Meanwhile, another taxi driver reported that on November 17th, around 6 PM, he picked up two young girls from a supermarket and took them near the crime scene. At that time, the girls had some liquid in the trunk. When the driver asked about it, the girls said it was antifreeze, so he didn't think much of it.
After reviewing the supermarket's surveillance footage, the police confirmed that the two girls who took the taxi to the vicinity of the crime scene were indeed the same girls who had bought a knife at the supermarket.

The police quickly tracked down a girl named Xiao Xue. During questioning, Xiao Xue claimed she was merely an informed party and did not participate; it was her two friends, Xiao Na and Xiao Dan, who were involved.

During interrogation, Suspect Xiao Na and Xiao Dan confessed to their crimes and explained what had happened.
According to Xiao Na, the victim was named Yueyue. The reason for wanting to kill her was that Yueyue was her romantic rival, all because of her boyfriend A-Peng.
A-Peng had dropped out of school years earlier and opened a barbershop. He met Xiao Na at a party in early 2009, where his humor left a deep impression on her.
One night, they went to an internet café and rented a private room. While watching a movie and chatting, Xiao Na suddenly felt the urge to use the restroom. However, there was no bathroom in the café, so A-Peng suggested he accompany her to the nearby hotel.
Unable to hold it any longer, Xiao Na followed A-Peng to the hotel restroom.
He said, "You go ahead; I'll wait for you outside."
"I agreed, but after I came out, I couldn't find anyone."
Then I walked towards the door. Just as I reached it, he pulled me into that room.
That night, the two of them shared a moment of passion and joy. Afterwards, they confirmed their romantic relationship, and Xiao Na secretly vowed to marry no one but A-Peng for the rest of her life.
However, just a few months later, Xiao Na discovered that A-Peng had an unclear relationship with her employee, Yueyue. Upon realizing that A-Peng had other women in his life, Xiao Na's love for him gradually faded away.
Since birth, Xiao Na had lived with the scars of her parents' divorce. After her father left, her mother remarried and had another son, leaving Xiao Na to rely solely on her grandmother.
This background made Xiao Na sensitive and extremely strong-willed.
At first, she felt pity for Yueyue and treated her like a younger sister. She even invited Xiao Dan and Xiaoxue to play with Yueyue. But now that Yueyue had stolen her boyfriend, Xiao Na felt mocked and was filled with rage.
Yet, she suppressed her feelings for a long time until the last argument with A-Peng erupted into chaos. Feeling wronged, Xiao Na decided to take back her laptop that she had left at A-Peng's place, leading to a physical altercation between them.
This incident made Xiao Na realize that she was less important than a laptop and understood that A-Peng wanted to possess everything about her.
He knelt down and begged me, saying he was wrong and all that while hitting his own hand with a brick until it swelled up. I told him to remember that if he ever hit me again, there would be no future for us.
But what ultimately infuriated Xiao Na was in October 2009. As her birthday approached, her godfather gifted her a necklace. However, after spending the night with A-Peng, the necklace went missing.
Xiao Na knew that besides herself and A-Peng, only one other person had a key to her home—Yueyue. Convinced that Yueyue had stolen the necklace, she confronted her, but instead of admitting it, Yueyue hurled many hurtful words at her.
At this point, Xiao Na could no longer endure it and confided her desire to kill Yueyue to Xiao Dan.
She told me she wanted to kill her, and I tried to persuade her, asking if it was really necessary.
She replied that it was not possible, then added that if I were her friend, I wouldn’t have to go along with it. From that moment on, we were no longer on good terms, but out of loyalty, I decided to accompany her.
After careful plotting, on the afternoon of November 17, they bought two kitchen knives and selected the crime scene.
To lure Yueyue out, they racked their brains, but unexpectedly, Yueyue called Xiao Dan to borrow money. Consequently, Xiao Dan arranged to meet with Yueyue.
Thus, they also brought in Xiaoxue, who along with Xiao Dan would get Yueyue drunk while Xiao Na waited nearby at the crime scene. After much effort, Xiaoxue and Xiao Dan managed to intoxicate Yueyue and brought her to the designated location.
Under the moonlight, Xiao Na saw Xiao Dan and Xiaoxue approaching with the heavily intoxicated Yueyue. Without hesitation, she rushed forward and stabbed Yueyue three times. Yueyue quickly collapsed onto the ground.
Then Xiao Na poured gasoline over Yueyue's body, and ultimately, Xiao Dan ignited the gasoline, resulting in Yueyue being burned alive.
With this, the case was successfully solved by the police.
