Upon returning home, Xiaohua looked at me with a face full of sadness. 0

"Grandma, are you really going to divorce Grandpa?" 0

I never expected that my beloved partner would say such things to me. After decades of weathering storms together, he chose to utter the harshest words in our twilight years. I took out our faded marriage certificate and declared resolutely, "Yes, this marriage has lost all meaning." 0

"But Grandma, you love Grandpa so much." 0

Xiaohua had heard me recount our love story more than once. 0

"Silly child, feelings are something only the person experiencing them can truly understand," I sighed, feeling helpless. "I wanted to spend my life with your grandpa, to grow old together, but he no longer wants me!" 0

Xiaohua was moved by my emotions; she never thought there could be someone like me in this world. Yet she didn't realize that Grandpa didn't cherish me and instead wanted to divorce me to be with his idealized love. 0

"Grandma, don't be sad. You still have me!" 0

Xiaohua hugged me tightly, her face filled with concern. 0

"Don't worry, Grandma. I will always be here for you." 0

"Alright, alright," I said with a smile as I patted Xiaohua's head. 0

At that moment, my partner let out a cold snort. 0

"What right do you have to blame me?" 0

"Aren't you the same?" 0

"When I was sick, you looked down on me and still have the nerve to talk about it?" 0

I let out a cold laugh as I looked at him, feeling that he was becoming more and more of a stranger to me. 0

"When have I ever looked down on you?" 0

"When you were sick, I was the one running around, taking care of you with all my heart. But what about you? Did you ever say thank you? No, all you did was boss me around." 0

"During your illness, wasn't I the one bringing you tea and medicine? Wasn't I the one bustling around in the hospital? Yet, as soon as you were discharged, you left me alone at home while you went out to meet your white moonlight." 0

"It was my foolishness, my endurance. I sacrificed my job to take care of you for the sake of this family." 0

"But what have you done?" 0

The more I spoke, the more agitated I became, tears streaming down my face uncontrollably. 0

"You actually want to divorce me and be with your white moonlight. How can you face me?" 0

My partner was left speechless by my accusations, stammering without a response. 0

"I... I..." 0

Seeing him like this only made my heart colder. 0

"What do you mean 'I'? Am I wrong in what I'm saying?" 0

"Or are you just a selfish, cold-hearted person from the very beginning? Have you only ever thought of yourself and never considered anyone else?" 0

"I've treated you so well, yet you're thinking about how to kick me out. What did I marry you for?" 0

"You have nothing; everything we have was built together with my support. And from the start, you've wanted to get rid of me to be with your white moonlight." 0

"I've finally seen through you." 0

As my anger escalated, I moved closer to slap my partner. 0

"From now on, we have nothing to do with each other." 0

My son caught my hand, unable to contain himself as he urgently asked, "Dad, is what your phone said just now true?" 0

My partner didn't answer, and my son grew anxious. 0

"Dad, please tell me if it's true or not!" 0

"If it is true, we can help you divorce Mom, but as for the money, split it in half with me." 0

My daughter-in-law chimed in as well, "Yes, Dad, we're all family; we can help you." 0

"If this works out, our family could strike it rich. Just don't forget about us when that happens!" 0
