored him and gestured again, "Who will come with me?" 0

Shunzi and the others hesitated, unsure how to express their reluctance; they could only stare blankly at Mai Lao. Big Guy awkwardly gestured, "Do we really have to go down?" 0

Mai Lao nodded seriously. I stepped forward and grabbed Mai Lao's arm firmly, nodding vigorously. "I'll go with you." 0

I knew that continuing to hold out like this was pointless; no one would be willing to risk their life by going down into this hole. It was likely a one-way trip. I wasn't doing this because I was unafraid of death, but because I was worried about Mai Lao. At least with two of us, we could look out for each other. 0

Mai Lao looked at me, pointed at my body, and gestured, "No, you have injuries. You need to stay behind." 0

Jiao Ba anxiously gestured, "No, no! Don't go down! None of you should go!" He waved his arms back and forth, his face looking even worse than before. 0

Without saying another word, I signaled for Mai Lao to come down. "There's no time for nonsense." 0

I dove straight into the hole. As soon as Mai Lao saw me go in, he followed closely behind. We slowly descended into the cave; the water here was cold, a stark contrast to the warmth above. 0

We swam down parallel to each other, using the Underwater Light to observe our surroundings. Unfortunately, it was of no use; as soon as we reached the entrance of the cave, it completely failed. Darkness enveloped us, and I could barely make out Mai Lao beside me with the light from my hand. 0

The entrance was enormous; we felt like ants in a well. After swimming for what felt like ages, we found nothing but darkness—just more darkness—and my sense of fear continued to grow. 0

I gestured to Mai Lao, "Let's go back; it's too deep." 0

I had no idea how deep this hole was, but I felt utterly exhausted from the descent and could barely take it anymore. Mai Lao glanced at me and nodded helplessly; it seemed there was little hope left. 0

Just as we were about to turn back, a slight tremor shook the cave, followed by that ominous 'rumbling' sound again. Mai Lao and I exchanged glances and simultaneously gestured, "Run!" 0

We quickly swam upwards. My fears were about to come true; this massive hole might start sucking in water again. We swam frantically towards the surface as fast as we could. 0

Outside the entrance, there was no obvious 'rumbling' sound yet; it hadn't reached us here. Once it did reach above, none of us would escape—we would all perish inside this hole. 0

Jiao Ba and the others were still waiting for us at the surface. After Mai Lao and I burst out of the water, we frantically gestured, "Hurry! Get out of here!" 0

A few of them still didn't understand what was happening. I swam up next to Jiao Ba, grabbed him, and pulled him upwards while Shunzi and the others hurriedly followed. 0

At that moment, I felt the entire ocean tremble beneath us. The 'rumbling' noise made my ears ache, but I didn't dare look back. The seven of us accelerated upwards and broke through the Sea Surface. 0

The fishing boat was right beside us; Jenny and Li Xin had been waiting on deck for us. "How is it? Is everyone okay?" Jenny shouted as soon as she saw us emerge from the water. 0

I took off the Breathing Apparatus and shouted, "Jenny, get the boat ready to leave, hurry up!" 0

"What? What's going on?" Jenny asked me, still confused. 0

But there was no time to explain anything. I called for Mai Lao and the others to board the Lifeline quickly; we had to escape. A few of them scrambled up the Lifeline and onto the fishing boat. 0

Although Mai Lao's right arm was injured, it didn't slow him down at all. Using only his left arm, he climbed faster than anyone else. That old man was incredibly resilient; he must have been a special forces soldier in his past life. 0

Jiao Ba and I brought up the rear, but as soon as Jiao Ba climbed onto the Lifeline, he turned to me and said, "It's over, Brother Yi. We can't escape." 0

I turned around and was stunned. A massive whirlpool had formed on the sea surface, and our fishing boat was right on the edge of it. 0

I looked up and shouted, "Start the boat, hurry!" 0

The force of the whirlpool grew stronger. Before we could even get away, we were already being pulled in. The enormous whirlpool caused the fishing boat to spin uncontrollably, dragging it deeper into the water. Despite the boat's engines roaring at full power, we couldn't break free. 0

I grabbed hold of the Lifeline and yelled, "Secure your Breathing Apparatus! We're going down!" I didn't know if it would help, but I had to try; damn it, there was no escaping this fate. 0

As we spun rapidly, the whirlpool sucked the fishing boat into its massive maw, and I was pulled along into that bottomless abyss... 0
