My best friend introduced me to her brother.

I scrolled through his social media, and he was tall with long legs, sporting Eight-Pack Abs and a V-Shaped Waist.
I couldn't help but flirt with him.
Finally, he agreed to meet up.
But when we chatted online, he said, " baby, I've never been in a relationship, so don't judge me."
In person, he transformed into a cold and domineering figure.
I messaged my friend to vent: "Why does he have two different personalities?"
She decided to video call him to scold him for pretending.
When the call connected, she was stunned: "Uncle, what are you doing here?"
I was taken aback.
Lu Fu's brother had passed my test.
I casually clicked on his profile picture and entered his social media, where I found an abundance of photos showcasing his eight-pack abs, back views, and his impressive physique.
I couldn't help but smile.
I sent a message: "Brother, could you send me a front-facing photo? I want to see how handsome you are."
He replied instantly: "?"
I pressed on: "Don't be shy."
Then I sent a casual photo of myself.
A moment later, he sent back a photo of himself that took my breath away.
Lu Fu's brother not only had an incredible physique but also possessed a face that exuded a subtle sense of restraint.
With gold-rimmed glasses and dressed in a suit, his chiseled features were striking; the corners of his mouth lifted slightly—he was no cute puppy but rather a charming wolf.
"You're so handsome! I'm Le Mian; what's your name?" I asked.
"Lu Jin," he replied.
"Can I call you 'brother' from now on?" I inquired.
He took ten minutes to respond: "Sure."
At first, Lu Jin was particularly aloof; when I sent him lengthy cheesy lines, he merely replied, "That's quite special."
Later, when I shared cold jokes with him, he would only respond with "Haha."
I couldn't help but complain to my friend: "Isn't your brother supposed to be a cute puppy? Why does he act like such a cold boss?"
Lu Fu frowned and advised me: "That's just his personality; he's distant when he's not familiar with someone, but once he warms up to you, he'll be all over you!"
Sure enough, Lu Fu was right.
For three whole months, I poured my heart out to him daily, sharing updates while encouraging Lu Jin to share his life too.
Finally, Lu Jin transformed from a cold, domineering CEO into a clingy little puppy.
Lu Jin: "Kiss, baby. When can we meet?"
Lu Jin: "I miss you so much. Can we video chat tonight? I want to show you my abs."
Lu Jin: "The new clothes my wife bought for me have arrived. I want to change and show you."
He had an eight-pack, a toned waist, and his body proportions were excellent. I had bought him several outfits specifically for him to change into for me.
I must say, Lu Jin was truly a clothes rack; even through the screen, I was drooling.
But as someone skilled in online dating, I was too scared to start a video call, and I didn't dare to meet him in person either. After all, the flirty things I said were quite embarrassing—I couldn't even bear to look at them a second time!
So, I sought help from Lu Fu.
Lu Fu frowned at me again and said, "Come on, don’t worry. My brother is a chatterbox; he can talk about anything and will definitely keep the conversation going. Plus, there will be surprises when you meet—he's even more handsome in person!"
For the surprise, I agreed to meet Lu Jin: "Let's meet next Wednesday evening. I need to go for an interview first."
Lu Jin: "Great! When and where?"
I replied: "Yun Guang Building. I've received my job offer. Once I finish the onboarding process, let's meet at the western restaurant downstairs. It's on me!"
But I never expected to see Lu Jin in the office before our scheduled meeting.
After completing my onboarding process, Lu Jin arrived. He walked straight to the secretary's office and tossed some documents onto Secretary Lin Yue's desk.
"This is the first draft; I need the final version," he said with a slight frown. Dressed in a suit, he exuded an impressive aura, his sharp features strikingly handsome, but his words lacked warmth.
He was completely different from the Lu Jin of our online relationship.
"Change the flight schedule. Handle these documents here and let her go on the business trip with me," he instructed.
Lu Jin glanced at his watch and then looked at me: "You, get ready."
Huh?
Lu Jin! It was only my first day on the job; there was no need for such a blurring of professional boundaries!
I hurriedly organized the documents and rushed home to grab a few changes of clothes. In my haste, I messaged my best friend: "Lu Fu, why did your brother become CEO? Why didn’t you tell me beforehand?"
Lu Fu replied instantly: "Oh, he just started interning as CEO. Our family has a lot of businesses; there aren't enough candidates for CEO positions, so we let him intern for now. I forgot to inform you!"
No wonder he could mix business with pleasure.
So he was just interning.
I replied: "With him acting like this, I feel like the company is going to go under."
Lu Fu: "Have you seen him? How does he feel? Is he super clingy?"
I responded: "Not clingy enough! I'm swamped with work on my first day; I'll talk later—I'm about to board the plane."
On the plane, I turned off my phone and quietly glanced at Lu Jin, who was sitting beside me.
He was indeed so handsome that it could stir the gods and anger the heavens.
Especially when I looked at him up close, my heart felt like it was about to leap out of my chest. Lu Jin's eyelashes were thick and long, and his lips were thin but shaped like cherry blossoms, rosy and inviting. I couldn't help but want to kiss him.
And that jawline—wow. His Adam's apple, wow again.
Then there were his collarbones, sharply defined. I couldn't even imagine how happy I would be if I could see the muscles beneath his shirt with my own eyes!
"Do you think I'm good-looking?"
Suddenly, Lu Jin turned his face slightly toward me. His expression was unreadable, and his obsidian eyes gave nothing away about his emotions.
Who could understand? In our online relationship, he was a timid little puppy, but in reality, he was a tall, aloof CEO! The contrast frightened me.
"Uh, y-yeah, you're good-looking."
I stammered like a quail caught in the light.
"Mm." Lu Jin tilted his head and closed his eyes to rest.
I finally breathed a sigh of relief, feeling both anxious and exhilarated.
After getting off the plane and arriving at the hotel, Lu Jin and I didn't say a word to each other until I opened my luggage and checked my phone. That’s when I saw a bunch of messages from him.
Lu Jin: "Wife, I got a bit sleepy earlier and dozed off. If you think I'm good-looking, take a good look at me."
Lu Jin: "Are you taking me to dinner at a Western restaurant tonight? There's one here that's really delicious."
Lu Jin: "Wife, kiss kiss! Why are you ignoring me?"
Lu Jin: "I'm not very good with words in real life; you won't be mad at me, right?"
