He held onto the handrail of the stairs, climbing steadily step by step. At the top of the stairs was a narrow corridor, and as he stepped out, he was immediately captivated by the dense growth of mushrooms lining the hallway. The floor was almost completely covered with various types of mushrooms, their colors vibrant and shapes peculiar, some even emitting a faint glow from time to time. 0

He walked more cautiously, afraid of crushing these seemingly fragile organisms. The air in the corridor was thick with a rich fungal scent, making his breathing somewhat difficult. He pulled up his collar to cover his nose, trying to lessen the discomfort. Occasionally, there were faint rustling sounds among the mushrooms, as if they had their own lives and were quietly communicating. 0

Ironclad walked down the corridor filled with colorful mushrooms, his eyes drawn to these strange organisms. Their colors were vibrant and varied, some resembling umbrellas, others like coral, and some even resembling birds in flight. A sweet fragrance wafted through the air, creating a sense of relaxation and pleasure. However, the peculiar appearance and scent of the mushrooms made him feel uneasy, as he had no idea whether they were safe. 0

He drew his sword and continued to walk forward cautiously. With each step, his heartbeat quickened. He knew there could be unknown dangers lurking here, yet he couldn't resist the urge to move ahead. As he ventured deeper, he began to feel a strange desire within him—a compulsion to try eating these mushrooms. He told himself that it was definitely not a wise choice, but he couldn't control his curiosity. 0

Ironclad felt his heart pounding violently, an unusual sensation that filled him with unprecedented unease. He struggled to maintain his composure, but the mushrooms before him seemed to be beckoning him, their tiny voices echoing increasingly clearly in his ears: "Eat me, eat me." He shook his head vigorously, trying to dispel these unreal hallucinations, but the voices grew louder and more insistent, seemingly drawing nearer. 0

His heartbeat quickened, and his trembling fingers nearly lost their grip on the hilt of his sword. He could hardly believe what was happening before him, yet the hallucinations became more and more vivid, no longer something he could easily ignore. The colors of the mushrooms intensified, as if each one was pulsating, like little clowns inviting him to join this bizarre world. 0

His breathing became rapid, and the fear and unease in his heart seemed to engulf him in an instant. He closed his eyes tightly, trying to calm himself down, but those voices seemed to be etched in his mind, relentlessly haunting him. He wanted to escape from this place, but his feet felt like they were nailed to the ground, unable to move. 0

Finally, under the constant urging of those voices, he slowly and hesitantly walked towards the mushrooms. With each step, his heart was filled with struggle and fear. He knew deep down that there might be unknown dangers ahead, but he seemed unable to control himself. His steps seemed to be drawn by some kind of force, involuntarily moving forward. 0

As he approached the mushroom, he hesitated for a moment, then reached out his hand, unable to resist the deep-seated impulse to try it. He took a deep breath and slowly bent down, extending his hand to pluck a mushroom. Its surface was slick and cold, feeling less like a part of a living organism and more like some kind of frigid substance. 0

Ironclad felt an unprecedented sense of fear and helplessness. His hand seemed to move beyond his control, slowly bringing a mushroom to his lips, while inside, he was fiercely struggling to escape this terrifying influence. Every inch of his skin trembled; he felt his heart pounding violently in his chest, like a trapped beast trying to break free from its restraints. 0

Suddenly, a huge anger surged in his heart. This anger burned fiercely, making his blood boil. The Blood of Fire surged within him, with every drop of blood carrying strength and courage for him. He felt a strong will emerging from the depths of his heart, sweeping up like a sharp blade cutting through the illusion brought by the mushrooms. 0

His consciousness instantly became clear, and a murderous intent flashed in his eyes due to the anger. He violently threw the mushrooms in his hand to the ground, and with a crisp shattering sound, the mushrooms were crushed. He quickly drew the sword from his back, and the blade drew a cold light in the air. He furiously smashed the sword blade towards the mushroom group, as if each strike aimed to completely shatter this terrifying illusion. 0

Every time the sword falls, it carries his anger and unyielding spirit. His sword dance becomes faster and faster, and every strike turns the mushrooms into fragments. Each swing of his sword seems to freeze the air in the corridor, and the wild dance of the blade fills the surrounding air with an overwhelming power. 0

In his eyes, there is only fury and killing intent. He wants to completely destroy these strange mushrooms and make them pay for controlling him. His sword dance becomes more and more wild, and every strike instantly turns the mushrooms into fragments, those seemingly ridiculous creatures completely lose their vitality under his sword. 0

He swung his sword relentlessly, destroying all the mushrooms around him. It wasn't until the last mushroom was shattered by the blade that he finally stopped, panting and feeling an exhaustion he had never experienced before. However, he knew he had finally freed himself from that strange illusion and regained control over himself. 0

As the last mushroom lost its original glow, silence enveloped the area, with only Ironclad's heavy breathing echoing in the corridor. Suddenly, a series of rapid and chaotic sounds reached his ears, like countless small claws scurrying across the floor. His heart raced, and he quickly focused his mind, gripping the hilt of his sword tightly as he warily scanned his surroundings. 0

He soon saw a group of rodents infected by mushrooms quickly wriggling out of the shadows of the corridor towards him. Their bodies were covered with the hyphae of the mushrooms, and madness and murderous intent were evident in their eyes, apparently completely losing their sanity. Under the control of the mushrooms, these animals became unusually fierce. 0
