Swain refocused his gaze and asked, "So, can you tell me more details about the explosion case in the city?"
Draven took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down, and then began to explain, "According to the descriptions of the people, this incident occurred inside an abandoned tower to the southwest of the city. A woman wearing a hood entered the tower, and shortly after, the tower exploded. Not just once, but several consecutive explosions echoed throughout the entire area."
He paused for a moment, seemingly collecting his emotions, and then continued, "What's most worrying is that these explosions seem to be deliberate. After the explosions, a large number of flyers drifted down from the tower. These flyers all had news and photos about my brother, Darius."
At this point, Draven's voice became even more tense, and his fists involuntarily clenched.
Swain saw the emotional changes in Draven and immediately reminded him, "Calm down a bit, Draven. I know this is very difficult for you, but we need you to stay calm in order to understand the situation more accurately."
Draven nodded, although he was still filled with anxiety and unease inside, he knew Swain was right. He needed to calm down in order to effectively solve the problem. So, he took a deep breath, relaxed his tense fists, and continued to report other relevant information.
Draven stared intently at Swain and continued to report: "After the appearance of the flyers, things became even more eerie. The tower was suddenly covered in a thick layer of ice, clearly the work of some powerful magic. Then, a group of ice crystal ravens flew to the tower, swirling in the air before converging into a humanoid form. It was the witch of Freljord, Lissandra."
His voice became more serious, as if recalling that moment still made him uneasy: "When I arrived at the scene, she was standing there, loudly proclaiming her intention to rule the world, with Noxus as her first target."
Draven paused for a moment and then said, "Of course, I couldn't let her be so arrogant. So, I drew my double axes and prepared to give her an unforgettable lesson. Our battle was earth-shattering and heart-stopping. Every time I swung the axe, it was like a thunderous blow, keeping her at bay."
His voice was full of confidence and arrogance, as if he were an unmatched hero on the battlefield. "After an intense battle, I used my axe to cut off her ice crystal, letting her feel the true power of Noxus. But this coward actually used some low-level magic to escape, lacking the courage to face her defeat."
Draven showed a hint of dissatisfaction and anger on his face, tightly clenching his fist: "She lost and just ran away, this makes me very dissatisfied. This is not the behavior a warrior should have! More importantly, her appearance and everything she has done make me worried that there is a bigger conspiracy behind this. I will not allow anyone to threaten Noxus, especially not under my supervision!"
After Draven's report, the entire legislature hall fell into a brief silence. Although the final battle between Draven and Lissandra was not commented on, even the stern Swain had to admit that Noxus is currently facing serious problems.
Draven looked at the members of the legislature, their expressions turned serious, even somewhat solemn. Even the usually calm Swain and the mysterious faceless seemed particularly focused. Swain slowly said, " Draven, when you were battling Lissandra, did you feel anything unusual?"
Draven furrowed his brow, recalling the battle just now, and said, "Now that I think about it, there were indeed some strange aspects. Firstly, she kept evading, hardly initiating any attacks on me. It's as if she cared more about something else than the battle itself."
He paused for a moment and continued, "There's something else that doesn't sit right with me. Every time my weapon hits her, the sensation is strange. It doesn't feel like hitting flesh, it's like hitting something, yet it also feels like hitting nothing at all. It's like striking a hollow object, lacking the substance I would expect. This makes me very uneasy because I've never felt this way before."
This description from Draven heightened the tension in the legislature hall. The Gentle Faceless One exchanged a glance, both expressing vigilance and concern in their eyes.
Swain's tightly furrowed brow indicated his deep contemplation, and he slowly began to speak: "The behavior and abilities of this enemy are highly unusual. The transition from flames to ice crystals, and then to transforming into a crow and humanoid form, all demonstrate her mastery of some highly complex magic."
He paused, then continued, "Moreover, she seems to be intentionally provoking and causing chaos, yet unwilling to engage in direct combat with you. This may suggest that she has other motives, or that she is testing us, coupled with your subtle sensations during the battle..."
Swain tightly held the parchment in his hand, his gaze becoming sharper. "I have reason to suspect that the so-called Lissandra we are fighting against may not be the real Lissandra. Even an enemy general would not recklessly charge into enemy territory, especially a place as distant from her home ground - Freljord." This behavior is too bold and illogical."
Draven furrowed his brow, his lips slightly curling as if to refute Swain's point. But when his eyes met Swain's, he suddenly realized that Swain's analysis made sense. He ultimately suppressed the words he was about to blurt out and chose to remain silent.
